The conviction I had that the secret weapon was at the bottom of the hot spring... 🤦‍♀️ Welcome back to another episode of Predictions With Sarah!!

Who encountered Kokushibo, or the human version of him, in order to make that model?!?!

S3 E1: We have learnt our lesson to not prejudge the new hashira S3 E2: And have already forgotten our lesson :)

Love that Kotetsu was doing his best to help with Tanjiro's training even if the methods were a little questionable. Also, Kotetsu is voiced by Ayumu Murase who voices Hinata in Haikyuu.

These are the first kind of predictions I’ve heard people make about muichiro and I must say they are very interesting. I enjoyed hearing your thoughts on him. Although it’s very hard to hear people say things about him because he’s my favorite hashira. I don’t remember what I first thought of him when I watched demon slayer for the first time. His crow did get on my nerves though

Ashley hui

The introduction to Tokito can be super rough lol

Sarah

Omg 😂😂😂😂 it’s true!!

Sarah

Really?!?! I love that!

Sarah

He was definitely giving the impression that he thought he was better than Tanjiro… not loving that

MasterPpv

Oh yeah, listen to them back to back with your eyes closed and it becomes super obvious. Love how prolific a lot of the VAs are.

MasterPpv

I think the line from Tanjiro confirming there was no malice in his behavior helped me not utterly loathe him. His crow can eat my behind though XD

"The prodigy knockoff" oh wow, didnt know Emiya Shirou snuck into this show

[I posted this before I saw you brought up the Ushijima comparison yourself lol.] I would say Tokito has the worst initial impression of any Hashira yet(save for wind Hashira), but in a way he reminds me a bit of Ushijima. He isn't mean or cruel because he wants others to feel bad, he is just blunt and honest to the absolute extreme. The more you take a Hashira's time, the slower they are to go to the next mission, to kill the next demon, to save another life, etc. (I will say tho while him being blunt is similar Ushijima, Ushijima will apologize for his lack of tact and has some self awareness of this, unlike Tokito who donesnt care at all about you being offended by his words.) He is also the Hashira that Uzui was mentioning became a Hashira two months after first picking up a sword, compared to the two years it took Tanjiro to become bottom of the demon slaying ranks. He believes he is better than the other demon slayers because categorically he is(as far as skill in slaying demons for the time spend training is concerned). Regardless of all the context he is, unintentional or not, a jerk to people and his crow is THE WORST.

Wait until you learn Tokito’s backstory😉 Also, if you go back to the episode in Season 1 when we’re introduced to the Hashiras, you’ll remember that Tokito suffers from something similar to amnesia. He has difficulty in keeping his memory, he can’t remember what he’s just learned a minute ago, so that’s why he doesn’t know who Tanjiro is nor he remembers Nezuko is a demon. When someone has no memory of his or her past at all, there must be a good reason for that.

i would like for Sarah to remember her words about how Muichiro was "stroked and told how amazing he is his whole life" HAHHAHAHAHA SARAH SARAH SARAH I feel like Sarah will always say something she will regret in the future when it comes to demon slayer xD

Ignacio Garcia

Adam: I feel like... What's his name? Sarah: Tokito? Adam: No, the other Hashira Sarah: Tokito? Adam: I feel like Tokito... My man going on a loop

Sarah

hahahah I knew someone would reference Ushijima!!!

Sarah

I knew someone would say something about that.... I was thinking the same thing as I went through the episode again. I KNOW that will come back to bite me

Adam Schulz

Definitely did not make a good first impression lol

Adam Schulz

Nope! lol. One of the things I’m loving about demon slayer is meeting the characters where they are when they age introduced and then changing my opinion as we see them in action.

Adam Schulz

New characters are always rough lol. I might get there by the end of the arc lol

Ashley hui

Same as Uzui 😂😂😂😂

weezy

I think some ppl have hinted in the comments, but they really do set you up to dislike the hashira don’t they? Hahaha I’m not gonna say anything more because it would all be spoilers!

Evan

I don't know if this was mentioned yet so i apologize if i repeat, but the voice actor for Genya(Messy Face Dude) is Nishinoya from haikyuu as well!

Sarah

Don't count on it

Sarah

Damn.... the Demon Slayer x Haikyu!! crossover is crazy!

Angeli Rafer Art

x) Not episode related but the doggo analogy is perfect ! But also, gotta love how Kotetsu is a little training demon himself--its all with good intentions though hehe
