Adam already scouting for drafts 🤣 "game recognizes game 😀"

I think Hinata bows to Hoshiumi out of respect for the answer he gave to the reporter. He's used to hear the same stuff over and over so he saw himself there. As for apologizing to the reporter, that's a good thing too because she's clearly a rookie, nervous and inexperienced. Don't forget this scene. I can't tell you anything other than don't forget it :) Happy weekend!

3 takeaways this episode. Bokuto is undeniably Bokuto for better or for worse (still top 5), Hinata has a tangible goal he can work towards now that he's seen hoshiumi is action and Tanaka needs a dating coach. Great episode and reaction

Hahah I’m laughing so hard at Sarah looking like she wants to implode during Bokuto’s “hey hey hey!” 😆😆 I especially love both of your commentaries on him. I’ve always been neutral about Bokuto, I enjoyed that his character was unique and offered a different perspective as a type of player and person, but never thought much beyond that. But you’ve both changed my mind about him a bit, thinking about how it would be to really be on a team with someone DOES sound incredibly frustrating. Just another reason I love your reactions. As always, hearing the real life player experience adds so much life to the show and to my understanding of the sport in general. Ohh and I loved everything with Hinata and Hoshiumi in this episode!! I’ll have to keep my mouth shut for a while on all of my Hoshiumi thoughts, but seeing their budding Little Giant rivalry here and then how quick Adam was to want to snatch him up for the draft is getting me so excited!

Esquirebob

Hoshiumi's highlight reel has to be my favorite animated segment in the entire show. It's SO incredibly well done, AAAA i get goosebumps every time. It's the moments like this as to why I think it's crazy people say this season has bad animation haha.

Hoshiumi vs Ushijma in the season 4 draft is gonna be hilarious, I can already predict 🤣

Sylvia ZX

Now we can finally tell Adam that the VA for Hoshiumi also played Tanjiro 😁

Lixien

Hinata would never get demotivated by seeing Hoshiumi, the shows makes it a possibility but when you think about it it's ridiculous to think that would pass through his mind. Even before seeing him, he started to play Volleyball because of the previous Little Giant. And since then, he always believed he could become a good player. But he always had that small insecurity deep down in him. I think having Hoshiumi literally in front of him just erased that completely, it's like confirmation of his beliefs.

Adam already asking for Hoshiumi on the draft has me on tears LMAO

Ashley hui

Adam is so ready 😂

Bokuto’s “thing” is so hilarious to us viewers but I can’t imagine how to deal with someone like these in real life lol

MKG

I love finding out little nuggets of info like this!

bungi

adam's reaction to tanaka having no game is everything lmaoooo it's almost the same as the underhand serve

I forgot they don't tell you Bokuto's full name in the anime... it's Yuji Bokuto Nishida😂. Q for mostly Sarah (add in Adam bc he's now getting annoyed w Bokuto)- how do you feel about Nishida? I think he's really fun/exciting to watch, but definitely has that HEYHEYHEY in him. Nishida's massive presence also seems to shrink more noticeably than other players when in a rut. Of course he's doesn't have a Bokuto-Emo mode, but just curious what you think about his court demeanor. I think it's easy to love his game, (same with Bokuto when he's playing well- in Tokyo camp Sensei/Ukai's discussion on how he's the type of player you cheer for even when he's on the other team) but I can see how he could rub ppl the wrong way. I'm sad Bokuto's full arc is likely going to be left out with how little time one movie gives them to complete Haikyuu. From the end of the recent movie to the end of the story there's easily 2 seasons worth of amazing Haikyuu journey left.

lol it's fine. I would bet most of the athletes who react probably feel the same about Bokuto. The people who love him are the fans who never really played pro, or who didn't really play sports. He is a great comic relief character, prolly one of my favorite characters, because its great seeing him turn up after his slumps haha. But your guys critiques towards him are 100 percent justified lol

Aroha

I never understood why people liked Bokuto a lot either, but it could just be because I'm a volleyball player as well and would find him an annoying player. Although I think I''m understanding him more as the years go by. As Bokuto's teammates said this episode Bokuto won't crumble under nerves or pressure like normal people he has really weird circumstances that demotivate him. He's just extremely lucky he has Aakashi and his team which are conveniently great for a guy like him. And it probably helps his team to know their ace wouldn't keel over from pressure. Makes him seem more dependable even though he's almost the opposite.

Girish

The one thing I really really like about bokuto is how he handles pressure. One of his teammates says in this episode that Bokuto doesn't understand not being able to do your best due to nerves or pressure. I think that quality needs high praise! That's not easy for most people, right? When the going gets tough, he does step up!

Vivek Parimi

My take on Hinata’s interaction was that he didn’t sulk. He’s always been one to express immense appreciation even if he is envious of someone’s physical abilities or technique. And I thought he was bowing up Hoshiumi after watching him play and hearing his comments about what being short really meant to him. I feel like he now sees a goal. And that goal isnt necessarily to beat a new rival but to become a well rounded player

LP

I understand Adam's comment about Tanaka should be more intuitive toward girls since he has an older sister, but you've seen Saeko, so, yeah.

Updates: I think we're going to have a separate movie for Bokuto though!
