This season had a SOLID OP/EP lineup 🔥 Do they overtake Lisa in my eyes? The styles are too different, but they get close 👀

Which Demon Slayer season had your favorite opening and endings?

I completely agree—this season’s OP/EP was incredible! 🔥 One detail you noticed during the EP is when Muzan tramples over six drops of blood, leaving only one somewhat intact. This symbolizes Tanjiro’s siblings and his mother, suggesting that only Nezuko survived the demon attack, even though she was transformed. This show is an absolute masterpiece when it comes to intricate details like this! Can’t wait for the movies to come out ⏳

Please don't be that person with the phone in the theater! The user may not realize it but even at its dimmest setting, the glare from the screen is exceptionally distracting to others. 🙏

Jay

Well if like Adam said there's not much people in the theater and nobody is sitting behind you guys then the phone could be cool.

Personally, my top OP/EP is this season's. Not only because they truly capture the essence and spirit of Demon Slayer (the concept of Eternity), but also because of my favourite singer Hyde. I particularly adore how he sounded in the EP (Tokoshie)--his vocals were incredible on the song: dark, slightly oppressive, a tad creepy, and totally mind blowing!

I really like season 3’s opening!

The red berry does mean something. There are six red berries, and after Muzan stepped out, only one is all in one piece. That intact one means Nezuko, and the other five means Tanjiro's family who killed by Muzan. And the candle extinguished after Muzan walk by means human killed by Muzan. In eastern culture, we use candle's flame to symbolize human's life. The ED/OP of this season has a lot of meaning in the scene, I like the Muzan/Master scene in the OP the most.

Maybe a bit late, but speaking of good songs and the lyrics resonating with the story, if you guys don't mind, I'd like to suggest you watch LiSA's performance of Homura, which is the song for the Mugen Train movie, on The First Take youtube channel. There are a lot of great anime opening/ending performances, but that's my absolute favorite. They have english subtitles too, so you won't miss a thing. At the end of the video, LiSA talks about the meaning of the song for her, and it just always touches my heart so deeply. I hope you guys like it! <3

Ohhhhh it was blood?! I thought it was a berry 😂 That symbolism is too good though, now that I read your explanation

Sarah

It was sooooooo early!! 😴 I am not a morning person. Also, what is this Lisa stuff you are referring to??

Sarah

That EP was a vibe 100%. Absolutely perfect for what they were trying to express!

Sarah

Someone said the berries were drops of blood. Is that your take as well? I didn't know the candle part though. That is so cool. I love all of the symbolism!!

Sarah

Ohhhhhhhkay. Someone mentioned The First Take in another comment and I was so confused! This makes a lot more sense. We'll have to check it out!

Shalini Paul

Honestly, when I first saw you all referring to the blood drops as berries, I thought it was a bit strange. However, now that I look at it, they do resemble a cluster of berries 😑. I understand why you might question the deeper meaning that the berries could possibly hold! 😂

There’s a yt channel called “the first take” where they invite artists to sing their songs in one take and you can find Lisa’s live of gurenge and homura there (she’s jaw-dropping like always)
