Sasha is mainly a comedic relief character, don't take her too seriously. 🤣 The comedy in this show i s abit unusual and it doesn't help that it has a dark setting.

the whole sasha thing was just a visual gag don't read too much into it haha, she just really likes food. i think the whole jean wiping his hand on connie thing was just him being dramatic cause he just saw the girl he's interested in being super close with the guy he had just been fighting with. him and eren had just hi-fived to make amends so he was wiping his hand clean as if to say all the goodwill they had just established is gone

As others have pointed out, the Sasha bread scene was just a gag, showing how feral she was in her hunger.

At the end, eren using the 3D Maneuver gear is just meant to symbolise he moved on to the next part of training. They're all still trainess who havent gone into whatever branch of the military they want to choose yet. That's why Commander Shadis said "commence training" at the end

I just wanted to say I've watched different reaction channels and I came across yours when I just finished watching Haikyuu and was looking at other people reaction to it. That was last year or so. I really enjoyed seeing the both of your reaction to Haikyuu alot. At the time I wasn't subscribed as a patreon but after seeing Attack on titan reactions I subscribed right away. Attack on Titan is my first and THE anime that sold me on watching other animes. The story, the characters, the plot twists, the soundtrack is just phenomenal. I can't wait to see you guys reaction to this show as you go further. One episode a week isn't good enough lol. Like everyone else it's my favorite anime along with Haikyuu. For me Attack on titan and Haikyuu are top tier shows.

No, this is entirely fair. Coming up with theories that end up being wrong is one thing we SHOULDNT correct them on, but i dont want them accidentally making theories about anime gags lol they gotta know its nothing genuine

The equipment that a soldier carries to battle consists of 4 parts: - a blade handle in each hand - detachable blades (contained in the elongated boxes on their sides) - a gas-powered propellant system attached to their lower back that can push them forward at significant speeds - a grappling hook system at their hips that can shoot out arrow-head tethers and reel them back in to help create a pulling force both for navigating forward and to maneuver in different directions (sometimes they hook to something on the side to create a centripetal force that helps them swing around a corner).

i would recommend finishing haikyu and not picking up any new shows and watching AOT 2 episodes or 3 instead. Since with 1 ep per week pace at the end of the year we will be only at the start of season 3 ;_: really cruel wait ngl

The anime-comedy timing and depiction with the exaggerated eyes, or the dramatic shadowing of Jean (the guy wiping his trust) is something you just have to accept as a stylistic choice that often happens in anime. You can maybe compare it to those Haikyu scenes where Tanaka and Noya act like complete crackheads and Ennoshita looks like he will murder someone. Similar to this!

And I also hope you will enjoy the (as we have already seen in the first episodes) very heavy and traumatic storyline, that is interlaced with comedic elements. For me it was quite an unique viewing experience

This! Also it's like he just complimented Mikasa's hair and one "thanks" from her left him staring frozen in place like he'd lost his soul. In contrast, he overhears Eren just straight up telling her to cut her hair because it'll get in the way and her immediately saying she will, pretty much showing that his nervous compliment meant nothing to her. It was such a clear indication of how much she actually valued his vs Eren's words and he couldn't take it lol.

I have never except for Netflix, bought any kind of membership cause I was a student, glad I can work now and actually afford it (def worth).
