You know we love a twist, and this epsiode dealt two of them! First, with Yurio showing up, and then Victor's sneaky move when choosing the Yuris' short programme music.

This is gonna be verrrrrrry interesting 😏

Sarah, you're right! Tke voice actor for Tsukishima is actually Yurio🤗! I also hope you'll enjoy the soundtrack as every single song and tune on the entire soundtrack was composed and written specifically for this anime.

Yuri P. IS Tsukishima (voice actor Kōki Uchiyama) Sarah! you deserve a gold medal in voice recognition!

I haven't watched "Yuri On Ice" in so long, I'm enjoying watching it again with you guys. I have bad memory, so it's like watching it for the first time lol

I can't wait to hear what coach Adam has to say about Yurio's development! You both are going to love the way all the characters acknowledge their mindset and grow (even if it's slow growth) in this show. As for the weight loss... one thing I love about anime is that we animate how things feel instead of how they look. Ten pounds of depression weight will make you feel like a seal. Lol. The weight gain felt enormous to Yuri because some part of him recognized that it was a sign that he was giving up.

I'm so glad you guys are enjoying this. Love Yuri on Ice 🥰

Oh I love Viktor as a character but imagine having him as a real life coach 🤣🤣🤣 it will be pure suffering

I've only seen YOI once and it was a few years ago so I don't remember very much (barely anything at all honestly) and forgot how funny it is. So nice to rewatch it with you guys. I was so caught off guard by Viktor's comments to Yuri lol. I would not want to have him as a coach.

also hehe, love that you're picking up on recurring voice actors. Kindaichi and Tsukishima's voice actors were the first voice actors whose voices I was immediately able to pick up when watching other anime series. Though the first time I heard their work was in Orange for Kindaichi's voice actor Furukawa Makoto and Horimiya for Tsukishima's voice actor Uchiyama Koki. My favorite voice actor is Hanae Natsuki! He voices Tanjiro (Demon Slayer) and Hoshiumi (Haikyuu), as well as the character in my profile picture, Riddle (Twisted Wonderland).

Sarah

I'm recognizing voices!!!! 💃 💃 💃

lmao the edits are killing me
