Can I recommend School babysitters? It’s a short, 12 episode anime, but it’s so adorable 🥰 It’s about two recently orphaned brothers given a home and tuition to a prestigious academy - under the condition that the elder brother works at the school's daycare centre.

I wanna recommend a show just for you two to maybe try on your own time. It's called Hajime no Ippo. It's a boxing anime that follows a teenager to eventually a young man's boxing career. It has a lot of comedy and a lot of wisdom regarding the sport and athleticism in general. It is a little older, with the anime starting in 2000, but it aged well and it looks crisper as time goes on. I boxed but never played VB. Even so I loved Haikyuu and really liked seeing VB players perspectives on the show. It was so interesting to see how the same emotions that all athletes share are interpreted so differently and manifest so uniquely within each sport. Especially solo sports to team sports. If you guys do check it out, I hope you have the same kind of experience :)

If I could recommend some of my fav short 1 season shows would be: 1️⃣Odd Taxi 2️⃣ * the most similar to spy family vibe - “The Great Pretender” 3️⃣Erased 4️⃣Angel Beats But I am looking forward to another new series to watch, you guys are spoiling us with new reactions! 😁

I hope one day you guys decide to watch Sk8 the Infinity 🙏 It was my comfort anime before Haikyuu (which is now my comfort anime). It's only 12 episodes long and it's so touching and sweet. I highly recommend 'Baccano!' even though it isn't in the list, as it is a truly high-quality anime. It is adapted from a light novel, which makes it different from many other anime that are based on manga. One of the most interesting aspects is that the story is set during the Prohibition era in the United States, while the characters are designed with traits commonly seen in Japanese works, they are placed within an American historical context, creating a unique and bold narrative. The author, Ryohgo Narita, excels in crafting complex, multi-threaded storylines that eventually converge, which requires the viewer to engage deeply and think critically, especially in the early episodes.

These are all definitely a BIG genre change from previous shows you and Adam have watched together. I'm curious to see if you two will enjoy more cutesy slice of life anime. Of these choices, I would say that Barakamon is the most substantive. Definitely cried a lot of tears watching that show. Probably won't win since it's a little older, but it's an all-timer.

Barakamon has the same energy as Spy x Family, I love it! I DNF Yuri on Ice because I felt like there's going to be boy on boy romance, ewww.. not for me. (Tbh though, I am not really sure but I didn't even bother to check bec I didn't like thinking about it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ correct me if I'm wrong and I will watch it again and finish it.
