Tanjiro is the absolute GOAT. There's not a lot he can do to help the skills of the other Demon Slayers, but the way he manages to adjust the group morale is honestly inspiring. That paper airplane contest... genius!!

In my opinion, Tokito was providing sufficient feedback for the other slayers. However, those remarks were too much to take into account and execute accordingly. After all, they were not at a pro level, something which Tanjiro is getting close to. That’s why it was easier for him to adjust on the fly. Of all the Hashiras, I think I enjoyed Tokito and Uzui’s training sessions most. You can practically see how much they care, underneath that tough exterior.

This arc is pretty short in the manga (12 chapters). Most of this episode is not even in the manga so there’s a lot of additions. Episode 1, 2, 3 and 4 has a lot of anime original content but from episode 5 it’s mostly the same as the manga!

To answer Adams question. The anime and the manga go hand in hand. It's not 100% frame by frame, but it is the closest you can get in terms of plot, character design and scenes portrayed. This season however, has been enlarged in the anime because in the manga they go about it rather briefly.

Ironically I want this arc to be a movie and for the rest of the show to be properly episodic 😅

I love episodic format, so I wish all anime just did episodes and skipped the movies!!
