I have so many questions about this new Hate demon. Is Fear the true essence of Upper Four or is Hate? I'm assuming it's Fear, but now I'm doubting myself.

Can the different emotions combine in different forms, or do the initial 4 always combine to create Hate? Is Hate stronger than the Fear demon?

How is this happening?!?!

Inosuke and Haganezuka are so baby girl with their masks off. If they didn't have unbelievably gravely voices and body builder physiques they'd fair well in the entertainment district

Haganezuka's face reveal is always a shocker lolll. The hatred demon has one of the best designs in the entire series imo!

Not me immediately thinking of the George Weasley ear joke when Sarah mentioned Genya being a little ‘holely’ in the intro. 👀😉 One of the reasons I love the design of Upper Four is how it materializes and reflects emotions. Hatred, being such a strong emotion, usually stems from rage and consumes all other feelings. This episode literally shows hatred being generated by rage absorbing three emotions—except fear. Fear, as an instinctive emotion, protects us from harm

about the red eyes: remember that earlier in the season it was mentioned that Muichiro was a descendant of sun-breathing users, which may explain his natural sword abilities, and i think it was said that red coloration in the eyes/hair (like tanjiro's) was a marker of sun breathing lineage

You said the message is entirely non-spoiler, but then you talk about a character who is not introduced until next episode. What you posted was a very interesting read, but perhaps you should have waited one more week before posting this? I don't know their screening process regarding comments, but if they read this message before watching the 8th episode, won't they be confused who is the other character you mentioned alongside Muichiro?

Vu D

Didn't they already go over the [redacted character] in Muichiro's flashback to the scene with the mother becoming demon? I recall Sarah and Adam mistaking her for a wolf or something if I haven't gone crazy and hallucinated all that o_O EDIT: Oops that was Genya lmaoo. I guess I'll hold onto the text for another week then.

I can finally share the following information with you. Previously, when providing the explanatory details, I avoided mentioning it to prevent spoilers. Zohakuten (憎珀天) Zohakuten is the amalgamation of all of Hantengu's emotional aspects (憎,loathe), created when Sekido absorbs Karaku, Urogi, and Aizetsu, forming his strongest manifestation. Using the drum on his back, Zohakuten can summon a wooden dragon to fight, while also wielding all the abilities of the other four clones, but with significantly greater power. However, maintaining Zohakuten is extremely draining, so Hantengu only resorts to this trump card when his main body is in extreme danger. Kyok (怯) Kyok is Hantengu's main body, representing his true emotion—cowardice (怯). He is extremely small in size, moves very quickly, and excels at fleeing. His neck is incredibly tough, making it difficult to decapitate. As long as Kyok is not beheaded, the other clones will not disappear, even if they are decapitated.

Today it is incredibly cold and it's raining here, I'm down it a heavy cold myself and all I can do is stay in bed and read or watch videos. Thank you Sarah and Adam for all your work and for always being so nice. Sometimes it's nice to be reminded of the good you do for others. Thank you.

First time viewer I'm only 6 minutes into your reaction and I'm already terrified LOL. I really needed that pause to catch my breath.
