“Perhaps…I’ll have to use it to my benefit, and try to cast it again. Although I’m not sure what spell it was…I heard the name before I passed out. I just… can’t remember…”

You nodded, thinking about the situation. Now you have more questions. If this was a spell Nanami had why hadn’t it ever been cast in the game? “Do you feel it? Your light magic?”

Nanami reached his hand up, eyes closed as he searched his curse energy. “Hm…I’m not sure…it’s hard to tell…”

“What does it feel like?”

“I feel…a sense of warmth…but it feels far away…if that even makes sense…”

“Can you grab it?”

Nanami closed his hand as if he had grabbed something but then he opened his eyes and hand, “No…it’s too far away.”

“We will have to look more into it…maybe your family could shine some light on this? Were they a part of the church? Perhaps they passed it down?”

“I’m not sure, my parents are no longer around…but I do not recall them having light magic…and I do not have any other relatives…”

That’s right, most of the alphas’ parents have already passed away. (Except for Toji’s father…but he could rot for all you care.) “Nanami you are Nanami! Sukuna, that wouldn’t be it.” You speak sternly, so your blonde didn’t have an identity crisis.

“Just saying.” Sukuna shrugged.

“What if he’s dead!” Gojo poked at Nanami expecting it to go through, but then looked at him with a suspicious glare as he kept poking him. “Hmm. Then maybe this is all an illusion~”

“That is a stupid theory Gojo.”

“Well everyone can either believe it or not believe it but this mother fucker might not be real!”

“Technically we all aren’t real if you think about it.”

“Is any of this real?”

“My alphas you are too much.” You sigh shaking your head as you make your way to the girls’ tents. One was pink and one was purple. You paused for a moment, and your alphas' talking became background noise. “Girls? We are going to be leaving soon please come out and eat.”

After a few moments, one tent rustled a bit until brown hair popped out.

“Morning Mimiko.” You smiled softly, “What would you like to eat? My alphas gathered a few things for you to choose from.” As you spoke you noticed her eyes going to her sister’s tent.

“Um…anything is fine…” She spoke softly.

“Okay, well come on, let’s get you some food and get ready to go.”

The pup crawled out but she didn’t walk to your pack. You noticed her gaze was on Toji, and the alpha noticed too.

He coughed as he stood up,” I’m gonna scout the area, let me know when you guys are ready.”

You gave him a little nod as he walked out of your camp. “Can one of you guys go with him? I don’t want him to be alone.”

“Yeah, I got it.” Sukuna scarfed the rest of his food down while following after your alpha.

After the two left you nod your head toward the others. “Go on.”

Mimiko cautiously walked toward your other alphas stopping right behind Getou. You watched as the alpha handed her some food. She bowed whispering out a ‘thanks’ then took her food to sit at the base of a tree, away from the others.

It would take some time for her to relax, but it seemed like it would take extra time for her sister. Looking at the pink tent you called to the girl.

“Nanako?”

“…”

Yet there was no answer.

You knew she heard you. You had to take a deep breath. Knowing that she's just a pup who was emotionally hurt by the situation was understandable… but she has put herself, her sister, and your pack in danger. Your understanding and tolerance of such bratty behaviour can only go so far.

“Nanako. We will be leaving in thirty minutes. If you want to eat you'd better eat now and use the restroom because we are not stopping until late afternoon.” With those words, you turn on your heels and sit by the campfire with your alphas. (who were eyeing you).

You send the alpha a little playful glare but then you hear shuffling behind you. Looking over your shoulder you watched as Nanako threw open her tent and stomped out. She had a burnt blueberry smell to her.

Nanami gathered some food while speaking, “Nanako do you want-”

“I don’t care.” The girl huffed without stopping. Continuing to the designated bathroom.

You stared after her as the bushes rustled and settled with her disappearance.

“Make sure she doesn't make a run for it…” You muttered.

This was going to be a long journey.

I wanted to do an audio section for the story so you guys can listen to it but the speaker messes up some of the words so I would have to go in and like… make it sound right if that makes sense? If that is something you guys want me to do I can edit the chapters so it will sound right when you listen to it!
