Here's part 2!

Matt, Daniel, and Producer Adam answer your questions with the honesty and humility you can only get from three guys rushing to fill the gaping maw of the content monster before they leave for a weekend of sold out shows in New York (who also love the listeners and viewers).

re Zohran Mamdani, the day he’s on the pod is the last day of my Patreon support. He went from winning some hearts over arresting Netanyahu in 2024 to it would be Trumptian fascism to do so. What a heel turn. Max Blumenthal right. We didn’t celebrate because so many progressives have fallen in line

The question asked in the 30 minute mark is relatable in a work place as well. It rang something for me as it’s relatable in a work place. Perspectives of a Co-workers and even bosses who one can be chummy with can change. It wouldn’t be career disrupting when you talk to these coworkers/work relationships about Palestine, thankfully these people are (or don’t have to be) your friends. But you can’t decide who you work with. You can only change how you interact with them. Just keep it as a work relationship.

Just a theory

So many good questions (answers were good too).

While being more about Palestinian life, than the place of Palestine, "If I must Die", a book compiled by Refaat Alareer was incredibly moving.

Re the ‘Zionists will never change’ question at the end… first, I’d love to hear you guys talk more in depth about Zionism as a historical phenomenon—not only in the sense that it’s about 100 years old, but (think Daniel said this once), it was considered a weird, fringe interest by American Jews until the 60s/70s. Secondly, I disagree with beinart and Daniel too I guess concerning the importance of changing minds of Zionists. I think ultimately it will come down to disgust with Israel becoming so pervasive that the rah-rah Israel people will distance themselves from it out of shame. There is a LOT of heat coming from the Right, with respect to Israel, and that is a new phenomenon that is worth thinking about and strategizing over for those on the left.

I love Daniel going full Patrick Bateman explaining Hey 19

Johnny H.

Another book I can recommend for the reading list (and one I just finished recently) is Yahya Al-Sinwar’s “The Thorn and the Carnation”

I definitely thought of The Fractured But Whole as soon as you said that...
