I really like this episode because knowledge about knowledge is a whole field of study that doesn't come up too often in public discourse. Adam's hunch was warranted; a lot of stories like to create that prejudice vs. innocence tension and as someone in Frieren's position, you have to recognize that experience guides your actions but does not speak to the truth. You do not know for sure whether every demon or even just the one in front of you is truly evil, yet simultaneously you need to act. You need to act, yet that urgency does nothing to tell you what is right. So the question is how. It doesn't mean shoot first apologize later like with Frieren. It doesn't mean doing what Himmel did and always give everything a chance. The right answer each time lies somewhere in between and it does mean you have to struggle to come to your choice. An easy decision is a bad one. Frieren's decision here is correct but the process of her coming to it, as was shown to us, is problematic. Humility and careful consideration go a long way even if you ultimately choose to do the same thing.

Himmel is the front man, because he’s the “hero” of the party. Heroes are usually the strongest warriors so he’s definitely not mediocre! Just thought I’d point that out 😅

It's kind of funny when this episode came out theres a lof of meme of frieren being racist, some are jokes some thought its true because they want to believe demons are not all evil.

As far as a party composition goes, Eisen was more or less their frontline tank, with Himmel and Frieren being their melee DPS and ranged / magic DPS, respectively, and Heiter on support and healing. Eisen and Himmel could probably trade off frontlining / tanking and melee DPS duties if needed, and Frieren could provide support instead of damage as well if the situation called for it since she's clearly also got a ton of random utility spells. Heiter probably could also take over the ranged / magic DPS role against enemies weak to holy magic / priest spells that Frieren wouldn't have access to - I'm thinking undead and the like, because that's typically an enemy type that clerics / priests tend to be strong against.
