I'm not gonna lie... I love that L refuses to let Light off the hook for being Kira, even though evidence keeps building that is making him look more and more innocent 😈

L knows exactly the right things to say to get people to do what he wants. I am equal parts terrified and impressed.

I have a feeling the two of you would have a good time looking into ethical philosophy… for example variations on the trolley problem. The best and most entertaining book I know is Michael Shur’s ‘How to be Perfect’. The audio book is much better than written version as the narration is so much fun.

That will send me down a rabbit hole I think...

My question for Sarah, can you name truly evil characters that you like? Because it sounds to me that you just don't like villains which is totally noble, your morals are non-negotiable even in a make-believe world. Me, I love villains, give me Kira, give me Joker, give me Littlefinger, give me any character that uses cunning to achieve their goals and foil the hero. I may not agree with their morals but goddamn I respect their game.

(I’m behind on the death note reactions so maybe you guys won’t see this comment BUT) I like to think that at one point in his career L would’ve been trying his best to reduce the amount of deaths that could happen, or if Kira was a normal killer. But I like to imagine that L, who is the BEST 3 detectives in the WORLD because of his aliases, and actually has it all figured out (he knows it’s Light and now Yotsuba), he must be intrigued enough by this investigation to NEED to know how it’s happening. This is probably the only case that he’s not bored by because he’s such a genius.
