Hiiiii! This pack is one that has actually been requested by family and friends numerous times—but I’m pretty sure a few of you have asked for something like this too! The Flutterby Fidget Pack includes some super cute butterfly clickers in a mix of sizes. I originally designed the multi-clicker with just the wings clicking (4-clicky), but the non-clicking center felt a bit off—so I added a 5-clicky version where everything clicks! Also added a bumby center option for more of a sensory feel to keep things interesting. I’m so excited to share these and hope you love them! 🦋⭐🌸🦋

Flutterby Fidgets Multi-Pack can be found HERE!

Like most of my designs, this is a clicky design that requires a mechanical keyboard switch to make the clicky part. These models feature a universal base design which has been tested with many keyboard switches and 99% of them work! I have an up to date list of verified clickers with links you can find HERE. This design should be compatible with most MX style keyboard switches, however, the two metal contacts on the bottom of the switch must be clipped off flush (or folded over) to ensure the switch seats properly in the base (this is a destructive process).

This pack contains 3 unique base designs and 11 caps. Each base comes in the standard 7mm, 3.5mm diameter and blank keychain configuration.

Photo Colors 🎨

Pink - Kingroon Pink

Red - Ender Red

Purple - Polyterra PLA Lavender Purple

Teal - Elegoo Sea Green PLA

3D Printing Settings:

Layer Height: 0.2mm (recommended)

External Perimeter (Outer Wall): 0.33mm (recommended)

First Layer Extrusion Width (Initial Layer Line Width): 0.35mm (recommended)

Only one wall on first layer: True (recommended)

Scale: 100% (Everything is modeled with tight tolerances and should not need to be resized)

Orientation: Print the caps face down so you have a smooth surface for clicking! (recommended for flat)

NOTE: I've found the best way to get the most crisp details on these clickers is to start with the smallest details first and work up from there. Here is the order I recommend after LOTS of trial and error:

Small Detail

Medium Detail

Everything Else (Base Colors)

I've also found hitting the print with a heat gun right before the main body color starts printing will eliminate any little strings that can cause blemishes on the final design (flat designs ONLY)

⚠️WARNING⚠️ - This pack requires very good bed adhesion to ensure the best possible results for your finished clicker. It is recommended to clean your bed with soap and water before printing or whatever your specific printer manufacturer recommends for a deep bed clean!

Stay Pawsitive! 🐾

I haven't even printed these yet and they are my favorites. I love butterflies!

Maria

OMG!!! I love these so much. I can’t wait to print them out. I was gonna print something else out tonight, but I think I’m gonna work on this. I love butterflies!!!! 🦋🦋🦋

Josefine Friis

Any chance for some tractors or tires or other cool boyish designs 😍😍😍 or maybe just some worms / caterpillars to go with the butterflies 🤣

Annette Shade

wanted to let all the one color printer people know you can edit your color and make the details a different color. I just did the single one in two colors!!! but it won't let me add the pic for you to see

Spreadcamp

My switches don't seem to fit the large butterfly with the raised dots. Haven't tried printing the other large butterfly yet. The small one is fine though snaps in nicely like I'm used to. Switches I'm using at the moment are Outemu Blue.

Pawpular Prints

Hi. That’s super odd because I just confirmed that both sizes of butterflies use the exact same switch insert. Are you positive that the switch is oriented the correct way in each insert? The switch and insert hole is slightly rectangular so it will fit two ways and not the other two.

Spreadcamp

Yup, it's the correct way. I print the bodies as flushies, maybe something went wrong somehow. Though the little ones were on the same build plate and print job and are fine so I dunno how that might happen. I'll try a dedicated print and report back

Spreadcamp

Ok the dedicated print of it was perfectly fine. Really not sure what happened to the flushie one! So I guess false alarm, sorry about that!

Xtrmgolfr

Printed a bunch as a gift for a friends daughter and they loved them!

Rebecca Saenz

Hello. Glad I found you. I have printed a couple designs. I could not figure out the back and front of the small butterfly. Would I need to print another file ?

Pawpular Prints

Hi! I don’t quite understand your issue? Are you having issues with the caps? And if so are you trying to print flat or raised caps?

Rebecca Saenz

Wanting to know how to print the raises cap. (Bottom part). The 6 pieces were all the same height

Alex Asmis

What kind of keychain hardware would you recommend for the ones with the holes?

Pawpular Prints

We use a variety of keychains for the different bases. You can find most of these on amazon or I can send links if you have issues finding! -Small Keychain (7mm) - 7mm jump ring is used -Large Keychain (3.5mm Diameter) - bead chains up to 3.5mm in diameter -XL Keychain (1in Diameter) - these fit either a 1in binder ring or the bead chains referred to above! Hopefully this helps?

Louise Kent

I’m having an issue with the smaller butterfly with the raised caps. They don’t seem to sit flush so when they’re not pressed down there is a visible gap between the base and the cap. Printed at recommended settings

Pawpular Prints

Hmm, that sounds like the clicker is not sitting flush, is installed incorrectly, still has metal leads on the back, or it's just not fully pressed into the base. There shouldn't be any gap between the base and the cap if everything is installed correctly. If you have discord, you could send a picture in the #help channel and we could better help diagnose the issue!

Louise Kent

I’ll try and find you and send a picture. It’s the only one of yours that I’ve run into problems with so far. Everything is clicked in, the right way round and the leads have been snipped off

Louise Kent

I have no idea how to use discord. It won’t let me send you a message

Pawpular Prints

I tried to send you a message from the #help channel. It should show up as a red dot on the left hand side
