House of Alphas Chapter 73: Hold The Door (Patreon)

Your secret meeting time was coming to an end. You had questioned Utahime about ‘kelenal’ but she nor Gojo knew what that word meant. You had figured maybe Yaga would be able to provide you with more info since he gave you the quest in the first place.

“You two go first.” Utahime began to blow out the candles while putting her Shoko jacket back in its place.

"Let's get you to bed missy." Gojo slid his hand upon your hip. Before you could go you gasped turning around.

“-Oh! I almost forgot. The box… how did you guys open it?”

Utahime seemed surprised by your sudden question but then realized what you said, “Oh… we had the key… funny enough…I had just given it to Yoshinobu… just as you entered.”

You clicked your tongue, muttering under your breath, “Fucking knew it…” then you spoke up, “…what is it used for?”

You already knew that the priests probably use it to catch people like Pokemon.-

“It’s a prison, but it might as well be a death box with many souls trapped inside.“

You made a show of how ‘shocked’ you were, “I was… unaware the priests had such a thing!”

“Same.” Gojo added.

You made sure to point out this information because this sort of thing was not spoken in the game. The MC was made to believe that Kenjaku just so happened to have the prison box. So how- oh how did they get it? You were almost positive that if the elders plan to use the prison box later they would spew some bullshit about how it was 'stolen' or 'taken'. Even though you could bet they either gave it to the enemy or somehow got it to them without seeming involved. They wanted to take down your white-haired alpha by any means necessary.

They feared and hated Gojo Satoru the most.

They were and will be their own downfall.

The omega continued speaking upon the information she just gave you, “...It’s one of the many things that they hide…I am the only one other than them that knows of this….if they find out that I told you…”

You could hear her worry loud and clear, “We won’t do anything that could put you in danger.”

“I thank you...I won’t be able to give you a proper goodbye when you leave so I’ll do it now… have a safe journey and...be safe…”

“You as well… don't do anything to bring any attention to yourself...we will get through this...”

Utahime smiled softly, "I hope for that day to come...Gojo seems to put a lot of faith into you..." She looked toward your alpha with a little nod, "...I had never thought to see him find such a lovely omega that could stand him."

"He's not too bad." You joke making the omega giggle.

"I'm still here guys."

"Yes-You two should hurry on now, we've spent much too much time down here."

You thought Utahime was just going to give you a bow but she had come up and hugged you. You patted her back gently as you returned the gesture. She seemed to melt into your embrace, a soft pur tickling her throat.

You were surprised by the sound but so was she. She popped back with a gasp- “Oh! So sorry!” she blushed shyly. "-It's just... I feel we can become great friends someday... when all of this is settled."

“I already see you as an ally... and perhaps we can toast with a drink when this is all over.” you give her a soft smile realizing the poor woman was probably touch starve. She had no way of showing and receiving affection.

Not even with other omegas.

If the grand priest could put her in a glass case they would keep her there forever to maintain her ‘holiness’

Gojo had pulled you to his side, a hint of jealousy touching your nose. “Paws off my omega she's mine!"

“G-Gojo I don't want your omega!”

"How dare you! She's perfect! How could you not!"

"What? Do you WANT me to want your omega?!"

"You are stupid to not want her… wait but you can't have her."

You snorted at Utahime's incredulous look as she tried to calculate how to even begin to argue with your silly alpha. It was a lose-lose situation.

"Girl don't even try."

You were afraid she was going to have a stroke due to Gojo.

Leaving the cave you and Gojo had gone a different way while Utahime went the opposite. There was a drawing of an eye on the ground that Gojo had to channel into. The light glowed blue under you and then you were teleported back to where you found the secret passageway under the bush. The teleportation made your stomach feel funny. The sensation felt akin to when you are on a rollercoaster and it drops.

Luckily you didn't puke.

Gojo peaks his head out, making sure the close is clear before signaling for you to follow.

The two of you moved quietly together, hiding when need be and sneaking to your room. Your stealth skills were on point tonight. You felt relief as you and Gojo got to your destination.

“My lady…” Gojo whispered as he opened the door for you.

You paused looking toward where you believe the voice was coming from.

“What’s wrong?” Your alpha questioned.

“Kelenal… I heard someone shouting it I have to figure out who it-oh…”

Gojo had swept you into your room, shutting the door as he pressed his ear to it. “Someone is coming…” he spoke softly.

You leaned against the door, listening as the guard's footsteps echoed within the hall as they patrolled the area.

“What about someone shouting?” Gojo continued the conversation as the two of you waited.

“When I was sneaking around I was trying to find the voice who was saying that word I had told you about… but it's that way.” you pointed in the other direction.

Gojo gave you a little frown, “I’m not sure if you are going to have enough time to get there without being spotted. The sun is already starting to come up… If they see you walking around they may wonder if your punishment was good enough…”

You felt dread come over you, “I know but…No… I hadn't... I wasn't able to find out who was shouting… what if they need help?”

“Wouldn’t they have been screaming help instead of kamanji?”

“No-ha it's kelenal… I think that’s what they are saying. But I can hear it even when I'm in here… when I use my dark energy.”

“Hm…”

The two of you paused as the guard moved right past your room and continued on. Their steps getting quieter and quieter now.

“Maybe it's a spell?” you continue.

“Never heard of a spell like that, we should ask Mr know it all.”

“Getou? My thoughts exactly.”

“Pfft-!” Gojo started laughing as you slapped him trying to quiet him down- while also laughing.

Of course, Gojo was referring to Nanami.

“Shh shh~you are going to get us caught.” you chuckled as the giggle fit quieted down, back into stealth mode.

“Ooor~.” Gojo began but then stopped, “…uh… on second thought…”

“What?”

“I was gonna say we can stay another night… but I'm sure you are ready to leave. I know I am.”

You nodded your head, knowing that you and your alphas could not stay here any longer or else someone might pop off and an all-out holy war begins.

But your side quest…

This was a very important quest that you needed to complete. Time was running out. Or maybe this was what Yaga wanted you to hear, and that was it. But what if it was something you needed to see as well? You wish you had your quest log that showed you when a quest was completed or what you needed to do!

Why was life so complicated?

Gojo cupped your cheek, trying to smooth your stress with a thumb. “Sweetheart, it’s ok. I know you are trying to save everyone but what about yourself?”

You relaxed your tense expression as you sighed, “It was Yaga who wanted me to find something...something secret, this wasn’t even in the story Gojo…I feel it is very important….just like the witches, I feel I need to do this.”

Gojo kissed his teeth, “Ok…fine…I have an idea… but you aren't going to like it…”

“Why…How do you know?”

“…”

“How do you know!?”

Gojo was in fact right.

You hated this.

You felt humiliated.

You were crawling on all fucking fours while Gojo walked beside you.

Like some sort of dog!

This was another form of punishment for disobedient omegas.

Another way to shame them.

You felt sick to your stomach, your inner feminist wanted to chop off some alpha cocks and shove it down their throats- You were starting to think maybe blowing up this entice place wouldn't be so bad but then you remember Utahime and Yaga wouldn't like that- well you don't know where Yaga stands on the matter but you could only assume he feels the same.

They don't want to start a war, those damn pacifists.

So you swallowed the fire down while trying to focus on your mission.

You had to solve this mystery and figure out what your next action needed to be. Perhaps this person who is chanting this word needed your aid or it was a clue for another mission.

Whatever it was, your time was running out.

So be it if you had to degrade yourself in this way.

You had a higher purpose.

The guards seemed to appreciate your show, some even commented on how nice it was to see you behaving.

Gojo would just let out a fake laugh and pet your head gently.

You kept your head down for the most part, avoiding all eye contact and making yourself appear as submissive as possible.

Even though Gojo seemed to be leading the way it was actually you. Gojo would go straight and then pause at an intersection so you could listen to which way to go.

Your knees and hands started to hurt but the closer you got the more driven you became, and the easier it was to ignore the bullshit.

You ended up in the front yard, exactly where you entered this shitty place. The morning was starting to peak, and soon everyone would be here to pray.

Sitting back on your feet you pulled the energy to your ears-

“KELENAL-KELENAL!”

It was a woman’s voice, screaming over and over again. The voice echoed so loud it was as if she were shouting it within your ear. One word came to your mind…Wrath. It sounded as though it were full of anger and pain.

You perked up looking around, but to your naked eye, you could not see who it was.

Gojo knelt next to you, reaching down to rub your thigh comfortingly, “Are you okay?” he whispered while looking over your head to observe the guards by the gate.

“It’s here... The voice…” you whisper back. Now was the time for the next step. You pulled your dark energy to your eyes…” Vizi” your vision charged with darkness. You swiftly looked around as your gaze searched for who was shouting but you still didn’t see anyone. Then you landed on the very golden statue of Yuki, you could see red tears streaming from her eyes.

You had to blink a few times to make sure you were seeing what you were seeing.

You couldn't believe it at first, switching your vision off to see the red tears weren't there and then switching it back on to see that they were. Frozen in place, not a drop to fall, but it still somehow looked wet as if it were fresh.

You crawled closer to the statue, kneeling right before it as you stared at the bloody tears. Cupping your ears with your dark energy you listened.

“KELENAL! KELENAL!” The voice came from the statue, but its lips didn’t move. Now that you were listening it sounded as if the voice was coming from someone gritting their teeth.

You didn’t understand-

“Oi Oi~! I see you guys are out here early for prayer!”

“Aye, mornin Masamichi.” Gojo greeted the other man as he approached the two of you.

You were brought out of your stupor as your vision returned to normal. You looked at the older man as he stared at the statue with his hands perched on his hips.

“Hey? Are you aware of the story of the angel Yuki?” Yaga had questioned but he didn’t wait for an answer, continuing to speak upon it as if you said ‘no’. “It was Yuki who ended the holy war. Through her sacrifice, she had protected this holy ground and continues to protect it to this day. Some say it is her energy that floats around, giving this temple more power. It’s almost like she’s still here…watching us…” near the end, his tone began to drift. Shifting into something more ominous.

Read between the lines.

What he was saying and how he was saying it was the clue that you needed.

She’s still here- watching us.

She’s still here.

Right here in front of you.

Frozen in time.

Since the holy war?

Has to be…

That’s when she ‘sacrificed’ herself but what if she didn’t choose to be sacrificed… what if she was forced?

If you learned anything from being in this game everything you thought you knew wasn’t necessarily true. There was more to the story than what meets the eye.

“Yeah, we know of the story, who doesn’t?” Gojo shrugged not understanding what was happening and what was truly being said.

Yaga let out a hearty chuckle that seemed to sound almost sad, “That is the story, isn’t it? The story that everyone knows…passed down from generation to generation.”

That was the clue that you needed.

The story that everyone knows must be wrong because why was Yuki frozen in time… shouting and crying bloody tears? Why is her fate so horrendous for an angel that protected her people?

This was all wrong.

You moved your gaze from Yaga to the statue before you. “Do you know of the spell Kelenal…Yaga?”

“Kelenal? No sweetheart that is not a spell nor is it a person. Who said that? Perhaps you didn’t hear them right.”

Didn’t hear it right?

He must have also heard Yuki and seen her tears. But he heard something else… but if he heard her too… how would that be possible unless he has dark curse energy too? There was so much information that you were gathering. You had to make all of this click. Yaga was speaking in code- you just hope you were deciphering it correctly.

Gojo furrowed his brow as he looked between you two, but he stayed quiet, realizing that whatever was happening was going right over his head.

Ding~Ding~Ding~

Yaga stretched bouncing left as he twisted his hips and then right, “Ah~ That would be the sound of the morning bell. I should get going, I need to finish my morning duties. It was good to meet you prime omega. I heard you have saved a lot of people during your travels. A friend of those who are even different from you. I hope you continue your great work.”

You bowed your head to Yaga, “It was great to meet you as well sir…until next time.”

“Yes! Until next time! Take care of your omega Gojo!”

“Duh!” Gojo saluted the man with two fingers as more people filed into the area.

The chattering whispers were drowned out by your thoughts.

You dropped your gaze to your knees and hands that were scraped from your crawl. As you watched the blood ooze from your cuts you felt a sort of anger and sadness in your chest.

You had felt a sort of disconnection occur. Disassociating with your surroundings. Your pain could never measure up to what kind of mental and physical torture the angel before you must be feeling.

Trapped-

For so long-

Did the elders know?

Did they know that Yuki was here all this time…

Maybe the better question was did they even care?

Her powers still surge within the area, giving them strength.

They would never relinquish such power.

Power-hungry monsters.

That’s what they were. They were monsters.

You could smell the disgusting scent of Yoshinobu. The smell got stronger as he entered the yard.

You quickly moved to Gojo, grabbing his leg as you hugged him tight and buried your face into his pants.

Gojo rested his hand upon your head as he looked toward the priest.

“Good, she should be frightened.” Yoshinobu chuckled at your reaction, thinking you were hiding from him… thinking you were afraid of him.

However, that couldn’t be further from the truth.

You were clawing at Gojo, digging into the fabric with your nails as you grit your teeth. You had never felt such anger before. It hurt to hold it in but you did. Closing your eyes as you try to ground yourself with your alpha. You could feel your dark curse energy wave around as if it were trying to break free. If you didn’t get yourself in check you were going to backhand this priest with a shadowbolt.

Just as your thoughts began to run away from you Gojo had scooped you up and hugged you to his chest.

He purred softly while rubbing your back. “It’s ok…I know… I know.”

Your alpha could sense your anger, and he understood it.

You hid your face within his neck, his purring helping your tense muscles relax. You let your alpha coddle you. You allowed your mind to drift with his purring. Focusing on that and nothing else. His sweet scent and his gentle caresses. You allowed your mind to let go.

His purring had lured you into a comfortable sleep.

The next time you woke up you found yourself moving. The sway of your body had indicated that you were on a horse, but the hard chest you were against told you someone was holding you.

You breathed softly smelling the sugary smell of your alpha. Fluttering your eyes open you could see you were traveling, the horse in front of you belonging to Nanami. You leaned your head back to blink up at blue eyes.

Gojo flashed you a sweet smile, “Hey sleeping beauty!”

Your lips pulled up into a big smile, “Are we fucking gone?!” leaning to the side you look behind you to see your other alphas behind you, Toji pulling along your horse. In the distance, you could see the shitty tower getting further and further away.

“Hell yeah!”

“Oh thank Tengen!” You hug Gojo tightly while wiggling around in joy. “FINALLY FINALLY!”

Your alpha laughed at your excitement.

Getou rode up next to you, “So sorry darling, I know how much you wanted to say goodbye to the elders-.”

“FUCK NO!” You didn’t even want to joke about it.

Gojo yawned a bit,” If only Toji would have carried me so I could have taken a nap too and missed out on the farewells.”

“You know he’s upset with you for allowing his sweet sweet princess to crawl on the dirty floor!” Getou shouted to him over the loud hooves of the horses.

You realized Nanami had the horses running at full speed, even he knew you wanted to get as far away from that damn tower as soon as possible!

You tuned back into the conversation as Gojo gasped almost appalled by Getou’s statement, “I-I didn’t want that either! But now she’s up! So she can tell you guys what happened!”

“Toji’s upset with you?” You questioned. “Why?”

“Yeah… he didn’t like that your hands and knees got scratched up…”

You looked at your hands, being reminded of your scrapes. “Oh yeah…” You said as you healed yourself up.

“Gojo says you and him had quite the adventure while we were asleep.” Getou commented. “What naughty things did you guys do?”

You couldn’t help but laugh, you were in such a good mood now that you had left the toxic environment. “I’ll tell you all about it when we stop!”

Your pack rode for quite some time. Usually one of your princess alphas would whine about taking a break but not even they made a peep.

It was nice to know everyone understood the assignment.

Everyone pushed on until Nanami whistled and circled his finger into the air.

The horses slowed down, trotting next to each other and then stopping completely.

“Woah…” Gojo hushed his horse as it slid to a halt.

“Thank you for riding with me too.” You pet Gojo’s horse as it shook its head and neighed. Almost as if it were saying ‘’you’re welcome’.

Gojo hopped off his horse first and then helped you get down.

“Ah~ Yes~ Free at last~!” You threw your arms up, and spun around loving the comfort of nature. “-Oh!” You gasped as you were pulled against Toji’s hard chest and he hugged you tight.

“I’m sorry- I’m sorry any of that happened…”

“…T-toji…it’s-“

“it’s not okay…” Nanami interrupted you as he too walked up to you. He placed a soft kiss on your forehead as he shut his eyes, “None of that should have happened. You are our omega, we are supposed to protect you...we failed as your alphas….”

You could see your other alphas looking a bit shocked by Nanami’s statement but then they looked away.

Perhaps they felt as though they too failed you.

“No… none of you failed me! Don’t say that!” You pat Toji’s chest and then reach up to cup Nanami’s cheek. “You guys did everything I had asked you to do. I chose this…but don’t think this is over…we will get our revenge.“

Gojo sniffed as he looked toward the tower with a faraway glare. “Yeah, next time we come back I’m going to kill them all.”

“Yes, we are going to kill them…wait…say that again Gojo…”

“Hm?” Gojo looked confused now thinking he did something wrong, “Isn’t that the plan?”

“No no! It is- but but say it again!” You gestured with your hands excitedly.

“Someone is excited for her first blood… I knew she was a killer…” Sukuna nodded with approval.

“Sukuna hold your horniness- but back to what you said Gojo!”

“We are going to… kill them all?”

You point to enunciate your words while nodding, “Kill-them-all- kill-em-all- She’s not saying kelenal- I wasn’t hearing it right because she can’t really talk! She’s actually saying- kill them all!”

Your other alphas looked a little confused, not understanding what you were referring to.

Gojo nodded with a smile, “Yeah! Yeah!” and then shook his head, “I don’t get it.”

You smacked your forehead.

Chef Note: Sorry it took me so long to write this chapter. I’ve been… having an interesting week. Two weeks? I dunno how long it's been. It’s feel like it’s been forever. But yeah… it's been an interesting time is all I gotta say.
