Chef Note: Just a fair warning, Gege might have broken into my kitchen and put more onions in this meal just a heads up. But I promise we will be okay 🖤.

Goodbyes.
Once again you were dealing with sad farewells.
They never ever get any easier.
Even though Tigress was trying to keep up her hard exterior you knew this was hurting her.
“Damn…” She sighed as you slowly nodded your head, giving her a pained expression.
It hurt to leave, but you had to… and you knew she understood.
“Yeah… I’m sorry this was so abrupt. We will send a message back as soon as we clear everything up and make sure Yu and his pack are okay.”
The others were busy with their farewells… doing the clap of hands, bringing it into a hug followed by a pat on the back. The bro hug is what you call it… in your head.
Tigress popped her lips shaking her head as if this was unbelievable, as if she didn’t want it to be true, “…And here I thought you were moving in by taking over the inn...”
You let out a sad laugh, the moment was tough, the two of you trying to be tougher. “My bad about that… but you might need to clear it out when I return. I enjoyed having the place to myself.”
“I’ll just have my people build you a nest that would be less expensive…”
“Ooo~ A personal nest for me? I can’t wait to see it on my next visit…”
It felt like the minutes were going by within a flash but the two of you were trying to hang on to this moment.
Then, Nanami came by and gave you the book of wind. It was his subtle hint that you had to go. You thanked him and then handed it to Tigress.
The omega seemed surprised that you were giving her the spell book, she grabbed it but not fully, “What? You are going to give this to me?”
“My pack doesn't use wind, so you can make use of it more than we can. Just be careful you don’t hurt yourself.” Insert flashback to when you zapped the shit out of yourself.
Tigress scoffed in bewilderment, taking the book from you. But just as it left your hands another book was flopped onto the other one causing her dip.
“Oh-“
“Hey-”
Sukuna had walked by dropping the book of water without even a word.
You both let out a laugh once realizing what had happened.
Tigress rubbed her hand upon the intricate cover as if reading braille, “He really wants me to learn water… doesn’t he?”
You shrug with a little smile, “Well, that just means that he sees something that we don’t. He was the one who pointed me in the right direction.”
“I guess, I will have to give it a try…and then next time we can have a rematch.”
“I would love to...” Your attention shifted to Miguel and the others who came over to hug you goodbye.
“Take care of them.” Miguel had said within his embrace.
“I will.”
“I’m happy Tigress and you became friends.” Nigel commented when it was his turn.
“She couldn’t resist my charm.” You joked sending the girl a wink as everyone laughed.
And then the twins hugged you at the same time, “Next time you will have to play Alfo with us!”
“I will need to learn the rules, I had no idea what was going on!”
“Actually~ We very much enjoyed watching.” Tigress added looking toward Miguel and Gojo who chuckled nervously.
“Was it as bad for you as it was for me?” Gojo quickly whispered to Miguel.
“I was dying the hell do you mean?”
“I couldn’t even tell!”
You shook your head seeing the two bond over being edged for dear life.
Last but not least Tigress had passed her books to her betas so she could throw both her arms around you.
You hugged her tight as the two of you rocked gently, her face in the crook of your neck.
That’s when you heard the soft sniffle, “You- you better come back…like…you…my hoe…not that bitch…” She whispered as she sniffled through her words.
You knew what she was referring to. She didn’t want Raven to return. She wanted you to return. With her tears and words, you couldn’t help but start crying too.
“Dammit- you are gonna make me cry-“
“Me?! YOU made me cry- why did you give me these books I was doing so well-“
You both laughed within your hug. Tears streaming down your cheeks.
Tigress pulled back trying to hide her tears, using her palm, “Ugh-I’m too much of a bad bitch to be crying.”
You cup her face wiping her tears for her, “We can be emotional gangsters that’s okay… There’s nothing wrong with crying. Crying doesn’t make you weak...”
She nodded and after a few more sniffles Tigress gave you a kiss on your cheek and hugged you again as her final goodbye.
Nanami helped you up on your horse and then you were off.
You blew kisses and waved and once you couldn’t see them anymore you fell silent.
Listening to the hooves of the horses.
Your alphas were respectful of your emotions, giving you the time to digest and process…
“…”
“I’m losing count of the omega harem!” Gojo cut into the silence.
“That would be five!” Getou shouted.
“We should keep her away from all omegas!” Nanami looked at you with a smile trying to make you laugh.
“Alright guys, how could she not fall for me?!” You chuckle with a flutter of your eyes.
“My princess is too damn charming!” Toji added.
“AYE NO MORE! FIVE IS THE LIMIT!” Sukuna shouted.
“Ah come on! I gotta up these numbers!” You tease.
No matter what situation you were in your alphas were always there to lift you.
You just hoped you could do the same for them…
Most importantly for Getou.
If something happened to Yu…
No- Yu is fine.
That’s what you had to keep telling yourself.
Yu is fine.
Dove should be there with him and if she has been practicing her light magic then they will have no issues. Her magic at the start of the game was strong enough to handle the first episode. If the second episode monsters were to attack she could fight them.
You believed in her.
You believed they were fine.
So you wouldn’t let doubt sway your mind.
~
You sat next to Getou, both of your eyes staring at the sky.
This was your first stop since you had left Kobeq.
Nanami had pushed the horses but he didn’t want to overdo it.
Nanami spoke while brushing his horse, “We aren’t too far from the Chi village… After the horses are done drinking and eating then we can walk the rest of the way to still give them a break. Then we will ride up the mountain.”
You all nodded to his plan.
“Sounds good.” Gojo talked with food in his mouth, he and Toji sat across from you while Sukuna scouted the area.
“Eat something.” Toji handed you and Getou a bowl of food, and though you guys took it, the food sat in your lap for a good bit of time.
Suguru bumped you with his elbow, “You need to eat.”
“So do you.” You countered without breaking your gaze from the sky.
It was like both of you were feeding off each other's anxiety.
You didn’t mean for this to happen but you couldn’t help it.
Now you are searching for that damn bird hoping it appears and the weight from your chest could release. It was like you were trying to manifest it into existence.
Nanami stood in front of you, blocking the sky, his arms crossed and his gaze was stern, “Both of you need to eat. Now.”
“Yes, alpha.” You conceded, picking up your fork.
Getou made a show, shoveling food in his mouth as he went, “Hmmmm~ Delicious~ Lovely. So good~ Yum yum.”
That made you and Gojo snort your food and start laughing.
Nanami shook his head, “Very funny Suguru.” But he and everyone knew that the two of you were the most on edge. It wasn’t hard to tell. So he wasn’t going to be as hard on him or you.
Gojo perked up, “We should give her our gift.”
You looked at the two as Toji growled at him, “No…let’s wait until after we sort this out.” Once he shut that down he looked toward you with a soft expression. “…I want to wait so you can enjoy it…” He explained but he didn’t need to you already understood.
“That’s okay, we can wait until all of this is sorted out. Then I can breathe again.” You were ready to run straight for Yu.
You hoped the Chi village didn’t turn into spirits and attacked the poor alpha. Unfortunately, that was the only thing that was buzzing in your mind and though you didn’t voice it you knew Nanami was probably thinking the same thing. That’s why you took a break before entering the town, just in case you needed to fight.
“Oi.” Sukuna called from the trees, getting everyone’s attention. “Come here…No Gojo not you.”
“Me?” You questioned with a point to your chest.
“Yes, you.”
Shifting around you place your food on the ground and then get up to follow Sukuna.
He took you some ways away from the camp but not too far. He then bent by the bushes and pulled out what you assumed was a sword. It was wrapped in cloth... and looked sword shape so you know...
You smile as he hands it to you. “For me?” Unwrapping the sword, you did so slowly, revealing the pretty cover that reminded you of the starry night sky, the handle was shaped like a moon. When you pulled it out the silver blade glimmered. It was a dark sword with a lot of enchantment slots open. “Wow… this is really nice Sukuna…and we are technically matching Solunar.” You giggle a little, making Sukuna scratch the back of his head nonchalantly.
As he spoke his tone dropped a bit near the end, “Yeah…Figured it would be a good placeholder until… I get your sword back…”
“Well…This could be my secondary sword that I use…it will boost my shadow magic especially once I get more purple orbs.” You tried to be more enthusiastic with the weapon because you were. You were happy that he found a thoughtful gift. But, it was a little hard to embody such happiness remembering why Sukuna needed to get you a new sword and why you were on your way to Fushimi.
There was a lot on your mind, but you stepped forward and kissed Sukuna sweetly to show him how much you appreciated his present.
His hands wrapped around your hips and he pulled you close as he deepened the kiss.
You then thought of something and pulled back just a little to look into his eyes, “Are you going to give me the other gift or…?”
“No.”
“What? Come on-“
Sukuna kissed you trying to shut you up, and you inwardly laughed at his antics. Now it’s going to kill you to know what the other gift was!
“You guys ready?” Toji shouted.
Sukuna gave you a swift peck then shouted, “Yeah!” He was about to walk away but you stood in place making him look at you with a questioning brow. “What you want me to fuck you real quick?”
“No!” You shook your head, hooking the sword to your belt, and then offered him your hand. Maybe you were feeling a little needy okay!
He took your hand and led you back to camp with a little snort.
Once you got back , Toji handed you the straps of your horse. “Do you want me to carry you?”
“No, I can walk, thank you though.”
“Let’s get moving.” Nanami called as he began to lead the herd down the path.
The sky was dark, stars twinkling in the sky.
You were tired from traveling all day long, and the pit stop you got didn’t help all too much but you weren’t going to voice this. You pushed on, one foot after the other.
“Look!” Gojo pointed into the air. Smoke was billowing above the trees.
“Do you think the town is burning?” You questioned picking up your pace.
“It’s not a lot…” Toji answered.
“They may just be burning their things again…” Getou suggested.
Sukuna frowned, “What more do they have to burn?”
“KYAAAA!”
A pitiful scream pierced the air, within the next moment, your whole pack was running, leaving your horses behind.
The scream continued until it finally stopped. You could hear so much commotion as you got closer.
People shouting people… cheering?
When you broke from the trees you found the entire village gathered together in the middle of the town.
They looked back at you with… smiles…
“Prime alphas and omega! Welcome back!” they called to you in a harmonious joy.
“What the hell…” Getou whispered and that’s when you looked up to see a person tied to a stick, burning…
You couldn’t distinguish who the person was but you nearly cried when you saw a little girl with brown hair, tied to a pole right next to the figure.
She sniffles as she screams- “MAMA!”
And though the villagers were speaking all you could hear was the little girl's pitiful cry. All you could see was the tears falling on her battered cheek.
It was the same girl you had seen in Shapuro, the one you had almost run over.
Was that her mother…? The unrecognizable figure? Where’s her sister?
No- it couldn’t be.
This can’t be real.
“Holy shit…” Gojo whispered.
“What…what have you done…” Your voice cracked as you walked forward… the crowd made way for you. “…What have you done…” You repeated again once you got to the front, your eyes were locked onto the girl and the burning body right next to her.
Raj threw his hands into the air, a blade in his grasp, “We have saved ourselves from these witches! Do not let their innocent appearance fool you prime omega! They are enemies of Tengen!”
“No-! Mama was trying to help-mm!” The other girl voiced but Julibea covered her mouth.
“Silence demon!” She held the blonde girl as she fought in her grasp.
“They could very well be tricksters…” Sukuna spoke.
“…But I don’t think these ones are…” Toji added.
“No! Don’t be tricked alphas! After we burn them you will see! We will be cleansed!” Raj shouted as the town had gone into an uproar of cheers.
“Finally!”
“We will be free!”
“It’ll all be over!”
You couldn’t feel anything. All you could feel was a burning cold that dug into your veins. All you could hear was the burning fire crackling and eating at a woman who was just trying to help…
All you could see were two girls who were screaming and crying but no one cared. Their faces were bruised and one of their eyes was swollen shut.
Their misery and pain were the only things you could focus on. The only thing you could feel. Your heart hurt. It hurt so bad you put a hand to it. Tears pouring from your eyes. They burned as they trailed down your cheeks.
How could anyone do this?
How could this happen?
Who would do this?
Monsters.
That’s who.
They were all monsters…
They were worse than the curses they transform into.
The blonde girl bit Julibea’s hand, making the woman yelp as she let go of her.
The little girl fell to the ground and gasped as the Chief stepped to her.
“Why you little-!” Raj shouted raising his hand but before it could make contact you caught his wrist. “-Ah!”
“Don’t you dare!” You didn’t even realize you had moved.
Your eyes burned so badly that you closed them tightly. You felt them roll to the back of your head and when you could see again all you saw were figures. They were outlined in red or green. Each of the figures had different colored curse energy, but that didn’t matter.
What mattered was the outlines.
You knew what the green meant. In the game, they are highlighted as your ally.
Red was your enemy.
The arm in your hold was turning black. Venom-like spider webs spread and consume the arm. Their other arm came slashing at you with a weapon but you didn’t feel it, almost as if it went right through you.
With your newfound vision, you could see something pulsing inside the person you were holding. Like it was the source of life… You reach for it and grab it with your hand with ease. The struggling ceased to exist and the body before you turned black and became one with you.
You couldn’t really hear anything.
You heard nothing actually.
You could barely feel anything either.
It was… surprisingly euphoric.
Looking down at yourself you were just a cloud of darkness, and right underneath you was a small figure highlighted in green.
Red linings began to blur around you.
The enemy.
They were all around you.
You reached for each one turning them into clouds of your energy. With each new enemy you consumed you grew bigger and stronger.
A green line figure had stepped in your way but you flew past it as if it weren’t even there. It was blocking the way to your targets.
Your targets had scattered, running into the woods but you could still see the outline of their bodies.
You were not going to let them get away.
You would never let anything slip between your fingers again.
More green outlines surrounded you but you shot into the air like you were swimming in water. You felt a swirling coolness around you. And within your mind, you heard the word…
“Oblythian”
The entire area was covered in darkness…
The buildings…
The trees…
And all the red…
Had disappeared…

~
Before your eyes opened, you felt someone caressing your forehead. You could smell the scent of coffee every time the hand passed to smooth over your skin.
You slowly blinked. Nanami was sitting next to you on the bed while your other alphas were sitting around the room looking like they had the roughest night imaginable.
“Hey!” Toji stood up as well as the others but Nanami held a hand out.
“Wait! Don’t crowd her at once…” The blonde chided them.
They instead dragged their chair closer or scooted closer on the floor so they could be in your view.
“Hey, little bird…” Nanami looked down at you with a nervous gaze, “…How are you feeling?”
You moved your eyes, feeling overwhelmed with your alphas all in here at the moment. You were in a room, that looked like the same guest room you were in when visiting Yu. You didn't say anything. Instead, you continued to stare at the ceiling.
How did you feel?
Numb.
You felt… numb.
Or something in that category.
What happened last night all felt like a feverish dream. A dream that you couldn't possibly believe was true.
“Did… that actually happen…” You questioned.
Instead of answering your question, Toji asked you another one, “…What do you remember…?”
You slowly blinked, and each time you closed your eyes you could see the red enemies. “…I remember we were surrounded by enemies… and I…think I got rid of them...”
“…”
“You did…”
“I couldn’t…see any faces… or hear anything...were they… the Chi village…?” You already knew the answer to that. You were well aware of what you had done. But you just had to ask.
“They deserved it!” Getou shouted while standing up. “They were sick fucks so don’t you dare beat yourself over this!”
“Getou…they were afraid…they had no idea what they were doing.” Toji spoke softly.
Sukuna added on to that, “I’ve fought witches that disguised themselves as pups all the time. They do it on purpose to get to you… But unfortunately, I don’t think that was the same for this situation…”
“This was just… an unfortunate event.” Nanami settled, looking toward you to see if you felt the same.
You hadn’t moved or said anything as they spoke back and forth. It had all sounded like white noise. You had no idea where you stood on this.
The enemies you had vanquished were the very same village you had promised to help. They were cursed and needed your aid. You promised... But instead of healing them… you did what you did.
Transformed into something that could no longer feel. Unless it was the life that you were crushing and absorbing. You don’t even know what you were doing to them. You don’t know if you want to ask.
Guilt?
Guilt…
Your heart hurt with something... But you were unsure if it was guilt.
Because at the same time, you saw those girls and their mother. You saw what they had done. Even in your most desperate moment you could never… never do something so selfish and cruel. It made you sick to your stomach. The whole thing made you want to vomit.
Why did this happen?
Your eyes blurred as tears slid down your face, “Where were the priests…? Where was Yu? Why was that family there in the first place? No one should have been let into the town…”
“I know…” Nanami wiped your tears with his handkerchief. “…It was just…a bad situation...”
You didn't even know who to be angry with. You don’t know if you hated yourself for what you had done or hated the village more for what they did and were going to do.
They were sick-
They needed help-
You were supposed to help them-
You could have easily apprehended them right? You could have done something else right?
“…The girls... Are they okay?” you ask as your alphas answered, but you couldn’t even register who was speaking to you.
“They are fine…”
“As fine as they can be…”
“Good…that’s good…Is Yu angry with me? For what I did…?”
“No…”
“And…Dove…?”
“…”
“We would need to discuss that…”
You looked toward your alphas and seeing their averting gazes told you all you needed to know. She probably thought you were a monster…
“Please…” You whispered as you turned from your alphas. “…Please get out… and let me be…”
You heard a growl as someone pulled your arm and flipped you on your back Sukuna was growling in your face, “Don’t you dare fucking do this! Don’t you push us out and beat yourself up over that fucking village! Fuck them!”
“Sukuna!” Nanami and Toji pulled the alpha off you as they dragged him toward the door.
“Dammit Sukuna just give her some time!” Getou shouted as he ripped the door open for the others.
You watched them go but then Gojo was on you next, eyebrows furrowed as he looked almost feral.
“You are okay…right?”
“Gojo!” Getou growled from the door.
“Just give me a second-” He snapped at Getou then looked back at you as he grabbed your face into his large hands, “Are you okay? Will you be okay?”
“Satoru… I just need some time...to myself…”
“How much time…?” he whispered sadly. His eyes then widened as he smiled, “You- you did your super move- aren’t you happy about that?”
You brushed your fingers upon his face, his psycho yandere side afraid you would drift during this weird time. “I’ll be fine Satoru…promise...then you can give me my gift… that you and Toji got for me…”
Gojo nodded but he still didn't move away from you. Getou had to come in and drag the alpha from your bed.
“Let’s go!”
“Wait!” Gojo whimpered as he went.
The noise had you shooting up, “I love you!” You shouted just as the door shut.
You sat staring at the door for a while, hearing your alphas shouting at each other within the hall.
Falling into bed you lift one of the pillows and press it on top of your head so you can drown out the noise.
You just wanted…to be alone…
Within this moment you could almost imagine you were back home, cuddled up in bed. Your phone sitting beside you on its charger, notifications waiting for your lazy ass to open them. Your computer fans struggling because you left the game on and it can’t handle all the mods you downloaded. The smell of your takeout sitting on your nightstand. Your TV playing your favorite opening to Naruto.
You were enjoying imagining a different time.
A time before you got transported into this game.
You wished you were there now…more than ever...
