House of Alpha Chapter 100: HAPPY 💯 (Patreon)

The morning came… and it was surprisingly peaceful…
No one was in a hurry to get up.
You weren't exactly asleep… but you weren’t really awake either. You were just relaxed.
Eyes closed… enjoying the serenity of just… being.
The curtains blocked out most of the sun. Some light came through, but it wasn’t invasive. It was the perfect amount of light.
Limbs were tangled with each other. Some caresses were brushed against your skin, and other times you'd get a loving kiss before the person settled down with a contented sigh.
You felt safe and at peace.
A nest full of your alphas was a blessing from the heavens.
You have slept with them before, but you felt an almost elevated sort of comfort.
If you had to create a tier list, it would be the sleep you get at home, your best friend's house, and your friend's house.
This felt like home.
Perhaps since you claimed the inn as yours, it felt like you were in your own house.
If your situation with Toji didn’t tell you anything, then this would have definitely opened your eyes. The benefits of scenting were clear as day. You just did it to do it, but the mental and physical effects were undeniable.
The inn smelled like you, the room, the nest, and your alphas.
It was perfect.
You could lie here all day long.
Tap Tap Tap
There was a tapping sound coming from the window, as if someone was knocking on it.
Some of your alphas yawned and groaned.
“What the hell is that?” Sukuna grumbled.
You scratched his head gently, easing his grumpiness. “I think someone is at the window,” you spoke softly, still in a zen-like state.
“Let’s ignore it... Maybe they will go away.” Gojo whispered as he snuggled closer to you.
“It could be something important…” Getou mused.
“Gojo, check to see who it is.” Toji suggested.
“Can’t. Too lazy.”
Toji lifted his head with furrowed brows, “You don’t need to get up, use the ball.”
Gojo whined sleepily, “Statement still stands bud…”
Nanami sighed as he shifted out of the bed, “I'll check.”
You leaned up a bit so you could watch Nanami go to the window. He opened the curtains, revealing Tigress waving.
“It’s Ti-“
“Tigress!” You smiled before he could even finish announcing who the visitor was.
Nanami opened the window and greeted the woman, “Good morning Tigress.”
“Morning Nanani- hey bitch! You look like you enjoyed your night!” She smiled cheekily while leaning on the windowsill.
"Yeah, you can say that~." You let out a playful chuckle, untangling your limbs as you sat up with the blanket pulled to your chest.
"I'm going to get washed up." Nanami came by to kiss you before going off to the bathroom.
Toji had also gotten up, kissed you good morning, and gone off to another room to either sleep more or get dressed for the day.
Sukuna, however, rolled over and put a pillow over his head, and Getou tugged the blanket over his face.
Playing with Gojo's hair, you spoke softly to Tigress so you didn’t disturb your other alphas who needed a bit more time. “How was your night?”
“I had a blast, especially with your idea. Ten out of Ten. It was a great add-on.”
“Yes, I got the idea from my alpha, actually.” Gojo's eye peeked up at you suspiciously but you covered his gaze with his hair. With a soft giggle, you ask, “So what brings you to our window?”
“Well…” she began, scratching at the windowsill with her nail. “…Wanted to see if you were cool with some morning training? You know if you can walk.”
“Ah- yes!” You nodded your head enthusiastically, but you forgot your three alphas were still sleepy and had to mutter out a quick ‘sorry’ to them for being too loud. “I’ll be out in fifteen.”
“Make that twenty.” Gojo said while kissing your hand and your arm.
"Oh~" You give Tigesss a look as the sweet kisses start leading to wandering hands.
"Looks like someone needs their morning breakfast." Tigress joked.
"Sorry~ I'll be out in twenty minutes-"
"Twenty?" Getou lifts his head with a raised brow, “You expect him to last five minutes?”
“I don’t think he can last one.” Sukuna muttered under the pillow.
Your white haired alpha gasped, “Guys? Really? That's so fucking rude. The four minutes are for the cuddling time, do you have no class?”
"Okay, five minutes was already bad, but one?" Tigress questioned in shock. "And here I thought the cock ring would help."
You nodded your head slowly, “It did… but-“
"I kept coming."
"What?" Sukuna peeked under the pillow, now seeming more interested in the convo.
"Yeah...that's what took us so long..." You chuckle nervously.
"That actually sounds like a good time, use the cock ring then and make sure my girl eats well before our training!"
“I can't-Sukuna ruined it!”
“By accident!”
Getou sighed as he sat up, "Don't worry, I guess I will have to intervene..." he spoke with a hand to his chest, like giving you a good dicking was such a sacrifice.
Sukuna threw the pillow off his face, "No, I got it. Get your beauty rest."
"I don't need any of you to help feed my queen!"
You had three alphas fighting for your attention now. You let out a squeak as you were damn near tackled into the bed, "Guys- I need to be able to walk!"
"I will carry you don’t worry!"
"No-ah Help!" Your hand waves above your love pile as Tigress chuckles.
"So~ I will give you an hour. Come get me when you are done! Bye~!" Tigress shouted.
~
Unfortunately, you had to fight off your greedy alphas this morning, so you could get to training.
You already felt sore from the night before; you were not going to make it if you had to go another three rounds. Dealing with just Gojo, you probably could have handled that, but all three of them? No way. And you doubt your other two alphas could have sat idly by and politely take care of themselves.
Nanami and Toji saved you just before things got out of hand... They also fed you a real breakfast before your training session.
You were sitting on a rock as Tigress practiced the same spell over and over again.
Both of you were dressed in sports bra-looking tops and biker shorts. Although that's not what they were called here but that's what they looked like to you.
"Whirlwind!" Tigress yelled as she twisted in the air with her legs, wind kicking up around her. She landed with a heavy hit on a Kerka and then jumped back with haste.
The creature groaned and clipped its claws as it finally fell in defeat. The exp. points absorbed into her.
"Yeah~ There you go~!" You shouted while clapping your hands.
Tigress smiled happily, wiping sweat off her forehead. "Wow, that was actually a lot easier than I expected...better than trying to use water spells."
"I think you work best with wind." You nodded your head.
Was wind the first element you wanted her to learn? Absolutely. However, you felt that was just because you wanted to turn her into Rock Lee. So you went with Sukuna's suggestion first, water. Truly, having water on her side would make her so much stronger, since you know... she lived by the ocean... Buuut she was too afraid to step into the waves. Which you had already predicted, so wind was next on the list, and if that didn't work, then you'd go for something else. However, it would appear the second choice was the charm.
When it was your turn for training, Tigress suggested something different. She wanted to work on your speed...which required actually working out.
You panted up and down the beach, taking a pause as Tigress beat up a Kerka, and then running some more. The sand helped with training, making it harder for you to run.
It was exhausting.
See... you enjoyed learning magic.
That was fun!
You much preferred training your mind than your body, but having some speed would help with dodging and movement in general. It was a good incentive to keep you pushing. Perhaps if you needed to do this for survivability back at home, you would have been at the gym every day.
"Phew~" You and Tigress flopped on a patch of grass, panting right next to each other.
"That. Was. Draining..." You breathed with your eyes closed, the sun beaming down on you.
"I think it was- hoo- quite productive.”
"It was... it was..." You agreed.
You enjoyed training, it was good to work on your skills. Luckily, your stats didn't diminish, so that was a plus. You were thinking perhaps this gave you a nice +1 speed to your attributes. Two would be wishful thinking. In the grand scheme of things, it wasn't a huge addition, but it could be the winning difference in a fight, who knows.
As you lay beside Tigress a question popped up in your head and you voiced it, "What made you want to learn how to fight?" You knew why you wanted to but most omegas you come across couldn't care less. Especially, when they have strong alphas that protect them.
"Hm..." She hummed for a moment and then clicked her tongue, "...I think I just...want to be able to stand on my own..."
You noticed a shift in her tone and you wondered if... "Was it because of Raven?"
"...Yes... and no... While I might have had your face in my mind as I kicked the dummies… I think it's important for me to learn. My alphas may not always be able to handle everything... They aren’t indestructible. Don’t get me wrong though, I believe in my alphas and know they will protect me, but that can lead them to do something stupid, or get them hurt. I don't want anything to happen to my pack."
You nodded your head, fully understanding where she was coming from, "That's why I train as well. Something could happen to my alphas, and I want to be able to protect them and myself."
There was some quiet after what you said.
"How… does it feel?" Tigress finally spoke slowly, almost like she was debating whether to ask you the question while she was asking it.
"How does what feel?"
"Being...you, I guess. Like whoever you are. It's like you are in someone else's body. You have no memories of your old life, so how do you go about being you?"
"Oh..." You felt unease wash over you. Tigress was the only one who questioned your existence this much. This would be the second time, and it was no easier than the first.
She must have noticed how uncomfortable you were with the question, or she smelled it on you. "My bad, I didn't mean to make you anxious...we don't have to talk about it."
"…No you're fine...um it’s something I ignore but maybe I need to talk about it...It feels bad...actually...But I try to be thankful for each day I am here and every second I get to spend with my alphas..." You drift off, thinking about how other isekais have typically gone. Usually, the protagonist stays as the character until the end, but there are isekais where the character does come back and take control and the main character has to fight for control. You don't know what kind of issekai your story will be, but you hope it ends happily...
"And me?" Tigress said, breaking into your thoughts.
"And you?"
"You are thankful to spend time with me, too right?" She said. You could tell she was trying to shift the tone around since it had dipped into dark territory, so you pushed out a light laugh.
"Yes, and you too. I can't wait until we can get together with Dove. We will all be able to meet in the middle at her place."
"Ah, yes~ She is right in the middle of us, that's perfect. I would love some time away from the water.”
“You won’t be scared of the snow right?”
“It’s not the same!”
“Ahuh~.” Now that the subject had changed, you were feeling a lot better. "You think she will be shocked that we are best friends?"
"Best friends? Slow your roll honey~"
"My bad, best frenemies."
"Mhm~"
The two of you shared another giggle, lying out in the sun together. But then the sun disappeared, and you were cast in shade.
"Oh my Tengen, what happened to the sun?" You opened your eyes to see red eyes staring down at you. "Ah-Sukuna?" You gasped.
"You're done already?" He questioned with his arms crossed. "I expected you to push her harder."
"Psh~ She did well, cut my girl some slack." Tigress advocated for you while reaching over and patting your arm gently.
"We will see in our next chase."
"Chase? That sounds like a kinky game, you will have to teach me that one, too, huh?"
"Ah, no~ no more chasing! I hate running from him." You wag your finger up at Sukuna. “It is not kinky and sexy!”
Your alpha still refused to believe you, "You love it and you know it."
You and Sukuna started to go back and forth, but then Tigress cut in and said, "Why don't you chase him then?"
You opened your mouth to deny the suggestion, but then paused, staring at Sukuna to see what his reaction was going to be.
He released a snort, "She couldn't catch me. It would be like allowing a Deira to chase a Gyron."
You gasp, sitting up as you stare at Sukuna. THE AUDACITY! "A deira?!" You looked around as if looking for Sukuna's marbles because he must have lost them.
"Yeah." Sukuna nodded with a teasing chuckle.
"You gonna take that disrespect?" Tigress questioned, secretly enjoying adding oil to the fire.
No, not secret, who are you kidding the girl was messy, but you loved her anyway. BECAUSE SHE'S RIGHT. The disrespect was potent!
"You-" You point with a little scoff, "-are a Gyron and I'm a deira- that's LAUGHABLE! Remind me who gave you the slip-up in Shapuro?"
"I still found you-"
"I stopped running! I was reading in a library. I let you have me."
"Ooo~" Tigress looked between the two of you. She looked very entertained; all she was missing was her popcorn.
Sukuna's high and mighty attitude dropped as he glared at you. Then he said, "I won the first round, and the second time, so I suppose I can give you that win."
"The first time doesn't count! I barely knew magic!"
"No nooo~ Don't make excuses."
"Fine! Next time, I want to chase you. We will see who the Deira is!"
"Fine."
"FINE!" You jumped up and grabbed Tigress, "LET'S GO, WE GOT MORE TRAINING TO DO!"
"Okay~ I like this attitude." Tigress cheered you on as the two of you started to jog.
"Yes, I gotta beat him! Never back down never what!”
“Never give up!”
You were fueled with a new goal in mind.
Beat Sukuna in his own game!
You will train hard!
You will laugh when you catch him and wipe that stupid smirk off his face and win!
It will be a victorious day!
However, a few minutes in, you heard a noise approaching you.
"On your left."
Just as you looked, Sukuna flew past you. He had gone so fast, it was like a car just sped by. Sand flew all around you making you cough.
You gasped watching him go down the beach, clearing a great distance ahead of you within seconds. You were so shocked, you stopped running and just stood there breathing heavily.
Already out of breath.
You knew Sukuna held back during your chases, but damn- seeing it like this was soul-crushing.
Even if you pushed yourself to the fullest- hell, even if you used Shadow Step, you wouldn't even be able to half the distance.
Tigress clicked her tongue, "On second thought... You might be fucked."
"Well, help me get like I dunno unfucked!"
"Pfft- girl, I don't work miracles! You would need Tengen himself to come down from the skies and bless you!"
"What happened to never give up~!" You whined pitifully.
But you knew the odds of you closing your speed gap to Sukuna were unlikely.
~
You pout as Sukuna had you on his back, carrying you across the beach.
Sukuna had passed you up like three more times before you finally fell in exhaustion and frustration. Your legs were extremely sore now, and even though Sukuna ran circles around you he was still able to carry you without heaving a sigh.
Though you were pissed about him being faster than you and all around knowledgeable you had to admit it was one of his biggest traits that you loved about him. You just weren't going to point it out now.
Now you had to decide how to beat him.
You will need to change strategies for your game of cat and mouse. Perhaps you could equip all speed items. However, you weren't sure if that would be enough to make you even…or close to his speed.
If you think back to the game, Dove’s speed was also shit compared to everyone else. However you didn't build her for speed, that was not her strength. Sukuna and Toji were the fastest however, Gojo had them beat in his limitless form.
Getou was the slowest but by using his spirits he was able to make up for it.
You needed something like that. Something that could give you speed.
As you thought on this you found your attention being drawn to what Sukuna and Tigress were talking about.
“If wind is truly your element then you should stick with it, however, if you aren’t killing those small Kerkas in one hit then it may not be the one for you. You move fluidly like water, I believe that would fit you better.”
“We tried.” you say, while Tigress further explained.
“That was our first element…but I couldn’t get it.”
“Well~” you drawled, “I think you could have.” Your statement said all it needed to say without pointing out the obvious.
“I know I know, but I work so well with wind!”
Sukuna caught on quickly, “I’m not going to argue with you on whether that is true, but just remember you could be denying your true potential.”
You blinked at his words and then looked at Tigress who looked a bit lost in thought, then she finally said, “Yeah, I know my fear is fucking stupid.”
“It is.”
“Sukuna.” you chastised the alpha.
“Let me finish.” he squeezed your thigh before continuing. “It is- however, no matter how silly it is, it’s an issue you have, and an issue you can work on. You take baths don’t you?”
“…”
The pause had you and Sukuna looking at Tigress with raised brows.
You clicked your tongue, “Tigress? Do you not take baths?”
“I- well I do but one of my alphas has to be there…and the water has to be in a tub…with me outside of it.”
Oh Tengen-
“Tigress…”
“What? What if I fall and drown!”
“How do you drown in a foot of water?”
“It could happen!”
“Good Tengen girl...” You couldn't believe how much Tigress reminded you of a cat. You wondered how the hell her first bath time had gone. A funny image popped in your head, one of her clawing at Miguel and Nigel as they tried to put her in the tub.
Sukuna shook his head, “Well start there. Dip a hand in there and then keep it moving each day. Having your alphas coddle you isn't going to help you. Damn bastards let you get away with everything.”
“Like you do with your omega?” Tigress slipped in sneakily.
“Hmmm~.” you hummed, not agreeing but also not disagreeing.
Sukuna released a little growl, “Don’t make me throw you into the water myself.” The threat did nothing but make the two of you laugh.
“Ah! Look out!” Tigress explained as she pointed at a snake spirit buried in the sand, its eyes peeking out from underneath.
“No wait!” you shouted before Tigress could attack. “I think that’s Getou’s spirit.” You say with a questioning stare, you couldn't quite see it.
“Yeah.” Sukuna confirmed as the snake poked its head out and flicked its tongue.
“What is it doing out here? Is Getou here?” You look around but don’t see your other alpha.
“No, it's his surveillance, he has his pets all around town.”
“Surveillance?” Tigress questioned walking around the snake. “Does he think we are going to be attacked or something? He was talking to Miguel about our wooden beams for our home. Saying it might not be sturdy enough.”
You didn’t know how to answer that question but Sukuna responded smoothly. “With what happened in Aika he just wants to be cautious.”
“I see...” Tigress gazes at her city a bit differently now. Probably realizing that an attack could be possible.
She, nor the rest of the world (except you and the villains) knew that the curse spirits were planned attacks. They just thought it was a town that was cursed. They treated it like an unlucky tragic event, like it was a natural disaster.
It was actually smart of Getou to put up his spirits, but having them out 24/7 must be exhausting.
Your poor alpha.
You will have to tell him it was alright to relax a bit. If the attack hadn’t happened yet you doubt it was coming. That just meant you had to be ready to ride as soon as you got wind of it.
“Hey!” Nigel waved as you all got into town.
“Hey!” you and Tigress called.
Something about the alpha had you squinting your gaze. You had noticed from afar that he looked to be walking weirdly. “Is he alright?”
Tigress whispered to you quickly, “We might have had a little too much fun last night.”
Sukuna sounded confused, “Yeah but why is he limping?”
“…”
“…”
“What?”
“Anyways~ see you guys tonight for dinner?”
“We will be there.” You blew Tigress a kiss as she waved her goodbyes. After she left you clicked your heels against Sukuna like a horse and pointed, “Onward!”
“Don’t make me drop you.”
“Hehe~.” You throw your arms around your alpha's neck as you enjoy being carried. You caught a repair shop out of the corner of your eye, making you perk up, “Oh- A repair shop! I need to bring them the clip.”
“…” Sukuna looked toward it but kept walking, “…They can’t fix it, I already asked.”
“Oh…” you pout a bit saying, “…how can they fix staffs and armour but can’t fix a clip?”
“Tch- that’s what I fucking said, you want me to set it on fire?”
You let out a little giggle, “No it’s fine...”
“We can find someone else to fix it.”
“Okay... Thank you for asking them Sukuna…that was really thoughtful…and thank you for being such a good alpha to me…and caring about my friends.”
“Yeah yeah.” Sukuna deflected your compliment without a second thought but you could feel how warm his body had gotten. You could bet rubies his face was red.
You couldn’t help but smile, knowing that Sukuna was different from the one in the game. He wasn’t as cruel and hard. He was fair and had his moments of kindness that he tried to hide. You love how far he’s come in such a small amount of time. It made you feel good about yourself knowing that you were the cause of his change.
“Boo!”
“Oi!” you squeak as someone pinched your sides. Snapping your head you see your white haired alpha was the culprit, the little rascal smiling ear to ear. He was also with Toji. “Hey, boys.”
“Hey, beautiful, how was training?” Gojo questioned while walking beside you.
“Did you butt in on their training?” Toji questioned, seeing as Sukuna was carrying you. He probably thought he ran you into the ground… which he kind of did if you think about it.
“No.”
“He helped a little at the end but it was actually really good! I think…” Your sentence trailed off, noticing that Gojo seemed to be smiling extra hard. Like way too hard. Your mind immediately shifted gears. “What did you do?”
Gojo shrugged, “Nothin…” the way he said it sounded like he was hiding something.
“We just played cards with the fishermen.” Toji butted in swiftly.
“Mmm…” Those two were hiding something. All you had to do was stare at Gojo for long enough and he would crack.
Just as you suspected your gaze was making the alpha sweat.
Then he let out a growl, “Let me just tell her!”
“No!” Toji denied making the alpha groan.
“You really thought he could hold a secret?” Sukuna sounded to be more displeased with Toji.
“He said he would!”
“And you trusted me?!”
“What the-” Toji hissed as he pinched his nose. “No more questions princess. Don’t even stare at him please.”
“Okay~.” You smile not wanting to ruin whatever they had for you. You couldn't wait to see.
You all made it to the inn, outside Nanami and Getou were perched on the porch. Getou was sitting on the wooden rail, with one foot propped up, while Nanami stood by him with his hands on his hips.
“Get ready now Getou, we are going over to Miguel's for dinner.” Sukuna teased, knowing that the alpha takes five business days to get ready.
“I’ll be ready.” Getou said, but his gaze seemed to be toward the sky. It also didn’t hold any humour in it.
You looked up wondering what could have his attention. All you saw was the clear blue and puffs of clouds.
“I’m gonna take a nap.”
“Same.”
Toji and Gojo had gone into the inn but you had patted Sukuna on the shoulder so that he could put you down.
“Hey, Nanami.” You greeted your blonde as he came over to kiss your cheek.
“How was your time with Tigress?” he asked.
“It was fine…” You say, eyes drifting to Getou who was still in the same place. You were surprised that he hadn't come to welcome you. “…Is he okay?”
Nanami glanced at your other alpha. “…I think you should talk to him.”
“What’s going on?” Sukuna questioned.
“I’ll fill you in… let’s go inside.”
You didn't like the sound of that.
Nanami had taken Sukuna away, leaving you alone on the porch with Getou. You walked slowly, partially because of your training and also because you were now anxious. You hoped whatever was going on was not bad.
“Hey…” You greet Getou, leaning against the rail with your back to it.
Your alpha’s gaze didn't even look your way until you said something.
His lips pulled up into a smile but it did not touch his eyes. “My sweet darling? You are back from your training already?”
“Yes, I have survived~.” You joke lightly but you knew you were dying to get to what was going on, so you cut to the chase. “Suguru… are you okay?”
“I am…” he said at first but then sighed deeply, “…perhaps not one hundred percent…” his gaze shifted to the sky once again and you searched with him, trying to find the answer.
“What are you looking for?”
“…My bird. It has yet to return.”
As soon as his statement registered in your mind you looked toward him with wide eyes. “Suguru-”
“I don’t want to jump to conclusions… but… my bird should have already been back. Fushimi isn’t that far from here.”
“Could…something have attacked it…?”
“Possibly. But I'm not sure if that same something or someone could also have done something to Yu and his people.”
You felt unease wash over you, “You think…” you paused not saying what could be a possibility… the attack could be happening now in Fushimi. “…Okay. That’s all you need to say let’s go.”
You thought your words would boost some sort of hope within Getou but it didn’t. It seemed his face flashed with something akin to frustration. Like he was fighting something within his mind.
“…”
“What?”
“…What if… once we leave…Kobeq is attacked…”
“I don’t get it? Do you want to stay here?” You asked the question but then you put your hand up as if to hold him from answering that, “-Wait. I see what’s going on here. Yu could be in danger but once we leave Miguel and his pack could also be in danger. Is that what you're battling with now?”
Getou hummed seemingly impressed, “You are as intelligent as you are beautiful.”
“Oh stop~.” You wave him off, returning to this serious situation. “Ok-I’m going to say something that I hope doesn’t sound insensitive…I think we should go check on Yu and the reason is…when Kobeq is attacked we are across the map in Tokyoto. The town does get pretty fucked up I'm not going to sugar coat that, but I feel it would be less fucked if we give them the tools to prepare for it.”
Getou nodded, “I told Miguel about making his home more sturdy… how could he be such an idiot and not see how dangerous that is...”
You frown at his words, “Don’t put this on Miguel. Most strong sea creatures wouldn’t be this far inland. All they got is usually Kerkas and a pup could kill that. So I can see where the miscalculation can be found... So my idea is, if the alphas' home hadn’t collapsed on them then they would have been able to handle the attack much better. We’ve picked up plenty of supplies on our adventure, and we can give them the materials to make their home sturdy.”
Getou looked at you with a raised brow, “The materials that you yell at us to collect so we can upgrade our gear?”
“Yes- wait I don’t yell!”
“Mmm… you're kind of yelling right now.”
“Mmm, I'm kind of going to make you wear the cock ring next time.”
“Don’t threaten me with a good time sweetheart.” Getou grinned, this time his eyes seemed to be a little brighter.
You released a light laugh, “I swear you and Gojo… alright let's let everyone know of the plan…” You pressed your lips as you realized something. “Ah…Tigress is going to be quite sad that we won’t be joining them for dinner…”
“Yes…I would have loved to stay a bit longer…it was nice…” Getou had seemingly drifted off again, eyes searching in the sky… as if hopeful to see the messenger bird at the very last minute.
This attitude reminded you of the one in the game. It reminded you of quiet Getou… the one that was hard to read… the one that was hard to talk to. It started just like this after the second episode. He didn’t get like this after the first, but as time went on he began to shift into someone different. Someone colder and distant. You learned about his relationship with Masamichi, and how he sought revenge for his death. But in the game, you had no idea he even cared for the man in that way.
Was this another situation in the game that you didn’t realize affected your alpha?
You thought Getou had always been this brooding alpha but perhaps it was due to the people he cared about being hurt and killed…
“Getou…” You set a soft hand upon his arm. You waited for his gaze to look at you before you continued talking. “…You really…care about Miguel and his pack…what is your history with them?”
Getou seemed surprised by your question, “Was my past with them not given to you?”
“Actually… you were quite mysterious.”
Getou let out a little laugh, “Interesting, and here I thought you knew all about me… well… Miguel and Nigel’s pack was almost my pack.”
“What?” You gasped, jaw on the ground. “Really?!”
“Yes hehe…” Getou chuckled, “It was a lovely pack, and we got along well. There were two more that were a part of it as well but after I left they too had branched off. One of them you met, he was the beta in Eternal City.”
You blinked your eyes as you flipped through your memory. Then you snapped your fingers, “Larue!”
Getou nodded, “Yes, and the other was an alpha her name is Manami Suda. Did you learn about her?”
“Yes- she’s like a mercenary for hire. Sometimes if we needed a quest done we’d get her. She was one of the mostexpensive mercenaries to buy but she got the job done.”
Getou spoke of the woman with a tone of admiration, “That would be her. She‘s quite the sassy alpha too.”
“Yup, she never failed us…. But wait… I still can’t believe you were almost a part of a different pack! I see now why you get along so well with everyone. So then why didn’t you?”
Getou took a deep breath, “Believe it or not… it was because of Satoru…he was not able to bond with everyone… actually he didn't bond with anyone.”
Your expression fell to a frown, you couldn't help but feel sorry for the alpha, “How could no one bond with him?”
Getou shrugs, “That’s just how it is sometimes. It is very difficult for alphas to bond with each other. Without you do you think we all would be together?”
“Good point…” You bit at your lip, surprised that Getou was going to be a part of another pack. Yet even though he bonded with everyone he decided to back out all because of Gojo. If that wasn't a beautiful bromance you don’t know what was.
“…Do you…regret it” You asked before you could tell yourself that was an insecure ass question.
“Yes.”
You gasped, looking toward Getou-
“Pft hahaha!” AND HE STARTED LAUGHING AT YOU!
“THAT’S NOT FUNNY!”
“Sorry sorry~ I just love messing with you. No, I don’t regret it. Then I wouldn’t have gotten the best omega in the multiverse~.” Getou pinched your cheeks making you growl.
Though your alpha and you were laughing and joking around, you knew deep down he was feeling anxious about Yu and his could have been family.
Now you understand why Getou’s mental began to deteriorate in the game. He was losing people he cared about and kept it bottled up. He was much different from Sukuna. Whereas Sukuna had changed for you, Getou was actually always a level-headed alpha. It was the events that changed him, he was never the brooding guy you thought he was, and knowing that made you sad.
You pull the alpha into a hug, catching him by surprise.
“What is this for?” He questioned while melting in your embrace.
“I’ll do my best to protect everyone you care about…I gave Dove the book of light and if she’s there I know she can help. She’s strong.”
Getou patted your back gently resting his chin upon your head. “I know… thank you.”
You sat like that for a moment before you pulled back set him with your gaze, “We can leave right now if you want.”
“You don’t want to bathe first?”
You could tell your alpha hadn’t gotten his beauty bath yet either, his hair was looking a little frizzled.
“We can go right now Suguru, no questions asked.”
Getou nodded, “Yeah, I would like that.”
“Just don’t get too close.”
“Don’t touch my hair.”
“Will we survive?”
“I hope so.”
