Hey, just a two points I think you guys missed! • Relinquishing control of the Death Note gets rid of all the memories that INVOLVE the Death Note! So Light genuinely does not remember all the people that he has killed. He is essentially no longer Kira • Ryuk pretty much said that he would not be assisting/of help to Light at all. He is only there to govern the state of the Death Note i.e. if it gets filled out, or if the owner no longer wants to use it. So, it is most likely not Ryuk who is doing the killing It’s a really information heavy show that I had to rewatch in order to fully comprehend. I really enjoy watching y’alls analysis and predictions of what’s going to happen!
