Thank you to everyone who joined the live lesson, and for all the great questions! The real-time pre-lesson session is available here. The reference Image is attached below.

Recommended supplies for this workshop:

Oil paint: Any white (I'll be using Flake), Ivory Black, Yellow Ochre, and either Vermillion or Cadmium Red Light (there is absolutely no need to purchase both, but whichever one you pick, it's highly recommended to buy the genuine pigment and not a replacement)

Oil Painting Paper (or any ready-to-paint canvas) coated with any Umber as shown here, or any watercolor paper coated with Amber Shellac as shown here . Suggested sizes: 8.5" x 10.5" or 8" x 10" or 6.5" x 8"

A selection of natural Bristle brushes and a selection of nylon brushes or other soft alternative (sizes 2, 4, and 6 are recommended)

Solvent options: Gamsol or Lavender Spike Oil

Solvent alternatives: Linseed oil + Calcium Carbonate as shown here and explained here

Medium options: Liquin or Galkyd Lite or Neo Meglip (I may use all 3)

Artist Tape
