This has been quite the journey 🤯 So many twists and turns and surprises... this anime definitely had us thinking, and the last few episodes were sooooo good!

Hooray!!!!!! Let's go to the next one!!!! Im always been a big fan of bad guys growing up like Darth Vader, Marvel and dc villains and Light Yagami as well so always "lightly" root for them, but beyond the first test of the death note there is no excuse for Light's actions. I hope i would be brave enough like the detectives to continue risking their lives to stop him. Anyway love all that yall do and been a fan since you started haikyuu Sarah and little before that when I first saw you in the Olympics.

I think the real winners are us, light haters bc we got such a pathetic end for him The only thing I like about light’s character is miyano mamoru’s performance dude’s a legend

Sarah/Adam, the manga actually ends differently! So in the manga, the ending is the same up until Matsuda shoots Light multiple times, but then Light crawls over to Ryuk to ask him to kill the others. Ryuk starts writing and Light thinks he’s won, until Ryuk turns his notebook around to show Light that HIS name is being written, while giving the same monologue that we hear Ryuk give in the anime. Light then panics and spends his last seconds screaming “No! No! No! I don’t want to die! I don’t want to die! Please no!” I personally think that ending is a tad more satisfying cuz Light got to be highly aware of his final moments and suffer more for it, just like many of his victims

Light's death is even more pathetic in the manga. He cries and begs Ryuk not to kill him.
