I know you guys weren't super happy about us watching the OVAs, but the No Regrets ones were soooo good. Are you kidding me? Ilse's Notebook was also good. I think we went 3/5 on them, but I know we are all ready to take on Season 2 now! Yayyyyy!!!

Some people might not be happy about the other OVA's (more like they're not as entertaining) but the No regrets ones I believe are fan favorites in general. I can't imagine someone complaining about you No regrets. They're really important for Levi character and elevates him so much imo.

Great ova. Can't wait to see season 2 reaction. If you guys remember but back when Levi told Eren to make his decision about wanting to change into a titan to stop the female titan, Adam picked up on Levi telling Eren to make the choice that he will least regret. It all comes back to this moment. This was one of the choices Levi always regret and going forward this was the basis of Levi decision making when he is out on missions. If I'm saying it right lol. Can't wait for next week.

Definitely favorite OVA for me. It gives an important foundation to Levi and Erwin's relationship which give more context for the events which later happen in the show. Personally, I also love Levi's theme song 'So Ist Es Immer', the English lyrics always make me misty eyed...

Love how Sarah said “No Regrets, Part 3” at the end haha. I’d say No Regrets is my favorite set of OVAs in this show, and they’re worth revisiting even after watching the later seasons (I’ve watched them countless times lol). Personally, I think the words Erwin said to Levi at the end played an important role in why Levi decided to stay in the Survey Corps. What Erwin said was essentially: don’t regret your decisions, because no one could have foreseen the outcome; don’t let what happened weigh you down so much that you lose the ability to move forward. It’s not about making the “better” or “worse” decisions, but about following through on your mission or commitments once a decision has been made. There are layers to this: 1. It helped lift the sense of guilt Levi felt — the belief that he was responsible for Farlan’s and Isabel’s deaths because he chose to have faith in them rather than trusting his own instincts or strength. 2. Through this interaction, Levi was impressed by and drawn to Erwin’s will, determination, and strength — and his vision — which ultimately became the reason Levi decided to follow him. Erwin's words had so much impact on Levi as we can see that later on, that's also what Levi tries to tell Eren. Anyway, I’m so glad you guys watched these — now we’re finally ready for Season 2!!!

I love that Levi then tells Eren the same thing back when they were running from the female titan, about how he can put trust in himself or his comrades, but that he will never know the outcome and not to regret his decision
