This keeps bringing a smile to my face, even if I wasn’t there. Hope to meet Sarah, Adam and the rest of this amazing community in person someday 🥰

Even mentioning grandpa Ukai's handshake makes me tear up now. We all want to movie to be longer. You really need to read this match in the manga after this, some delicious morsels are left in there.

I'm so glad this community got to meet, even if it wasn't all of us - thanks for bringing us together Sarah!! Love your thoughts on the movie, I had the same experience - the crying just never stopped, watching the movie on big screen made it 10 times harder to hold back the tears hahah<3 I truly hope I can meet you, Adam and everyone from this community! I will always appreciate your videos, and these vlog ones are so great too!<3

thanks for the vlog! i'm glad you liked the movie (and hoped you enjoyed ubugawa guy on the big screen lol). if you're up for it i strongly recommend reading this match in the manga cause a lot of material was cut for time. it goes deeper into the characters and strategies and is really excellent!

Yeesh what a good-looking community we’ve got here. ❤️❤️

That handshake moment has been living rent free in my head since the theater.

Kenma's "this is fun" moment and then Hinata and kuroo's reaction to that, it felt so satisfying to witness that!!! That is one of the most important moments of haikyuu for me. Glad to see it hit hard for anime only fans too!! And Ukai senior extending his hand, man that was insane story writing! And yes Sarah like everyone suggests, please read the manga for this match, there is a lot more story

I watched and cried…, listening to your comments and insights, I felt all the love for Haikyuu. Man I couldn’t stop crying when you mentioned nekoma coach 🥹😭 your vlog was such a treat after no good/ stressful day at work THANK YOU ❤️

I'm so happy to see you enjoyed the game with the community members 🤩 BTW how did you feel about the ending scene of the game like Kenma's 1st person POV, the flashbacks of the summer training camp, how the game ended etc.? For me, it was so well animated that I literally felt sick🤣

I've seen a few anime movies in theaters, but this is the first that I feel like I got much more enjoyment from watching it there, especially with the sfx. The sounds of the shoes squeaking on the floor and the sound of impact when they spiked/the ball hit the court had so much oomph i could feel it in my chest. I love this movie, but I have a feeling of dread because I don't think they can fully fit what is left in the series into 2 movies without cutting a lot.

What you felt in the cinema with all those people and what you feel when you sit next to adam and watch the show again, is why we watch reactions, we just love to share in the experience. Love to hear your thoughts on the Kenma POV scene.. I actually stopped breathing all through that.. an amazing choice by the animators and so perfectly done, to really immerse the watcher to the chaos of being in the middle of the court.

I wish I could be there 🥹🥹💕💕

I wish I could have gone. But it's a 3 hour drive across country borders and I had so little warning! I'm looking forward to this coming on Blu Ray and having you and Adam react to it together though!

After watching this movie I had really bad headache because of cry so hard. I'm really glad you enjoyed this movie.

So happy you loved the movie Sarah 😭 I really cannot wait for Adam to react to it, and for you to rewatch it again. But for now, i am desperately waiting for Adam to get to Season 3 😂😂😭😭

Gabriela Santos

I really liked the movie, loved how it was very Kenma focused and those POVs were awesome! Come to Barcelona to watch the next movie 😁

Vivien He

I wish I was in Toronto 😭

Sarah

Will do! We have a lot of manga to go through before getting to this part, but we will get there!

Sarah

I'm glad it could help make your day a little bit better!

Sarah

Ahhh!! The first-person POV was sooooo well done! I was not expecting that at all, but it felt so real, and the way it ended..... 😭

Sarah

I've been thinking the same thing. There are so many details we get to see when it's broken down into episodes. That movie felt soooooo short! I needed more.

Sarah

I agree with you. It was completely unexpected for me, but I loved it because we see those POV shots in small doses in the show, but never for a full play. It was excellent!

Sarah

We will have to plan something more official next time!

Sarah

Okay! No problem! 😃
