Good morning friends! A handful of you have seen our Instagram Video showing off our various pawper styles and have asked about sharing the sampler that we used.... soooo here we are! We wanted to get a sampler that was easily printable for single color printers before sharing and getting something just right took a little longer than initially anticipated. This was designed as an easy way to show the difference in switch styles. The clickers featured in the photos are Pawpers but you can use them for your favorite clickers to show off the differences of your clicker portfolio! For those of you thinking about suggesting single or multi square clickers that print in one piece, hang tight... 🀫 there may be a very special clicker design in the works... 🐾🟦πŸŸͺ🟩🐾

Variety Sampler Multi-Pack can be found HERE!

Like most of my designs, this is a clicky design that requires a mechanical keyboard switch to make the clicky part. These models feature a universal base design which has been tested with many keyboard switches and 99% of them work! I have an up to date list of verified clickers with links you can find HERE. This design should be compatible with most MX style keyboard switches, however, the two metal contacts on the bottom of the switch must be clipped off flush (or folded over) to ensure the switch seats properly in the base (this is a destructive process).

This pack contains 1 cap and a variety of bases. The bases are designed as interlocking pieces so they can print easily in single color and then snap together to color coordinate with the clickers!

Photo Colors 🎨

When I open the .3mf file in BambuStudio, I'm getting "Processing model 'Base - x3.stl' with more that 1M triangle could be slow. It is highly recommended to simplify the model." (also for x4 and x5) Should I leave it as is, or let it simplify?

I know this is an older post, but I'm printing these for my nephews so they can figure out which clicker is best for them. When I open this 3mf file in Bambu Studio, all of the objects are the same color pink. Am I missing something?

These are designed to be printed in single color and then snapped together to make a custom color and size clicker. Just print a starting, middle and end piece and then hook them together! This cuts down on multimaterial purge :)

That makes sense for the single pieces, but the 3mf file includes the 3, 4, and 5 pieces too and those are all single color. I can’t figure out why anyone would want to print a row of 5 of the same color, so I assumed they were supposed to be pre-painted. I was also confused about the double rows - I don’t want to use 10 switches for 2 rows of 5 - I was hoping to have a single row of 5 that was pre-painted, but even a single row that could attach like you said would be great! I have a lot of nephews and 10 switches per nephew is out of my budget! πŸ™ˆπŸ«£

Oh haha, the 3mf ones should be easilly paintable with the smart fill tool. It's been so long on these, ive forgotten. If you want a single row, check out the Jazzy clickers. They have a single row option but only go from 1x1 to 1x5. You also cant change the color of the bases but you could do a straight color black or white and then make the colors of the caps the different colors
