House of Alphas Chapter 87: First Blood (Patreon)
Content
Your pack walked into the kitchen from the back. There were two entrances, the one that led to the halls and the one that led to the bar area. You figured evacuating the staff was best before starting the fight.
“Prime alphas.” An omega bowed while walking past, but Getou plucked the bottle out of their hands, making them stop in surprise.
“Hmm, perfect, take this to room 200.” Getou stated that after ‘checking’ the bottle.
He returned it, the omega stuttering, “But… sir this-this is for…” He stopped speaking, feeling overwhelmed by your alphas’ presence. He then gulped while nodding, “Yes, prime alpha.”
Nanami snapped his fingers to the rest of the occupants, “Take this food and drinks to room 200.” There was another wave of hesitation, but a growl was the extra kick they needed-“Now.”
The staff picked up whatever was near them, swiftly leaving the way you came in. Some of their peeping eyes grew wide when they noticed the weapons on your backs.
Another great advantage you had.
The inventory worm could hide in Toji’s mouth during the pat-down. So not only did you have your curse energy, but you were also able to equip your weapons. You wouldn’t be surprised if some of the alphas snuck in their own small toys, but you doubt they were aware of the candy trick.
Getou and his informant (who you still didn’t know but had a good guess) knew this underground well, and not even they knew about the candy. It seemed to be something that only Choso was aware of. You will have to find a way to thank him later.
You can hear the rowdy alphas beyond the curtains and smell their growing irritation.
With barely any omegas or betas to help calm them down, they were already out there causing fights and cursing at each other. Truly, you could have allowed them to deal with each other, but sooner or later their anger would turn toward the innocent and, of course, the dead Reggie Star. If they found out he died, the alphas would no doubt try to become alpha of the hill.
“How many omegas and betas?” You questioned Toji as he pushed the flap just a tad.
“A few…” he sniffed. “…we can throw the two behind the bar into the kitchen.”
Nanami spoke softly but sternly, “We need to focus on big attacks. Something that can take out a good bit of them.”
You furrowed your brows, “What about the others? I don’t want to hurt them.”
Sukuna shrugged, “There’s only a few, we can’t save them all.”
The horrified look on your face made Getou butt in, “Well, most of the alphas should be standing and at the bar..the omegas are typically on the ground...so aim high I suppose.”
Gojo added, “Once the fighting starts, the alphas will be more focused on us anyway, and the others should scurry away…”
Toji shifted, getting ready to wield his giant Tessaiga-looking sword, “…If we try to position ourselves between the alphas and the kitchen, then maybe we can give the others a safe place to run.“
“Okay…I suppose that is our only option...” You took a deep breath, getting your mind ready for the fight. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much you could do now. You tried to get as many of the omegas and betas to your room, you did the best you could…but even with that thought in mind, you didn’t want to discard the rest just because they got unlucky.
You stuck your candy between your teeth- You had to make this quick, but be cautious simultaneously. You had to make time to take another candy. You can’t take them all at once, there was a cap to your mana, so no matter how much candy you ate, it couldn’t go past whatever that max was. You would have to take one- blast them until you ran out, then take another, rinse, and repeat. On average, you had five minutes for each candy. You have had four now since Nanami gave you one of his. Sukuna had five, and so did Toji and Getou; their spells require the most mana and stamina. All together, your team probably had a good thirty minutes.
You had to get out there and start blasting.
Each spell has to count.
“Ready?”
“Hm.”
Toji put up three fingers. Then proceeded to count down- It was them or you- Two- You won’t hold back- One- You can do this- Zero- The curtains were pushed to the side just as Sukuna threw his fire trident, which impaled and flamed its path.
The attack took the alphas by surprise, their gaze going toward the trident as your group came out to take advantage of the confusion.
“Get down!” You shouted at the bartenders as you whipped your hand in an arc. Your shadow magic slashed out as well as Toji’s sword. You knew the omegas had to sit on the floor, so even if there were some there, they weren’t at the bar. Because they weren’t allowed. The alphas gasped in pain as they were cut and blasted by your combined attack.
“What the hell is going -ah!” Someone screamed as they and their table were blown to pieces by Gojo’s blast.
Swarms of insects that looked like giant wasps with sharp stingers flooded the area, attacking every alpha. The alphas swatted at them and ran wild, trying to get away, tripping and falling over themselves.
Nanami was slashing and cutting his enemies down as he rushed forward and shielded the bystanders. “Go!” He commanded, pushing them toward the kitchen.
Getou stood by the kitchen helping them inside as his wasp queen spewed more babies.
“Stay behind there!” Toji flung himself over the bar as you used your shadow bolt, behind the counter. Shooting the enemies from left and right. You had seen a few omegas and betas that were still in the way- you didn’t want to cause an explosion that could hurt them so you stuck to your simpler moves. Anyone who tried to run toward you was either taken away by a swarm or dragged away and slapped against the wall by Gojo.
You were protected in your position, casting out healing spells where they were needed while throwing out your damaging abilities.
You were on autopilot, moving with the flow of battle.
The chaos that reigned was one you could not quite describe.
Screams of fear and pain filled the air.
People were running in all directions.
Bodies were dropping everywhere.
Blood and pieces of flesh flung, painting the room.
Fire began to spread, flickering around viciously.
It was a chaotically brutal battle.
The ambush discombobulated the alphas for a good while before they figured out it was your pack that was killing them.
“YOU BASTARDS!” They tried to fight back, but their fists did nothing, and they had no curse energy to do much else.
Some of them pulled out knives and other small weapons, but even that wasn’t enough.
Sukuna was able to dance around their attacks while Toji blocked them and followed up with a counter hit. Barely any of them got to your back line.
They were no match for your alphas.
You felt almost bad to watch them drop one by one like flies.
Almost.
You were winning.
That's all that mattered.
Out of the corner of your eye, you saw an omega cowering under a table, swiftly you made your way to them. Kneeling, you yelled, “Get into the kitchen-“ You paused, smelling the foul stench from them, looking down, you felt pain touch your heart.
They sniffled, telling you what you already knew.
“I-I can’t-I’m scared-I’m scared-“ The omega was trembling, “Don’t hurt me- please don’t hurt me-“
“We won’t uh-Nanami!” You called your blonde- he flipped his knife into the air and then twisted as he caught it and slashed the enemies. The flawless spin gave him enough momentum to jump to your side.
“Beloved?”
“This omega is dropping...” You said as you popped your last candy into your mouth, “Can you take them into the kitchen?”
“Got it.” Nanami went to grab the omega, but they screamed, ducking away, saying-
“Please don’t hurt me, please don’t hurt me-!“
“They are too far gone right now.” Nanami muttered, standing by your side as he readied his blade. “Can you calm them down?“
“I-“
-“You stupid bitch!” The blonde alpha woman from earlier came running at you with a swinging ball and chain. You ducked while Nanami caught the chain with his machete. Shooting a shadow bolt at her stomach, the alpha flew and crashed into the table with a pained grunt.
“-No” You gasp as you stood up beside him. “-I don’t think I can in this situation.” You would need to think peaceful thoughts and concentrate to produce such a calming pheromone. With all that was happening, you doubt you’d be able to give the omega even a sprits.
“Let’s finish this battle, then we can focus on the omega. How many candies do you have?”
“I ate my last one, you?”
“None, my shield took too much- look out!“ Nanami couldn’t finish speaking as he pushed you behind him and began to duel with two alphas
You were shocked to see that your alpha was fighting with no curse energy, and yet he was able to move with just as much fierceness. But he will run out of steam eventually. You used your energy to heal your alphas as you shouted-
“Toji! How many?”
The alpha dodged an attack as he spoke to you, “One!” And then swung his sword in a whirlwind.
Shit- if Toji only had one left then you know Getou had to be out. He used most of his mana to spawn his creatures. You gotta get rid of the rest of them before your team loses the upper hand. “Suku-“
“Throughout Heaven and Earth, I Alone Am The Honored One!” Gojo shouted as he exploded with blue energy, much like Hakari did. “Mukagen!”
You inwardly screamed in delight, thanking Tengen above! This was perfect!
When was a better time than now for your alpha to get his Ultimate ability, Limitless, which allows him to gain a burst of mana while in his powerful form. It probably wouldn’t do much here since his mana is also fighting the siphoning, but it would still help greatly.
“Take this, I don’t need it!” Gojo tossed his candy to Sukuna, who caught it with his teeth.
Sukuna chuckled, talking around the candy, “Bout time you got serious!”
“Tch- Where are you at? This is my thirteenth kill!”
“Don’t get cocky boys! But I’ve dispatched fourteen already!” Getou called.
“Does that really count when your bugs are doing the job?”
“I summoned them!”
“Aye! Talk shit after the fight is over!”
You felt a sort of relief hearing them joke while battling. As they compared numbers, you couldn’t help but wonder how many people you have killed. Truthfully, you weren’t sure if your attacks were actually killing anyone you hit. The bodies didn’t blow up into confetti or anything like that. When you hit the enemy with a shadow bolt, they just kind of go ‘argh!’- fly and hit the ground. It was hard to tell if they were really dead. Especially since the experience points didn’t bust out of them like monsters.
You noticed some of the people you hit with a blast were stabbed by Nanami and Toji.
You weren’t aware of it at first, but you realized it as things calmed down a bit- they would stab or crush the people you hit to finish them off.
Wait- were they playing clean-up duty with you?
Dammit… you weren’t delivering finishing blows!
It wasn’t like you were nervous about killing them… You really felt like you were putting all your might into it! Was this still a mental thing? Perhaps your shadow bolt wasn’t going to cut it anymore. You needed to learn something better, but how do you learn more dark magic? The only dark sorcerers you knew were the fucking villains.
Maybe the witches could help? You will have to look more into it when you visit them again. You don’t want to let your alphas down because you were still using level-one bullshit spells. Your light magic was good too, but it worked best against shadow creatures and for healing. It wouldn’t pack a good punch. You don’t want your alphas to carry you! You wanted to handle your own weight!
“Wooo~!” Gojo let out a loud sigh as he returned to normal. “That was quite the workout.”
“Yes, it truly was.” Getou stated while cleaning the blood off himself.
“We aren’t done yet. Go around and make sure they are dead.” Sukuna commanded while kicking some bodies.
“I’m sure all the people I’ve killed are totes dead.” Gojo boasted, thinking that it was Sukuna who didn’t do his job. “Maybe you should have been more serious huh?”
Toji nudged Gojo with his elbow, but he didn't get the hint just yet.
Sukuna snorted. “I- did.”
“What?” Gojo questioned, and then he looked toward you as you gave him a tight-lipped kind of smile. “Oh…uh, no I didn’t mean that baby-“
“No, it’s fine.” You shake your head, “But, I don’t want you guys to think that it was because I wasn’t ready, I think I need to learn something stronger…”
“You are so strong! Uh, the strongest amongst us!” Gojo tried to do damage control, but you just laughed it off.
“You don’t have to lie to me Gojo. I know the truth.”
“Ah…”
“Nice one.” Getou joked as he passed the white-haired alpha, who was awkwardly rubbing his neck.
Your alphas were amazing, and yes, you did your part, but you weren’t wiping your enemies like they were! You weren’t tyrant-ready. You weren’t slap the priest and fuck shit up ready. You needed more power. You needed something stronger!
“You did a great job sweetheart.” Nanami tried to make you feel better, but you knew you were the weakling here.
“Thanks, Nanami.” You sighed as you knelt by the omega who was still hiding under the table. They were in the same trembling position as before. “Hey? You okay?” You questioned the girl softly, refraining from touching them. They seemed to freak out when Nanami tried to pick them up. So you wanted to make sure they were comfortable. Give them the space that you had provided Uraume. “It’s alright...” You only got soft sniffles and mumbles for an answer. Pulling your glove off, you set your hand on the floor and concentrate on producing a calming scent. You spoke softly while waiting patiently, “You can come out now… no one is going to hurt you. All of those people are gone.”
Waiting patiently, you looked the girl over. Her hair was messy and tangled, and her kimono was tattered and dirty, just like her skin. She appeared to be so small and thin, like she wasn’t being properly fed.
“…” The omega lifted their head slightly, their big, round eyes fearful as they shifted around the bloody mess.
You couldn’t help but notice the dark circles around her eyes. Not only was she not getting enough nutrients, but she also wasn’t sleeping well.
You leaned a little in their view to block the massacre. Offering the omega a little smile, you speak slowly and softly, “What’s your name…? My name is Raven...”
The young woman still didn’t speak, her body moving in a nervous habit.
“You can speak freely…you don’t have to worry about my alphas. I’m the queen of this pack.” You say the last part with a little proud grin.
“…You?” The girl couldn’t beat her curiosity.
“Mhm…watch…. Getou~! Can you get me some water, please!”
“I got it!” Gojo flew for the kitchen as Getou growled-
“She asked me!”
You let out a little laugh as the girl smiled a bit.
“See?”
“That’s weird…they just… listen to you- you didn’t even ask for permission to speak…and you…you told them what to do…” Their expression was one of pure shock, like you had just done a magic trick.
“I don’t need permission. My alphas treat me with respect.”
“That’s... wow…oh-“ They got frightened when Nanami stepped close to you.
Your blonde noticed his presence was scaring the girl, “Sorry to intrude, sweetheart, I was just seeing if you and your friend would like to go to the room? It should be much safer there while we clear out the rest of the hotel.” Nanami finished as he offered his hand to you like a gentleman.
You thanked your blonde as you stood, then reached out to the girl, “Does that sound nice? Would you like to take a bath in our room…um, what was your name?”
With blinking eyes, they looked between you and your alpha. Not yet grabbing your hand. Nervously, they uttered out, “Six…”
“Six…? That’s a pretty name.” you felt as though the girl only told you because they were frightened of what could have happened if they didn’t. Perhaps afraid Nanami would get upset with them. You politely dismissed your blonde with another -“Thank you, Nanami.” He gave you the bracelet key and a kiss before giving you guys space.
“Toji, Sukuna, we need to get the rest of the rooms and the bodyguards outside the door.” Your alphas began to converse with each other as they spoke of their next game plan, taking the moment to breathe and check the one candy they had left.
You smile when the girl finally grabs your hand.
“…Not pretty…” she muttered as she stood.
“Hm? What’s not pretty?”
“My name…It’s… just a number…Your name is pretty Miss Raven…” The girl refused to meet your gaze, staring at her feet instead.
“Nonsense!” You let out a little laugh, catching the girl by surprise, “You never heard of the tale of the little girl named Six? She wasn’t strong at first, but through great trials, she became powerful, one you do not want to mess with. Even the alphas would be afraid of her.”
The girl's eyes seemed to light up for a moment before returning to their dim nature. “…What are you going to do to me…are you going to sell me?”
“No!” You blinked in horror, you hoped that wasn’t what the omegas thought. Then again that wasn't such an uncommon practice among alphas... shit was barbaric. You felt sick at the thought, your words stern as you made that very clear, “Absolutely not- we killed these alphas to free you, not to enslave you…I told my alphas that they had to help you...” You paused as your silly alphas came dashing out of the kitchen.
“Here you go, my sweets~!” Gojo and Getou got to you at the same time with a cup of water.
“Thanks boys.” You smile, taking one for yourself and handing the other to Six.
Six hid a bit behind you as your alphas stood before you. They were no fools to her nervousness.
“You don’t have to be scared of us.” Getou tried, but the omega didn’t move from behind you.
“Yeah, if anything, you should be scared of her.” Gojo pointed toward you as you gasped.
“I’m not scary.” You hiss, dammit Gojo! He was going to ruin the trust you just built!
“Ai~” Gojo jumped back playfully and fell to his knees, “I’m so sorry, my dear~! Please forgive me!”He then bowed over and over again in a dramatic gesture.
Getou humphed, “Shame on you Gojo, for speaking to our queen like that!”
You released a little laugh at their theatrics, now realizing they were trying to make the omega feel comfortable, you were surprised to hear her little chuckle. You sigh playfully as you say, “You are forgiven, my alpha. Now go, help the others, we are going to go bathe.”
“Yes, ma’am.” Both of your alphas bowed before leaving.
Six let out a little snort, “Wow- I've never seen anything like that...You’re amazing, Prime Omega, how do you have such power over the prime alphas?”
“They are a bit of a handful, but they truly love me and respect me. That’s the type of pack you should have.”
Six seemed to be taken aback by your words. Such a thing probably sounded far-fetched, but you are sure many of the omegas you just saved would feel the same way. They were always treated like objects, just like Uraume; they had no choices, and their opinions didn't matter. Having an alpha who listens to you? That was something beyond their imagination. You will have to give them time to grow and find their voice. They wouldn’t be able to do that within a day, but with patience, you are sure they will blossom into beautiful, strong omegas.
You offer Six your arm, “After we bathe, we can get something to eat, and then we will leave this place.”
“…All of us?”
“All of us.”
"...Even me?"
"Even you."
"..."
Six took your arm with a gentle touch, a peaking smile coming to her lips, “Would…you...tell me the story…about the girl named six?”
“Yes, of course!” You will have to change the story up a bit, but you could manage...looking up, you saw the others from the kitchen, “Come along! You can all rest in my room as my alphas take care of ah!” You gasped as something hit your foot and then your back. The next thing you knew, you tumbled and hit the ground hard.
“Aye-!”
“Baby!”
You threw your head around just in time to see the blonde alpha from earlier, holding your sword at Six’s neck.
“Ahhhh, how precious!” The woman spa,t holding the omega hostage.
“Let her go!” You shouted as your alphas helped you up with a little snarl.
“That your plan all along? The prime omega came to play hero, huh?” The blonde taunted while backing up with Six.
The omega’s eyes were wide and fearful as they stared at the blade that was threatening their life.
Sukuna scoffed. “You think holding that omega hostage is going to save you?”
“If you kill her, we will rip you apart right afterwards.” Gojo hissed, stepping closer, but Six whimpered as the blade pressed into her neck.
“Stop!” You shouted.
“Ohoho-" The woman laughed, "your queen speaks, you pathetic runt! She wouldn’t want her new friend to get hurt~.”
You tried to remain calm, holding your hand out to your alphas to keep them in place. “Release her and we will let you go- you have my word!”
“Your word isn’t shit without a blood oath!”
“I-“ you shook your head“-my alphas- a blood oath- I-may I have your permission...” You looked at them as their frowns grew deep.
“She’s not doing that, but we won't trail after you.” Toji stated.
Nanami nodded, “You can go on your way, just let the omega go.”
“Sure sure- I release them and you all come charging at me!”
“We won’t follow you! We are only here for them…please!” You begged, trying to keep your voice from cracking. “I-I can walk out with you…and my alphas can stay here…” You stepped carefully, showing the alpha that you meant what you said. You just wanted to protect Six at this point. Her pleading gaze made your chest burn.
The alpha seemed to hesitate, eyes bouncing between you, the alphas, and the scared onlookers.
"Hanyu!" You spoke her name as her gaze zipped back to you.
She licked her lips as she slowly nodded as if still unsure, “...F-Fine! Just. You.”
You swiftly nodded your head, “Yes… just me.”
It was quiet as you moved forward, your alphas releasing little growls from behind you.
“I’m fine, my alphas!” You called to them without turning around. Your eyes stayed locked on your target, your feet moving steadily.
Hanyu opened the door with one hand, the metal creating a heavy click as it flew open- and then she shouted, “YOU IDIOT BODY GUARDS GET IN HERE AND DO YOUR JOB!”
The large men outside got up with a grunt and then howled like wild beats.
You gasped in shock, the two coming toward you in a charge.
“Fuck-“ Toji hissed snatching you by your cloak he threw you behind him.
You let out a shriek as you flew in the air, but Gojo caught you.
“Guess we gotta take care of them now-“ Sukuna charged forward as the two meat heads came bulldozing in.
“Six!” You screamed, not able to see where they went.
The two men were like beasts, breaking and crushing everything as they moved forward.
Sukuna hit one head on, but the powerful force had him sliding backward with a snarl, the wood breaking up under his feet.
The other guard ran without much of a stop- your alphas lept out of the way as he busted through the kitchen wall. The omegas and betas within there let out a cry for help.
“No! Stop them!” You shouted as you ran around the battlefield while screaming, “Gojo-help the others and protect them!”
“What about you-“
“Don’t worry about me- hurry!” You slipped out of the door.
The omega guard stepped in your way with a rapier- “Not so fast-“
“Move the hell out of my way!” You growled and pushed them to the side with a pop of your shadow energy. Running up the stairs, you could feel your cursed energy filling you once again. “Shadow step!” You leaped upward, clearing the rest of the steps and out the secret path that was left open.
As you entered the main area, you let out a cry seeing Six on the floor, blood spilling profusely from her stomach and onto the floor.
“Six!” You called her name as you fell to the ground, she had a hand on her stomach and chest, her eyes closed with forgotten tears spilling from them.
“No-no! Heal!”- You were trembling as you put your hands over her body, commanding your light to heal her wound. Your healing magic did its best to seal the gaping hole, but you didn’t realize her insides were within her hands. There was too much blood in the way for you to see. You gently pushed it all back in while crying, the situation overwhelmingly gruesome. “Heal!” You were able to successfully push everything together, and this time, your magic light knitted her skin. You were shaking as you moved your hand away, her stomach was finally healed. Her eyes fluttered open. “Six…” you sighed in relief, “…Are you okay?”
The girl’s eyes looked toward you, her lips pulled into a smile, “Rave-mm.“She couldn’t finish speaking, her eyes rolled back, and her hand dropped lifelessly.
“No! No heal! Heal!” You screamed using your healing magic again and again, her stomach was healed, yet she wouldn’t open her eyes again- what happened, why wasn’t your light magic working?! “Six!” You trembled as you cried, not understanding. “-HEAL!”
No matter how much you screamed and channeled your light energy, it would do nothing to open her eyes. You used so much of your healing power that the cracks in the floor began to sprout plants that curled and cradled the two of you. You began to whimper, holding the girl to your chest as you rocked, her blood soaked your clothes and your skin, but you didn’t care. Your sobs become choked as your tears blur your vision. You screamed as you repeated the spell heal-over and over again... Until you felt like you couldn’t breathe.
“(Y/n)?” Getou called out as he swiftly made his way to you. “What…“
“Getou…my magic my-mm-magic isn’t working…Why! Why isn’t it working Getou-I don’t understand!”
“Shhh…. Shh…” Getou shushed you as he knelt beside you.
“Getou…she…do you think she’s been poisoned? I- what should I do-can I call Choso-do you think he knows- can I call him please-“
Your alpha grits his teeth as he looks the woman over, “I’m not sure that will help, sweetheart…it’s too late….”
“No-no I was right here, she was still alive, she opened her eyes and-and even after I healed her…she-she wouldn’t wake up again-I don’t understand-“
“Baby…there’s nothing you can do now…I’m sorry…”
“I have to try again-“
“Oh…fuck...” Toji winced as he walked up to you.
You didn’t even notice when he got there.
Your eyes caught Sukuna, you released a wail as you say, “Sukuna! Go find her! Don’t let her escape!”
The alpha didn’t say anything as he balled his fists and marched out the door upon your command.
You sniffled as you cradled the omega once again to your chest.
“Let’s get you inside…” Toji and Getou tried to get you up, but you pulled your arms away from them.
“No! I have to try again-“
“You can’t…you are going to hurt yourself.”
“I- I - why- why did this happen- sshe didn’t deserve this- she-“ you stop speaking when you notice Getou giving Toji a look, you could feel something- feel something that was going to happen.
Getou moved his arm toward you as he spoke the spell “Slum-“
“Don’t!” You snarled, snatching his arm before he could put you to sleep.
Both Getou and Toji looked surprised by your sudden reaction.
You were breathing heavily, you noticed a foul stench- they were afraid of you dropping. “I’m fine!”
“Y/n...” Toji said your name almost as if he were trying to see if you were truly there or if you had completely lost it.
“I said I’m fine! Don’t put me to sleep!”
Now, Toji was looking nervous, “You should… You should let us put you to sleep... This sort of stress is not okay…it’s not good for you.” He slid a cautious hand around your hip. If they had to force you to go to sleep, then they would, but the bone-crushing grip you had on Getou was not missed.
"I said I'm fine! If you put me to sleep, I will be very angry!"
Getou winced, gently prying your fingers off his wrist, “Okay, I won’t put you to sleep... What do you want to do, darling? How can we help?”
“...” you said nothing as you continued to stare at the omega before you gently lay down and cradled her like she were your own pup. “I…I just want to lie here…just let me lie here and keep her company... for just a little longer…please.”
Getou caressed your back gently while Toji ran a frustrated hand through his hair. They wanted to comfort you, but they didn’t know how, and you won’t let them use their usual spell to ease you out of this state. It was not healthy for you to have your mind sit in misery like this.
'What do we do?' Toji mouthed to Getou.
''I don't know...' Getou mouthed back.
They could both feel your pain... no they could all feel your pain.
And it was agonizing.
But there was nothing they could do, but try to comfort you with their soft caresses and purs.
They allowed you to lie there.
Your eyes were closed, but you did not find rest. You continued to whine and mourn the omega.
Moments later, Sukuna walked in with his shirt in his hands, carrying something that was bleeding.
Carefully, the alpha walked toward the others.
"I hope that's her head in there."
“I wish it was…the bitch flew away…”
“What’s that then?”
“It’s her heart… the alpha ripped it out.”
“So that's why she couldn’t heal her…” Getou hissed in anger.
“…”
“We have to find her.”
"We will find her."
Toji nodded, “I won’t forget that scent.”
“…”
There was another round of quietness before Getou whispered, “Don’t eat it, Sukuna…”
“I wasn’t going to.”

Chef Note:
~I already knew what was going to happen, yet somehow I still teared up while writing this chapter. So sorry Gege has taken the wheel on this one. I’ve already prayed and exorcised the spirit out of my body. 😔(enter interstellar meme where I’m looking at myself pounding on the window screaming no)
~Also you may be wondering where nanami and Gojo are- they are with the others making sure they are safe but they are freaking out right now because they can feel the stress Q_Q
~Something a little funny maybe or not- to lighten up this sad mood lol...A fellow diner on AO3 said the amount I write reminds them of the song Non-Stop from Hamilton, which makes me giggle a bit because I’m not doing anything great for history like Hamilton. I’m feeding my diners smut and plot that they can enjoy for as long as they want to, and that's enough to make me happy :3
~RIP Six <3
~Okay one more thing it made me tear up too how the alphas reacted and how Sukuna wasn't going to eat the heart and how they acted to six to make her feel better this whole chapter really kicked me in the nuts I thought I was ready but I wasn't ok bye gonna go cry a little in my soup Q_Q!
