BTB Codex - Timberwight (Patreon)

Undead constructs of scrap cloth, wood, straw and bone, Timberwights are a myth to many and a terrifying reality to an unfortunate few. Scouring farmland and country side at night, they attack passersby indiscriminately. With no known origin, there are many theories about where they could've come from or what could've made them. Vengeful wizards, natural ghostly occurrence, inter-dimensional invaders, plenty of theories. No matter the truth of their existence, one fact remains: When the fields glow with lantern light, get inside and stay a way from the windows.
