House of Alphas Chapter 159: Steady (Patreon)
Content
You hadn't opened the letter from Dove yet. You wanted to consult your alphas before messing with it.
You found everyone in front of the castle ready to leave. Mei Mei was ushering the rest of your group out. She was probably sick and tired of the destruction coming to her property.
Your men and maybe to-be man...were lined up, listening to Momo as she shouted at them with a point of her finger and a shake of her pigtails, “Are you all kidding me?! Why didn't you say something sooner?”
“I have everything under control.” Getou was looking at his nails like a sassy king.
“And how is that going?” Momo countered.
"As good as it can be with accepting someone with alpha traits!" He huffed.
"We are trying Momo." Nanami added. “It is no easy task.”
“Trying for what?” You questioned.
“Choso’s integration into your pack.” Maki stated. “It looks like you guys are having some trouble."
“Oh-“
"It’s going better than I thought. I honestly thought he would have been dead by now." Inumaki mused.
"Tragic." Someone in your pack muttered.
“I’m grateful for every breath I take.“ Choso seemed to agree with the sentiment!
"Ha! Well-We are working on getting Choso accepted. And now we need him more than ever. I found some LIFE-THREATENING things that require Choso's aid. And-and-" Your tone turned accusingly. "Wait- what do you mean you thought he would be dead Toge? Weren't you the one who vouched for the alpha introduction strategy?"
The beta shrugged, "I know. But I thought you’d have failed."
"Not me!" Momo stated proudly.
“I must also learn so I can be acquainted with my brother's partner.” Todo grabbed Yuji around his shoulder.
“That’s not the type of relationship we have.” Yuji pushed the alpha aside.
“Wh-what you don’t want me as part of your pack?! I can protect you!”
“No thanks.” Yuji shrugged, “You can be pack adjacent.”
“You are just saying that now- you don’t mean it! We can have a beautiful future- just like Choso we need to find ways to accept each other!”
“I don’t think any of them want you Todo.”
The alpha fell to his knees with tears in his eyes, “But what about our dream pack?” He opened a pocket watch that had a drawn family picture of Todo, Junpei (as a curse), Yuji, Megumi, and his idol Takada. All smiling with a grin far too big making it look uncanny.”
“What the hell!”
“Todo when did you even get that made?!”
“Dude, that’s extra levels of creepy!”
“I want a restraining spell against him.”
“This is the power of my love! I will show you I can be a great alpha for you all, just you wait! Right Choso?!”
Choso’s lip curled, “We are not dealing with the same thing.” He sounded disgusted to even be grouped with the alpha.
“Is there something wrong with me?” Todo questioned, with tears in his eyes.
“What isn’t wrong with you?” Mai sighed pushing into her eye sockets.
“Anyways~” Nobara shook her head, “You guys are just going about it wrong, I have seen many witches who hate each other get over their differences. That is one thing I can say about our family, they learn how to deal with everyone."
"Are you sure it wasn't the laughing leaves?” Panda joked.
"We aren't touching that shit, and we are banning it once we return." Sukuna declared.
"Banning it?" You echoed.
“That’s what I said.”
"You can't do that just because of m- oh- other people use it medically! Don't ban it."
You saw tension from your alphas. OMT-they were acting like if you saw the damn leaves you’d tweak the fuck out.
“It does do a lot of good if used properly, same with any other medication.” Nobara tried to change their mind.
“You could be hurting a lot of people with that ban, and not just those who created it…Shoko uses it for her patients even if they are unaware of its true origin. I hope you don’t go through with it.” Notoroshi commented.
“Exactly.” You wanted them to hear the conviction in your tone. Not everyone was you.
Nanami grabbed your horse, “Then it will be banned in our home, I don’t want any of it near our pack.”
“Sure thing, we don’t have any on us.” Nobara opened her hands defensively.
“Same here. I don’t touch that stuff.” Maki mirrored.
Mai wordlessly pulled out her pockets so no one would even question her.
“You?” Toji gestured to Notoroshi.
“None.” The beta concluded.
Panda’s head was down as he said, “I have some that I use for cooking- n-not for its effects! But for taste…I will get rid of it immediately.”
“Do that now.”
You felt shame that you were the reason they were acting this way.
“If you do not mind me asking, why the uproar?” Notoroshi questioned.
“Are you banning it because of what happened with G.Ma?” Nobara added with a pinch of sadness in her tone.
“No. We came across it and experienced bad effects. Our omega is highly allergic to it.” Getou lied so smoothly.
Highly -allergic. The statement alone made you want to laugh.
Goodness, your alphas.
You couldn’t imagine what would occur if you disclosed your allergies.
Allergic to cats? Dogs? Peanuts?
Wiped off the land and sea.
Extinction.
If it were up to them.
“I’m sorry to hear that, we won’t have any near your omega.” The betas bowed politely.
“Thanks.” You smiled awkwardly. Now they might think that if it touched you you’d combust and die.
“Are we ready?” Megumi questioned, perched upon his horse.
Todo walked by with a large cartoonish bump on his head. You don’t know who hit him but your guess was probably Megumi. He was a feisty beta.
“Yes let’s go home! I’m tired of the cold.”
“I couldn’t agree more my friend, how I can’t wait to return to the sun.” Getou smiled as if he could feel the rays bless him now.
“Then you will complain about it being too hot.”
“Shut up.”
“Hopping into the cool waters on a nice day.” Momo gushed. “I can’t wait for you guys to see the palace!” She looked at the others.
“I’m excited, I have never been so far away from home.” Nobara’s smile was soft but you could see and hear the uncertainty in her voice.
She has this freedom but at what cost?
Changing how people felt about witches was a task that might be too tall right now especially with the issue you are dealing with the main family. You hoped to give the good witches a home within your kingdom.
So they felt safe.
No wonder Nanami ordered the people to build more space. You were gathering an army of a pack.
“We will discuss more about your situation at our next stop. I’ll help you guys no problem!” Momo saluted as she climbed upon her steed.
“Where did you get your information from?” Nanami questioned.
“Um- I well… I just have ideas!”
“Porn books.” Inumaki stated.
“Pfft-“ you and the others began to laugh as the girl blushed.
“First off they are called SMUT BOOKS! And these are different! I’ve read plenty of ROMANCE novels about alphas fighting over an omega and how they came together- and it is beautiful!”
“Thank you, Coach Momo.” You laughed as your eyes moved to the girl who was behind her.
Mai.
Your beta was presenting her essay on why her solutions would work while the others looked less than convinced.
Mai wasn’t as engaged in the conversation, she was like a fly on the wall. Rolling her eyes for the most part, or looking uninterested. Before you could stop yourself from jumping to conclusions, you somersaulted.
Was Mai sent here to spy on you?
Or perhaps destroy you…
“One of her books the omega got with an alpha who was made out of sticks.”
“Shut up Inumaki!”
~
You made it to your first stop.
Everyone was setting up camp, preparing food, and scouting the area to make sure it was safe.
It felt busy.
Like before.
You enjoyed this busyness, but you still had a sinking feeling in your gut.
About a certain beta.
You don’t like feeling like someone was tricking you but that’s what this felt like. You had your suspicions about her. You wanted to believe she was here for a greater good or some form of character development…but that could be your mind craving the idea to be true.
No matter, you cannot allow anyone to hurt your pack.
If she is here for notorious reasons, you will deal with her swiftly.
You don’t have the pleasantries of being naive.
“Nanami can you walk with me? I wanted to gather supplies.”
“Of course.” Your blonde stood to follow you out of camp.
You looked over your shoulder making sure you were far enough away before you presented the mail you received.
“Who is this from?” He questioned looking it over.
“Dove. Don’t open it yet, I want you to check to see if you notice anything off about it.”
You blonde flipped it over, sideways, and every which way but he shook his head, “Is there something wrong with it?”
“I don’t know. Poko, Mahito’s bird, was on his way to me when I saw him fall out of the sky. Except it was like something pulled him. I went to check on him and before I could even make it he flew back up and came to me as if nothing happened.”
Nanami furrowed his brows, “That is very strange…I would say someone was trying to steal it, but to have the letter here in hand…hm…another situation could be they replaced the letter… however it smells like the other one we had retrieved… and the seal isn’t broken.”
“Yeah, isn’t it so strange? The thing is… I know what I saw but I don’t have any proof of the matter.“
“Maybe the person changed their mind. Or, worst-case scenario they were able to mimic the seal perfectly.”
You slowly nodded, thinking this information over. “Or…what if they saw the bird and thought it was a monster? Mahito’s bird is hideous…”
“So they attacked the creature, realized the mistake, and then sent it back up?”
You frown, “I dunno Nanami…I think that’s what I want to believe…But I do not wish to be foolish. I feel… I just feel like I have to be critical of everything.”
“You have a suspect.” He stated knowing this to be true.
You briefly look around and step closer to your alpha, “I think it might be Mai. I saw her coming out of the woods and she was acting weird. I mean she never liked me to begin with and she was much closer to G.Ma. Maybe she didn’t actually get kicked out. Maybe she is here as an assassin.”
Nanami rubbed at his chin, “Noted. I'll keep an eye on her, collect whatever intel we need before making a move.”
“Ok, I just don’t want anything to happen so intervene before that. Tell the others but keep this on the low.”
Your blonde grabbed your shoulders pulling tou to his chest. “I understand you want to be safe, but I do recall this is supposed to be the time for you to relax, and yet you are already so tense.”
You huff, “There ain’t no rest for the wicked.”
“There is truth in that, however I want you to try to allow me to worry about this issue. I will ask Getou what he thinks of the letter, but give this problem to me.”
“I can try…but I don’t think I can ever relax Nanami.”
“I know. That’s why I asked you to try.” He smiled at you. “Did you enjoy your morning?”
“My morning ah….” Your face felt warm from the vision of this morning with Gojo and Getou plus one, “-It was nice. But I don’t think Toji was ready for what happened… You didn’t get upset with him about the damage he caused did you?”
Your blonde shook his head, “No. I expect more. That’s why I tried to hurry and leave. Mei Mei was going to increase her prices exponentially.”
“Oh yeah.” You laughed, “I’m excited to see what Momo has in store for us.”
“Agreed.”
“But um…If Toji doesn’t want to accept Choso then I don’t want to go through with it. That includes you as well. If this is too much then it’s done. Just say the word.”
Nanami kissed you. You didn’t know what it was portraying. So as he pulled back from the peck you tilted your head in confusion. Hoping he’d elaborate with his words.
“I know sweetheart I-“
“Ah!”
You heard a shout as Gojo came flying in, rolling upon the ground all the way to your feet before lying flat on his back. He had bumps and bruises all over him.
“Hey, sweetness.” He smiled while coughing up blood like an anime character.
“Satoru!” You gasped in shock kneeling before him.
“No-no don’t heal me.” He pushed your hand away as Sukuna walked out into the clearing. He had no marks on him.
“What are you two doing? Is this a spar?” You questioned as Sukuna picked Gojo up by the foot and began to drag him. Your alpha didn’t even fight back.
“Something like that.” Gojo gave you a thumbs-up right before he was tossed out into the forest like a rag doll.
“Punishment I presume?” Nanami stated as Sukuna looked at you.
“Yes. You gonna stop me? You know how to do it.” He stated with his hands on his hips. His posture challenging.
He was taunting you to use his collar.
“Hey! Are you guys being destructive again?!” Momo shouted.
“This is something different.” Nanami relayed.
“Well come on! I got my notes right here!” The girl waved a sparkly pink book that read ‘Momo’s Romance Extravaganza’.
She made a whole book?!
~
You were brought to an open area away from the others where Momo had spots for all of you to sit in a circle. You felt like you were in an AA meeting about to state your name and declare you are an alcoholic.
Therapist Momo sat down on a stump with her notes. You were across from her while your alphas filled the spaces in between. Toji, Sukuna, and Nanami were on one side while Getou, Gojo, and Choso sat on the other. Completing a full circle.
You noticed that Choso had an armful of dolls. But most importantly the wounds Gojo had. He looked rough.
“Can I heal Gojo now?” you asked before the meeting commenced.
“No.” Sukuna and Toji denied at the same time.
You frowned, but Gojo flashed you a smile. “I’m good baby. I deserved it.”
You don’t know how you could ever get over their way of punishment is to literally beat each other up.
“Alright!” Momo cleared her throat. “Thank you for coming! We will start with everyone stating how much they want to kill Choso- from one to ten. Gojo you go first.”
Starting strong.
Gojo hummed staring at Choso, the beta staring right back at him.
“We must be one hundred percent honest! It is important that we have ZERO MISCOMMUNICATION!” Momo yelled.
Guess she hates the miscommunication trope.
You giggled at the thought, awaiting your alpha to answer.
“Maybe like a four…four and a half.” He said tilting his hand back and forth.
That’s not too bad…
“She said be honest.” Sukuna scoffed.
“I am being honest!”
“You said you were feeling like killing him just yesterday.”
“Yeah, but that was before what happened last night! I told you guys I’m learning from my mistake!”
“…” Sukuna all but rolled his eyes.
Momo hopped up, “A four and a half… alright here you go.” She took a doll from Choso giving it a sniff test before handing it to Gojo. “Don’t hurt this!”
Gojo looked down at the doll and now that you were looking at it, it looked just like a little Choso.
“Next.” Momo pointed at Getou.
“Two.” Your alpha answered easily.
“Two?” Toji questioned with a raised brow. “From our alpha meeting, I would have thought you’d say zero.”
“To be honest, all of you sit at a two for me.” Getou joked as Momo gave him his doll.
“Even me?!” Gojo questioned.
“You sit at a ten.”
You giggled at the lightheartedness but you felt things were going to shift on the other side.
“Toji?” Momo moved on.
Your alpha looked a bit uncomfortable being put on the spot, rubbing his hand on his pants as he looked around at everyone with shifty glances, “Uh…I guess like…right now I’d say a six.”
“The door would say otherwise.” Sukuna inputed.
“Well…” Toji gulped looking at Momo, “…at that moment it was a ten. It’s just hard for me to allow him to be near her.”
“Don’t tell me tell your pack.” Momo stepped to the side with a gesture, Toji looking at you then dropping his head.
“I don’t want to kill Choso, but when I see him touch you I just...” he shrugged.
“Just what?” Momo pushed.
You could see the way Toji’s jaw tensed, he cleared his throat while grunting out, “I don’t know, I just want to kill him.”
“I told you not to watch.” Sukuna stated.
“…”
You felt sad seeing your alpha struggle to speak.
Momo picked up a doll and gave it to you, “Rub some of your scent on this.”
You did as instructed, speaking as Momo passed the doll to Toji. “Maybe, what we did was a bit too quick for you and that’s okay Toji. I should’ve slowed down, that was my fault. I just thought I had to be a little more straightforward so you didn't think I didn’t want Choso.”
“How do you know he thought that way?” Getou questioned.
You widened your eyes with a light gasp, “Ah- well- I-I just perhaps maybe- yeah.” You laughed awkwardly.
That got Nanami looking at you with a suspicious brow, “Were you eavesdropping?”
“I only heard a little bit!” You shouted defensively.
Your alphas looked at each other.
Honestly, you knew saying that would be ratting yourself out but you did it on purpose to get the attention away from Toji and hopefully put him in a more playful mood. You aren’t that silly. (Maybe sometimes). Unfortunately rolling yourself under the horse did not get him to perk up.
Your sacrifice was for naught.
“We will have that discussion later. I suppose it’s Sukuna's turn to share his rating?” Your blonde said and before Momo could say anything-
“Five. Nanami it’s your turn.” Sukuna stated swiftly as if he wanted to bypass his answer.
And maybe that’s because the rating was low. He was an honest alpha and perhaps deep down he wished that his need to kill Choso was higher.
“Aww~” Gojo stated what you were thinking, “I thought it would have been much higher than that. You are doing great Choso.”
“I was betting on a solid nine.” Choso was being serious, which probably made Gojo and Getou chuckle even more.
“Shut up four and a half.” Your alpha growled snatching his doll. “Do I have to hold this shit?”
“It’s part of the program Sukuna!” Momo stated then looked toward your blonde. “Nanami?”
Your blonde took a deep breath and confidently said, “Ten.”
TEN?!
You weren’t the only one shocked. The rest of your group were thrown off their horses.
Sukuna let out a chuckle like it was a joke then he said, “You serious?”
“A ten?” Getou questioned incredulously.
Gojo picked up his rock and scooted away from Choso. “He’s all yours.”
“Do you wish to duel?” Choso questioned.
“I think those were fighting words.”
“No.” Nanami crossed his arms, “The question was how much I want to kill you not if I would.”
Momo popped her lips, “Nanami-Ah ok I guess I should have worded it differently for you. Sooo, what are the chances that you would try to kill Choso?”
“Zero.”
“How do you go from ten to zero?” Gojo threw up his hands.
“I would kill anyone who wants to be with her. This situation however is much more complex in a way that I must put that feeling aside. My love for her is greater than my desire to cut Choso into tiny pieces. Therefore I won’t act on it.”
“Nanami…” You had no idea that’s how he truly felt. You knew he was more laid-back about Choso but you didn’t realize once again he was pushing his true feelings aside for you.
“Do not look sad for me sweetheart. I wish for you to be happy and healthy. Choso benefits the cause. Until he shows me otherwise I will refrain from killing him. And don’t you dare think I’m setting my feelings aside or sacrificing anything. I do it because I want to. Do you understand?”
You nodded your head tearing up a bit, “I-I understand Kento.” You sniffled. He stood and came to you. Using his handkerchief he wiped your tears gently, you leaned into his touch, looking at him with adoration. “Thank you…” You meant that in more ways than one. You were overly grateful to him as a whole. Grateful to have such a kind and gentle alpha like Nanami Kento.
Momo had her book to her lips, looking teary-eyed like a proud parent. “And that is what this is all about. Very well said Nanami.” Wiping some tears from her eyes Momo gave Nanami his Choso doll, “This is what it’s all about. You guys are here together because of your love for Raven! That’s what connects you all! Toji, how do you feel right now when you see Nanami with Raven?”
Toji sat up, caught off guard, “Huh- um.” He fidgeted, “Fine.”
“You didn’t feel like killing Nanami when he touched her?”
Your alpha shook his head no.
“Why?”
“I just didn’t.”
“Why.” This time it was Getou who asked.
“I just answered the question.” He huffed out in irritation.
“No you didn’t.” Getou countered, “But maybe I could help you. You like how Nanami takes care of her yes? You probably liked how he wiped her tears so sweetly and made her smile.”
“Sure.” Toji shrugged.
“Ok but why? Why do you feel that way?”
Sukuna grunted, “Because it's some stupid shit he’d do.”
“Right?” Getou pushed.
“If you guys know everything then why ask me?” Toji growled out.
“Ok! It’s ok.” You tried to cut in as Momo backed away from your alpha. “Toji…” You looked at him with a soft gaze.
“My bad I’m- I just think this is stupid.”
“So you think taking care of her is stupid?” Choso questioned.
That had him really snarling, “I didn’t fucking say that!”
“Then stop acting like a pup.” Sukuna hissed at him. “You like when Nanami takes care of her in a way that youwould. You like it because you like seeing her happy. You like pampering and spoiling the shit out of our omega. How hard is that to say?”
“I’m not a spoiled little shit.” You pout trying to make jokes in the situation, everyone was dogpiling on Toji and you were afraid he might lash out. Causing this little session to do more harm than good.
“Is that why you disobeyed Nanami when he told you to be a good little bird?” Getou smiled mischievously. “I don’t think she feels obligated to listen to us.”
“That- well that’s not it at all! I was feeling left out!”
“It was an alpha meeting for a reason. My oh my it would seem you will need to be punished, Toji you should punish her.” Getou pointed.
Your alpha looked confused, “Why would you want me to do that? You do it.”
“I don’t wish to do it in too dainty, Nanami is too busy, Gojo is hurt and Sukuna is always the one to punish her so it’s not fair for him. Maybe Choso can do it. What would you do if our omega is being naughty? Would you spank her till she can’t sit anymore? Or perhaps clamp her nipples and clit till they are sore? Make her cry and beg for mercy?”
You gulped in fear- hold on now!
Choso looked shocked, “I-“ he shook his head quickly, “I would never be able to do that. I couldn’t. I couldn’t punish her. Ever. I could hardly be upset with her.”
“Why?”
“I don’t- I don’t like to see her cry…or sad…or hurt…”
“And how did you feel when Nanami was with her, did that make you want to kill him?”
“No…I like seeing her smile… and how much she loves and is loved… she deserves it all…she deserves to be doted on.”
As he spoke you could see recognition in Toji’s eyes as if he realized that perhaps Choso had just spoken the words he himself was searching for.
As for you, you were feeling shy and squirmy by the way Choso spoke about you. It made your heart skip.
Sukuna shook his head, “My Tengen. Is there anyone in this pack that has the knot to actually dish out some discipline?”
Choso looked upset, “Why would we need to do that? She’s perfect.”
“I’m not perfect.”
“So you agree, you need punishments.”
“What the- I don’t want to be punished either!”
“Food is readyyyy!” Yuji shouted.
“Thank you!” You and a few others shouted back.
Momo clapped her hands with her book, she had gone quiet when you all started to go back and forth but now she was back to being spunky, “Phew-I think this is a good first step! Keep those dolls and remember do not destroy them!”
“Yes ma’am.” Gojo stood and then groaned, hand to his chest. “Fuck.” He limped forward.
“Can I heal him now?” You questioned again.
“Let us vote, I say heal him.” Getou raised his hand.
“Me too.” Gojo croaked with a weak hand raise.
“I vote yes.” You stated with firmness, “He learned his lesson guys.”
“No.” Toji said.
Sukuna shook his head, “Let him bask in his pain for the rest of the day.”
“I’d say longer, a day is light.” Nanami stated with a glare.
“Ah looks like we have a tie, Choso it seems you will have to vote.” Getou sighed.
“I get a say?” Choso questioned.
“Seeing as this is a stalemate, you can cast your vote.” Nanami agreed.
Choso looked Gojo over, “Are you going to try to kill me if I answer against you?”
“Yes-“
“No he won’t.” Getou interrupted Gojo.
“Answer honestly.” Toji challenged.
“Choso, he’s learned his lesson.” You smiled at him knowing he’d be on your side with just a twinkle of your eye. He’d do anything for you.
“No.”
Oh dear how wrong you were.
“Good choice.” Getou grinned.
“Whose side are you on?!” Gojo growled at him.
“Wait- you aren’t just saying that because of- you know other factors are you?” You questioned the beta, shifting your gaze between him and your more scary alphas.
“He made his choice stop trying to manipulate him brat.” Sukuna butted in.
“I’m not! I just want to make sure you didn’t try to punk him into siding with you!”
“I didn’t even say anything.”
“You might have looked at him funny!”
“If he’s being swayed in any way, then that won’t do. Choso? Is this a personal decision?” Nanami raised a brow.
That seemed to make Choso irritated, “No amount of pressure from any of you would have made me answer differently. He almost killed her over a knot, let him suffer.”
“Fair fair… I guess I respect it…” Gojo shrugged.
“There you have it, come on Gojo I’ll help you to the camp.” Getou slipped Gojo’s arm around his shoulder.
“Raven.” Momo called you back as the others froze when you stopped moving. “I said, Raven! Go boys!”
“Wait before you guys all go- I want to say thank you for taking the time to have this discussion and participating.” You kissed Getou on his cheek first and then Gojo.
“It was fun.” Getou chuckled.
“For you.” Gojo muttered.
“It was no problem sweetheart.” Nanami commented as you gave him a thank-you peck.
“I just wanted you guys to know I really appreciated it.” You smiled, cupping Sukuna’s cheek and tiptoeing to kiss his cheek.
“Do I have to keep this stupid doll?”
“Yes Sukuna, maybe you will get an even better reward if you are a good alpha. As a matter of fact, if you all can go a week without harming the doll I’ll reward everyone.”
“Easy.”
“That’s for everyone though. This is a team effort!”
“Don’t mess this up Satoru.”
“Why would I mess it up?”
You moved to kiss Toji giving him an extra-long kiss as you patted his cheek sweetly, “Thank you alpha, I’m happy you joined us.”
“Yeah of course, sorry I said it was… stupid. I didn’t mean it toward you…”
“I know. It’s okay.” You moved away from him and found yourself looking at Choso. Momo gave you a little smile and a gesture of her head.
You took a step toward Choso, “Thank you for your um… your efforts in joining our pack.” You kissed your fingers and then placed them upon his cheek which instantly bloomed with warmth.
By the way his eyes sparked, you would have thought you actually kissed his cheek with your lips.
TEAR
You jumped at the noise, which sounded like fabric ripping. Turning around Toji had two halves of the Choso doll in separate hands. Split down the middle with cotton spilling out.
“TOJI!”
“My bad…”
“We aren’t ever going to make it to a week.”
“Should we jump him?”
“Don’t be upset with him guys, it’s okay. It’s better the doll than Choso. And this is still the first day! So your week starts as soon as Toji gets another doll.”
“I’ll get another made from Nobara.” Choso stated as he moved for camp.
“We will need the power of Tengen and anime on our side.”
You waved to your alphas before turning to Momo. Once the two of you were left alone you released a huge sigh, “I think that went pretty well. I guess those smut books really came in handy.”
“Oh come on Inumaki is giving me a bad spell! Some of the books I read the main characters don’t even kiss until the mating moon!” She pouted.
“Ah~ a good slow burn, huh?”
“Yes! And I think that’s what you need in this situation. The finger kiss was so cute and perfect!”
You laughed at how your biggest fan was rooting for you. “I’m doing my best. I just don’t know… I don’t want to make any of them feel as though they aren’t enough… I think that’s how Toji is viewing this…”
“Hmm… I can see that…in my books, the main person does their best to make sure no one feels left out or replaced.”
“I got a handful to deal with…” You hummed.
“I’m not going to lie, I thought it would have been Sukuna who was your hardest.”
“Yeah meeee too.”
The two of you shared a laugh and as you did you admired Momo. Feeling grateful for her. You gave her a hug catching her by surprise. “I’m so happy to have you back.”
“I’m happy to be back… I hope G.Ma will see reason…”
“…Me…too…”
“Hurry up the food is going to get cold!”
“We are coming!”
