House of Alpha Chapter 27: Witch (Patreon)

"Witches?!" You gasp in shock.

Momo lurched forward her hands out, wide orbs shooting to the door and then to you. "K-Keep your voice down."

"Please." Inumaki added.

"Sorry sorry- I just...I didn't know you were witches." You spoke truthfully. You were indeed shocked to your core. That BIG detail was seen nowhere within the story.

"Well..." Inumaki continued. "We are witches but don't worry we renounce our abilities."

"You surrendered your powers? Why?"

"It was the only way to... protect ourselves."

You nodded with a soft 'oh'. That would explain why their characters are on the 'weaker' side. They never battle with you and they are always just seen as retainers that take care of the mansion. Forever servants. Who would have known they had much more to offer? It made you unhappy to know that you didn't get to see them in their true nature.

"I'm sorry." You offered them.

Momo cocked her head to the side, "Why? You didn't do anything."

"No...But it makes me feel bad that both of you had to hide who you truly are. Even with your powers, I believe you guys would have used your tools for good and not evil."

They gave you a relieving smile.

"Thank you ...Raven."

"Come now~" You sit up leaning against the side of the tub, "Tell me what powers you guys had." You ask excitedly.

Inumaki looked at you with a raised brow, "You aren't at all concerned that your mark was by us?"

"No." You shook your head. "I know you guys didn't do it. Like I said. witches or not, it doesn't change who you are. You're still Momo and Toge to me."

The white-haired beta released a playful chuckle, "You are taking this much better than I expected."

You share a soft giggle with him, admiring the way his face brightened. It's the first time you have seen him emit a genuine laugh. He had always been so quiet and aloof, but now it was like you were seeing him for who he truly was.

He looked excited to tell you about his powers. "My ability was being able to tell someone what to do."

Momo began to giggle reminiscing the good old days, "Haha oh yeah~ He had to talk in food terms until he learned how to control it!"

You gasp, "What? That's so cool!"

Toge lightly blushed, "It became difficult at times, especially growing up. My elders had to wear magic hearing gear so I wouldn't command them to give me what I wanted."

Spoiled little Inumaki with chubby cheeks popped up in your head and it was the cutest thing ever. "Haha~ So like all you had to say was... sit down and people would do it?"

Toge nodded, "Whatever I commanded. I could possess a whole crowd if I wanted to. Whoever could hear my voice.”

"Woah~ That's a strong technique! What was yours Momo?"

"Well~" Momo perked up proudly. "My power was pretty cool too! I could control objects with and without curse energy."

"Yet, she used her powers to mainly fly around on a broom."

"Like a proud witch thank you very much!" Momo pouted crossing her arms. "I'm not ashamed of who I am..." Her body seemed to sag a bit. "...I'm not the problem... the world is! No one would see me...all they would see is a witch... that needed to be killed... before it was too late. That's why I apologized to you, Raven...I let rumors make you into a bad person before I actually met you, just like people do with witches."

You let out a little snort, boy if only she knew.

"Oh~ Well I did have a pretty mean streak so don't worry...I just wanted to do better you know? I had a change of heart... and you guys were kind enough to allow me to show you that. I thank you for believing in me and even sharing with me such a deep secret. Ah! Is... there a way for you to get your powers back?"

"Yeah...but that would defeat the purpose of getting rid of them in the first place."

You slapped your hand on your chest, "I would like for you guys to get your powers back, and as prime omega, I want to push for a world where witches can be free."

The two shared shocked expressions.

"That- you would do that?"

"Of course!"

"No, don't. People would be too afraid."

"They could even suspect you as a witch! Especially since you have dark magic! Raven, you would be putting yourself in a line of fire you don't want to mess with."

"But." You pointed with one finger in the air, "I also have light magic so what would they say about that hm?"

"..." Momo opened her mouth and then paused thinking about it.

"See-"

"They would say we were controlling you." Inumaki interjected.

Momo snapped her fingers while nodding, "Yeah! That. No matter how you shape the story, they will only reflect, reflect."

"Okay but controlling me to do what? Saving people? If we help and make the world a better place then they would have to see you guys as good!"

"I don't know...I'm too scared to put my trust in people. I trust you... and that's as far as I will go. I wouldn't even tell our alphas. They may think we were the cause of your mark."

“No! That’s absurd!”

"Whenever something bad happens a witch is to blame," Inumaki spoke sadly. "It's the unfortunate truth. Good or bad."

"Mhm, my mom told me a cousin of hers was killed because a man murdered his pack and blamed her for his crime. The village could never understand why any husband would do such a thing so... they believed him. Even though the real reason was due to the wife wanting to leave him for another within the pack. It didn't matter though, she was burned anyway. No one listened to her pleas."

"Oh my..." Your heart ached for them and all the ones who had fallen for wrongful allegations. You think back to the witch you fought in the game. Her name was unknown. Her title was just- Witch- You felt she was a bad witch, the reason other witches have a terrible reputation. She was going on a rampage killing everything and everyone in sight. Destroying an entire town. You had to stop her, or more people would die. When you meet her she says,

'Have you come to perish?'

-And then she proceeded to attack you. There was no talking to her, and you couldn't understand why she was killing everyone. Some people were just inherently bad like that, or maybe something happened. You would never know.

But - if Tengen could get everyone to understand dark mages better, maybe you could get them to understand witches. You had two good ones right here.

"You know, I don't understand the pain you guys have dealt with or the fear you may harbor but I will do my best to help you guys in any way I can."

Momo let out a snort, "We didn't tell you about this for you to help us Raven. We have accepted our place and how the world views us. We told you about our past so we can get you some help."

"Oh! I forgot." You chuckle lightly looking at your hand.

"We can take you to our hometown..it's the best place to look... but we need to do it discreetly... we don't want anyone to know."

"I see, I'm sure if I tell our alphas they wouldn't share this information with anyone, especially if it concerns my well-being."

"Aaah... Have you seen Alpha Gojo? He can barely keep a secret for two seconds."

"Yes~ I know I know, but this is different. This has someone's life on the line. Someone who can help me. I know our alphas can be silly at times but trust me when I say they can behave when it counts. We can create a small party of just us and no one else." Of course, that's how you travel in the game anyway. Momo and Toge would just be added supporting characters of your group.

"I...don't know..."

"I want you guys to feel comfortable, so it's up to you. I can figure something else out."

Momo hummed. "I would rather it just be the three of us...but I can understand traveling with the prime omega can be dangerous. What do you think?"

Your attention was directed to Toge as he put in his two scents.

"To be fair... our alphas know that it can be dangerous for anyone who helps you, that's why they haven't put up the wanted posters. They had decided to use trusted spies to search for a witch doctor so they wouldn't create any unnecessary attention. I believe they may be... trustworthy, and if we travel discreetly then we should be fine right?"

You pop up with a good idea, "Maybe we can even say we are traveling to see Shoko!"

There was a pause as everyone digested the newly thought-out plan.

"Perhaps... that could work..." Inumaki hummed.

You grinned, "Alright! So where is it that we have to go?"

"It's a bit of a far journey...but we would have to go to Shapuro."

Shapuro. The city up north. Near Kushoto where the villains reside. You had to go there. Thinking upon the game the first attack will occur in less than a week in Aika. If you travel north you might just make it to save the villagers and get to the city! All in one swoop!

"It's perfect!"

"Oh~ Do you like Shapuro?" Momo questioned.

"I've never been but I would love to see it! I heard that it's a lovely city, and they have the best shows."

"Ah! The plays put on there are unbelievable! We most certainly have to see at least one!" Momo was excited to travel back to her hometown.

"And the food there is so much better."

“The rice balls you mean?”

“Yes, that but also…!”

The two began to tell you different things about their home in excited chatter.

As you listened and agreed to everything they wanted you to do you couldn't help but hope that the Momo and Inumaki in the game were able to have a happy life and visit their family.

You wanted to make sure they did this time around. You wanted to make sure everyone could have a happy life. What were you doing sulking over a spot on your hand? Life doesn't stop now...and if it does, well you wanted to do as much good as possible.

That's all you could do.

You sat in the meeting room, sitting at the round table. Your betas standing beside you with their hands clasped in front of them or behind their back. You could smell their nervousness. You kept a level head, hoping your confidence in your alphas would serve them some relief. You didn't think they would flip out about the two beta's secret and if they did you were ready to protect them at all costs.

Within the conference room, everything is confidential. A barrier protects it so not even the all-seeing ball can work in this room. In other words, this is the best place to speak about sensitive topics.

Kusakabe opened the door as Gojo walked in with his hands behind his head, Getou close behind him.

"Alphas." You nodded toward them as they sat down across from you.

"Good afternoon sweetheart, you look a lot better today."

"Yes, I feel much better."

"What's with the emergency meeting?" Gojo questioned right off the bat.

"I will explain once everyone is here." You saw how their eyes shifted to your betas and then to each other. They settled into their seats, waiting patiently, as Momo and Inunaki served them some tea and snacks.

Nanami came in next. "Hello little bird, how did you sleep? Are you alright?" The blonde couldn't help his worry for you but you gave him a reassuring smile.

"I'm fine Nanami, please sit." You gestured for him to take his seat.

Finally, your last two alphas entered. Sukuna walked in with his usual cocky stride as Toji walked more with his head down. His whole demeanor looked off. He looked like a sulking bear.

"Alphas." You gave them a warm smile hoping that Toji would know that you did not harbour any negative emotions toward him.

"Omega." Toji gave you a glance before sitting in his seat. His gaze never met your own even when you searched for his. There was a slight odor coming off of him, you could smell it from your seat, yet no one pointed it out. It seemed they were willing to allow him to stew in his self-pity. They may have the same ideals as Gojo and Getou, he deserved this.

Did he though? You didn’t think so. Not to this degree at least. You would need to talk to him afterward.

"What's with this meeting?" Sukuna questioned still standing up, his arms crossed. It's hard for him to sit still when he's restless.

You cleared your throat with a fist to your lips. "So~" You began clasping your hands in front of you upon the table. “As you know, we are looking for a witch doctor...I may know of one… but considering how serious this is we need to be mindful of their safety. So confidentiality is very important." Your gaze shifted to Gojo as you let it linger on the white-haired alpha.

"Why are ya lookin' at me!"

"You can tend to... say a lot at times. Especially when drunk."

Now everyone looked at Gojo as he scoffed, "Gossip about silly things, this is a sensitive subject! Which let me just say if you should be looking at anyone it should be those two." He gestured toward the betas who stiffened.

They were your servants, they were never really included in anything super important until now. They may not trust them as much as you trust them.

Getou leaned into his fist, resting his elbow on the table. "Yes, I don't understand why your betas have anything to do with this. Shouldn't it stay between us? No offense dears."

"None taken.” Toge was quick to understand but Momo seemed to pout a bit.

“What? We can’t help?”

“The fewer the people the better.”

“I mean we do bathe her and take care of her, this is nothing new! We want the same thing as you guys!”

You nodded agreeing with Momo, “I trust them Getou, so please put your trust in me.”

He sighed deeply, “Understood my dear.”

"Wait I got a better question." Sukuna cut in, "How the fuck did you just so happen to know, about a witch doctor?"

You let out an awkward laugh as you shrugged lightly, "Well...that sort of thing needs to be kept as a secret. Like I said earlier- and I cannot stress enough- It is important that anyone involved in this- and I mean anyone- needs to be protected no matter-"

"They're witches aren't they?" Sukuna stated.

This got everyone's heads to perk up, even Toji's.

“We don’t have our powers!”

"Are you kidding?" Gojo looked a bit more tense now- they all did. Some of them looked like they wanted to snatch you away from them.

"Is this true?"

"Why didn't you guys tell us?" Nanami questioned in slight anger.

"Well, that's because...we were afraid.

Gojo tossed up his hands, "Yeah right. They could be lying and they could be behind the mark!”

"Absolutely not mister!" You shouted standing up as you slammed your hands on the table. "Yes they are witches and they hid it for good reason! You know what happens to them! It's the same reason we are having issues finding a witch doctor and I refuse- for any- any of you to treat my betas any other type of way. If anyone even as so much looks at them funny I swear I will ban you from my vagina."

"What about your-"

"Everything! Do. I. Make. Myself. Clear?"

The room looked quite taken back from your stern declaration. Looking at each other before allowing themselves to relax. This was your defiant decision and they weren’t going to fight you on it.

"I can't hear you."

"Yes ma'am." They spoke in unison.

You stood upright with a slight smile, "Good. Now, Toge show them the map."

Inumaki moved to the table as he rolled out a scroll. It showed the entire map for the game. It was really just one big island and then a few smaller islands around. Kushoto- home of the villains was at the top of the map while Tokyoto was in the middle of the map. Unfortunately, the place you needed to get to was closer to the villains. You hoped you didn’t run into them.

You point out the route you had come up with, "I think it would be best if we travel from here to the house of omegas, then we can go through the mountains to get to Aika and then cross the great bridge to get to Shapuro. We will also tell people that we are seeing Shoko, so that no one questions us. Our traveling will also be discreet so we don’t bring in any attention. What do you guys think?" You paused as they looked at the map, analyzing the route you just marked out.

You had thought it would be a solid plan. You were killing three birds with one stone. You will see Dove on your way north, then get to Aika hopefully just in time to stop the curses from killing the villagers, and then set off to Shapuro. The only thing that might throw a wrench in your plans is the timing of Aika. You might arrive there a day too early. You had to make sure you arrived right on time. It was crucial. Not too early not too late.

"I don't see a problem with it." Gojo shrugged, he barely looked at the map. He was probably just going off of whatever you wanted. Lazy boy.

Getou agreed. "Same, it's the most direct path to the town."

That's two out of five.

You looked toward the blonde as he rubbed his chin. He then drew a different path with his finger. "What if we cut through the middle instead? Then we can go to Kyotoma and cut straight north skipping the other stops."

Ah- well, there was that. "Well... because... um..." You fidgeted thoughtfully.

"She wants to see her friend." Sukuna snorted.

Oh alpha your green eye is most definitely showing.

"Yes- I do wish to see her... it's been so long." You nodded solemnly.

Nanami slightly frowned, "You can see her when we come back. I believe we shouldn't wait to find this witch doctor. If... there is one there. Not saying that... your betas are lying but... I'm just trying to cover all our spells."

"I know- but is it really that big of a difference?" You question him a bit.

"She does have a point. I think it only is maybe hours of a difference not days." Getou offered.

"And- and! Let’s not forget about the monsters. Cutting through the middle we will run into more mobs. If we go my route. Fewer mobs and they are weaker."

"Ah~ I see, my apologies, your route would probably be more optimal."

Mentally you cheered- "Great! Then how soon can we leave?"

“Let us get ourselves situated and I believe we can leave by tonight.” Nanami looked at the others to see if they were alright with the plan.

“What about them?” Sukuna pointed at your betas.

“They will be coming too. Only the people in this room will know about this. It stays between us. Okay?”

“Alright, let’s get a move on so we can get going. The sooner the better.” Getou stood up with a stretch.

“I can’t believe we have to go all the way to Shapuroooo~ it’s so cold up there.” Gojo pouted.

“Around this time it’s not as chilly and they also have good bom boms.” Inumaki smiled as the alpha popped up excitedly.

“Really?!”

“Yes they are super sweet.”

“Ugh, too sweet.” Momo snorted.

“There’s no such thing!”

“Not for you anyway.”

You enjoyed seeing your betas talk with your alphas. You knew their witch origins wouldn’t put a divide between them. The alphas were too cocky to be afraid of anything.

A blessing or a curse…the world will never know.

“Did you hear that Toji?” You asked the alpha as he stood. Bom bom’s were like a candied meatball donut, a snack that both toji and Gojo enjoyed.

“Sounds good, can’t wait to try them.” His words were quick and to the point as he walked toward the door.

“W-wait…can I talk to you… for a minute.”

Your alphas went rigid, eyes cutting toward Toji as he faltered in his steps.

“Um…sure.” He stepped back as the others began to leave to make arrangements, everyone except Sukuna who stood back.

“I would like to talk to just Toji, please…” you whispered.

“Not going to happen omega.”

“Sukuna-“

“I would feel much better if he were here.” Toji spoke with his gaze on the floor.

“Okay…” you mused for a moment, not even knowing what to say. Fuck- he was taking this harder than Getou. You walked around the table to stand in front of the big alpha. “Toji…” your thoughts drifted as you took a deep breath, was that iron you smelt? “Is that blood?” You looked toward Sukuna as his eyes just stared at you.

Neglecting to tell you.

Your brows furrowed looking toward Toji who was leaning against the table, his gaze still refusing to meet yours. Why were none of them answering you?

You began to use your nose, investigating where the blood was coming from. You walked toward Toji as he took a step back. It was him, he was bleeding. Why?

“Toji, let me see your wound please, you’re hurt let me heal you.”

“I don’t want you to heal it.”

“Toji stop being so stubborn for crying out loud.” You rounded him quickly ducking under his hand that tried to grab you. Pulling his shirt up as he hissed.

“Ah!” You gasp seeing the red lines that decorated his back. “T-Toji who did this…” you looked up to Sukuna who was now also avoiding your eyes.

WHAT THE FLYING FUCK!

“Sukuna did-did you do this?”

Sukuna growled throwing his hand toward Toji, “He asked me to.”

“Toji! I-I just-why?!” You pushed his shirt up more, his poor back must hurt. Some of the cuts were deep.

You didn’t need to ask why, didn’t even need him to tell you why. You knew why. He did it to punish himself. You acted upon your omega instincts. A whine escaped your throat as you leaned forward and began to lick his wounds, crying as you did so. You could feel your light energy buzz as you willed for his wounds to heal. With each lick, it got better.

“Omega stop crying it’s okay.” Sukuna grabbed you but you slapped his hands away.

“No! It’s- it’s not!” You whined unable to keep your emotions in check.

Toji turned around to try to consult you, “Raven I deserved it.”

“Stop!” You sniffle as you hug Toji tightly, wetting his shirt. “Please don’t do this ever-ever again Toji! Please don’t hurt y-yourself for me!”

“Sh~ don’t cry, sweet girl…” Toji hugged you rubbing your back gently.

You looked up at him with a blurry gaze, “I’ll do my best to get myself ready for you but until then you can use my mouth okay.”

Toji choked as he began to cough, throwing you toward Sukuna. Your other alpha grabbed your shoulders as he looked down at you with a shake of his head.

“You sure do know how to get yourself fucked.”

“S-sorry.” You apologized quickly as Toji tried to cover his nose.

“No, I’m Sorry baby girl…I do my best to behave but you make it quite difficult.” He sat on the table hunched over, his pants tented. He placed a hand over himself to hide his erection. “Get her out of here Sukuna.”

You tried to go to him again but Sukuna held you tightly. “I'm not jerking him off so I suggest you leave .” He hissed. Turning you around he opened the door and dragged you out.

“Bye Toji!” You yelled trying to look back at him, but the door shut.

You pout as Sukuna walks away from the conference room and then places you upright on your feet.

“Go get ready to leave, we have a long journey ahead of us.”

“Please,” you pleaded putting your hand upon his chest. “…use some herbs to heal Toji’s wounds…”

“He doesn’t want that, let him handle this his way.”

You release a huff, glaring at him, “Did you have to hit him so hard? I bet you liked it.”

Sukuna growled as he stepped forward, you quickly took a step back but he snatched you and threw you against the wall.

You looked up at him with a defiant expression.

“You aren’t going to put this shit on me omega. If you’d stretch your pussy in the first place, we wouldn’t be in this situation. Now would we.”

Ouch- that hurt. You blinked a few times trying to stop your eyes from stinging, “I know…s-so I should be the one that gets punished…not Toji.”

Sukuna chuckled looking you up and down as he got closer to your face, “You sure do love to protect him. Is daddy your favorite alpha?”

You rolled your eyes in exaggeration, “I-“

Sukuna grabbed you around your neck giving you a light squeeze, “Roll your eyes again and see what happens.”

You stared at him, a moment of silence as you thought about the warning in his tone.

“What will happen?” You question playing with fire.

Sukuna grinned, “You wanna find out?”

Your heart was racing, and a part of you might just want to. A bratty voice saying ‘yes I do’.

“Aye!”

The stare-down was broken as Gojo slammed the wall right next to you with a pout. “She owes me buddy and Nanami said I had to wait since we have to get ready to leave so if I can’t get my dick wet you can’t either!”

Oh yeah~ you owed Gojo and Getou. You should have known it was going to be sexual. One tracked minded alphas.

Sukuna snorted releasing your neck, “If I catch any more of your attitude then I’m bending you over.”

For some reason, this felt different than your punishment, this seemed more playful than anything. It felt like a dance with your enemy, who is also your lover. So you let your tongue go, “Hm, don’t give me any reason to.” You smile as Sukuna lunges for you but Gojo puts a hand to his chest.

You held back a snicker as you watched the alpha growl at you but you didn’t fear him like you did before. It was a bit more enticing.

Gojo pushed Sukuna away, “Go get ready before you piss Nanami off again.”

Sukuna stepped back tossing you a glare before he stalked away.

You watched him go, biting your lip. You just knew he was fuming. Then you looked at Gojo who was grinning at you. You narrowed your eyes. He smelt like sour candy.

“Gojo did you just lie?”

“I sure did cutey.” He poked at your nose as you laughed.

“Why?”

“Well my lovely little bird, after our incident last night I realized that you wouldn’t even be able to take me. So I did a little research and here’s what I’ve found~.” He pulled out a little pink book and opened it for you.

Your eyes scanned the title on the page…
