Hey guys,

Next video coming up is the one I shot on stream, with some Reddit story discussions and the outro song I posted here :)


I’m also scripting a video about the relationship behavior we discussed in chat the other day.


I’m interested in 1) do you have interesting stories from your lives you think would make good videos 2) are there themes you think I should talk about (ie things about relationships, the internet, life…) 3. What other broader things do you think would make for good ugly-animated videos with a song in the end?

I would very much enjoy hearing dating/relationship takes from genuinely romantic guys, cus man, the dating pool is polluted and the fish are dying... I refuse to give up on cute shit and happy ever afters😩 And if that discussion happens to be ugly animated, then even better😊

I have an idea, and maybe you could write a song about it?? It would be about quiet people and when they find their voice. Context: I’m a very quiet person. I’m used to talking to people, because I work in customer service, but I won’t go out of my way to talk to someone, if I absolutely don’t need to. It wears me down. I’m shy, I keep to myself, what can I say? But recently, I got into an argument with a lady at a concert. FIRST TIME EVER getting into an argument with a stranger. HUGE step up from talking to them, yeah? She wasn’t treating me very kindly, and for a while I was letting it slide while giving her hints to stop. Well she didn’t catch any of my hints, so I actually now confront her, telling her to stop, and she gets furious! Like legit, pushes and yells at me. And being the quiet person that I am, I look directly in her eyes, and forcefully and sternly become the dominant person in this “brawl”😂, by yelling (overpowering her yelling) at her to nock it off. Of course there were other people there to help defend me, I don’t want to forget them too. But the point that I’m making is that, even tho I’m a quiet person, I found that I have a tiger inside me, and I shouldn’t be afraid to unleash it. I may seem like a good target for bullies to pick on, but I have found my voice, and it might shock you with how loud it can be.

Video idea about how it's hard to read intent through text? When speaking in person inflection in your voice conveys so much and you don't get that in text. Most of us communicate a lot more through text now and things get confusing. Sarcasm especially

Waiting-waiting. Love ugly animation! I have topics/prompts that aren't probably suitable, but maybe they'll lead you to something useful. How strong is the impact of communicating with people on understanding ourselves? And is it possible to lose your real self by limiting that communication? Role of a mistake in a creative process. And how high is the possibility to make it, when you create things in digital space? Wtf dreams. Used to have those regularly, here's one of the most normal of them: Ricky Martin was making a somersault on stage but fell and lost two front teeth. He picked them up, put back in his mouth and continued the performance trying to hold the teeth at their place with his tongue. This has to do with a relationship in my case but it could be applied to many other things as well. I feel most of us will live through situations that in the moment, we think we’ll never move on from it. The rug has been pulled out from underneath us. But one day you realize you have moved on. Not only that; life looks a whole lot better now than when you had that other person or thing in your life that at the time, you thought you’d never be able to live without. You like who you are as a person now better than you did back then. Might be an interesting topic, it is for me to look back on the transformation within myself.

Are you looking for a particular kind of (personal) story? I'm not sure if it's too heavy of a subject, but I think grief would be an interesting theme to explore. Not exclusive to loss by way of death, but grieving/mourning the loss of anything really (friendships/relationships, opportunities, time). And I think it can be difficult to inject humor into these ideas, but you're pretty tactful at handling these things, so I think you'd be able to do it gracefully. Excited for these new concept videos!

Craziest first date stories! I once went on a date with a guy who took me to his work Christmas party and told everyone I was his girlfriend (again, on our FIRST date). He then took me to a church house where he showed off his piano skills but wouldn't let me play at all (I am also a pianist). Proceeded to do donuts in the middle of the parking lot. Then when I asked to go home, he ended up having us stop to help a semi-truck driver that had broken down, even though neither of us knew mechanics and neither of us actually understood the driver's language lol. He had me sit outside in the middle of winter while he just tried to understand the guy lol. Thankfully, I was taken home around 2 am. 😅 Another one was when my parents told me I had to go on a date with my stalker in high school (yes, my parents are kinda messed up and I don't think they really understood the situation). Anyway...he asked me to Senior Prom and for our date, we got up before sunrise to set up our own hot air balloon. However, it only allowed 4 people at a time. So my stalker date stayed on the ground, while myself, his dad (running the balloon), and the other couple we did the date with (who were also bf/gf), went up in the balloon. We were up there for a good hour. It was beyond awkward as the couple just decided to make out the whole time, leaving me and stalker dad. We had to carry the hot balloon ourselves when we came down and boy, was it heavy! Had lunch altogether at someone's house, then had a small break to change into our formals for the dance. I do feel bad because while at the dance, I did end up sneaking off with a friend for maybe 30 minutes to hide from our dates (I was just beyond uncomfortable with him). After the dance, we changed and did a campfire in stalker's backyard. Just a really long date that I never wanted to go on, lol. I also went on a blind date once where the friend never told me my date's name...the guy never told me and I had to figure it out on our 3rd or 4th date lol. 😂 We ended up actually dating for a while too.

I have LOTS of things going on in my life sooo umm idk lol haha, I guess it would be up to you if you really want me to say some things about my life lol 2. I'm very weird / nerdy on some subjects I'm interested in/on. For now i think maybe something about the relationships on the internet in terms of like online dating or how pplz like over use their medias or how they promote things that they're doing. 3. Hmmm haven't thought of that before with thinking of things for an ugly-animated videos, hmm let me get back to you on that, can't really think on anything rn lol 😆

Your question about the phone calls made me think of how people are sending memes and reels to others more so than actually asking how your friend is doing and what's going on in their lives by calling or messaging... Many times after couple of same "I hate work" themed reels I end up asking how things are at work from my friend etc...'cos I take those as a hint and then the person might tell how things suck at work... People also aren't using their own thoughts, but rather spread other people's thought's and jokes instead of telling stories about their own lives (and I'm not saying that the memes and reels ain't funny, 'cos they are, I mean IG seems to suggest fart jokes to me at the moment and I was lmao to those yesterday even though I was feeling a bit down 🤪)... But sometimes I wish I would hear "original" own friend's thoughts and jokes to kind of learn more about the person...I don't know if that makes any sense... One other thing that I have been thinking is that why people sometimes think that the negative criticism is more honest opinion than a positive and nice comment... As if compliments and positive feedback is sus and ain't so cool somehow. And why kind flattering comments are more "innocent" or ok from some people and not ok and downright simping coming from another... Why being kind isn't cool 😆 Red flags in relationships, that people have learned to watch out for... What would be a dream date. Annoying sounds that drives people insane... # head explodes every time coworker starts eating raw carrots in an open office or chewing gum with mouth open etc ... Real life bloopers could be fun idea for ugly animation too. I have an embarrassing yet funny story, that the people around me never let me forget... But those kind of innocent mistakes that turn out to be funny stories... Those were some of the random stuff that came to my mind 🤪 I think it's nice that u sometimes bring up the loneliness epidemic topic, 'cos it's important to acknowledge... It's a bit strange in a way how people are so lonely in a world that is so "connected" nowadays... But I wonder if things are more superficial and that people want things to be easy and available whenever it suits for them... Less tolerance for inconvenience and less will to put work on things or something... People checking social media and if there's nothing new they assume nothing is going on in person's life = not worthy of asking how the person is doing. People rather check the social media when they have nothing else to do than ask what's up... Sorry for the long rambling 🫣 I'm so excited about the "It was worth it" update! 😊

Same here... I hardly ever update anything, mostly change the Facebook profile pic or the background picture (don't know what that is called in English 😅) and even those quite rarely... I have had IG for some time since my friend kinda forced me to put that up with an idea that I would put some of my creative stuff there... But I haven't posted one single picture there and for the longest time I only followed two of my friends 'cos they happened to know I had IG account, but I still feel uncomfortable following other people since I don't post anything and I feel like I'm just lurking 😅😆 I feel like no one gives a damn what goes on in my life or whatever I'm crafting, so I don't see the point... But maybe I should put some creative stuff out there just as a reminder for myself of what stuff I have done... I tried the digital detox too and wasn't able to complete cut it off. It's the dang FOMO 😅

Dunno if this is useful for a ‘theme’, but a specific thing I’ve been thinking about a lot recently is how lockdown impacted people & their social skills. I personally feel like I’m finally recovering from it lol- I was fairly young when it happened and coming back to school after so long, I was so unbelievably timid and socially anxious to the point where I’d basically be quivering in fear non-stop of the teacher picking me to speak 😅 But I feel like 2024 is where I’ve managed to kind of ‘find myself’ again? I’ve been confident enough to take up so many more opportunities and I actually have a pretty wide group of friends now. But some people, both kids and adults, wouldn’t have gotten that lucky, and are probably still feeling the effects of it all now. I guess that could be something you could explore- it’s pretty fascinating to me to see how people have ‘changed’ after it all, and it might make an interesting video? Also- YESS I’m absolutely addicted to It Was Worth It!! So excited :)

Super excited to see upcoming videos! I'm loving all your upcoming ideas/plans - creating stories within songs based on true life events! Also love seeing ugly-animation too! Not sure what kind of life stories or themes to share because I don't know what's good for content to begin with. Hm.. I'll try to share at least 2. These stories aren't solely mine but through friends' or colleagues' experiences or their encounters with other people. I'm sorry that I tend to be long-winded. Hence, I'm limiting to 2 stories that I thought are interesting, to me that is. Shy People: A lady has weekly evening classes. Always using the same route to go home afterwards. This pedestrian route is quite busy so there isn't any scary atmosphere for ladies or anyone to walk at night. The class finishes around 9pm to 10pm. A guy stands along the pavement and he seems to be waiting for someone. When the lady walks past him, he'll pretend to look busy like speaking on the phone. After a while, she starts noticing him because she felt someone is watching her. The lady observed over a couple of weeks and thought the guy doesn't seem like a creep and more likely a shy person. She's also a shy person and so, she doesn't dare to make the first approach. This (cycle? pattern?) went on quietly between the two - lady walks home knowingly the guy waited for her, guy waits for her knowingly the lady will walk past him. A couple of months later, her evening classes approaches the end of her education programme. She no longer comes to that place. Both lady and guy didn't make any attempt to try talking to each other in the end and it's likely they have "what if" thoughts. Maybe make a song on both lady's and guy's shy perspectives on approaching another person? And maybe add on some wishful thoughts from them? Or advice for shy people?

Book Lover-Hoarder (Bibliophile): An elderly gentleman (I'll named him Mr. E) tripped and fell down a short flight of stairs while on his way to get lunch at a nearby coffee shop. Passerbys came to his aid, called the ambulance because it was a bad, bloody fall. During hospitalisation, Mr. E went through rehabilitation therapy. He was getting well. As he is living alone, hospital team (doctors, nurses, therapists, social workers) wanted to check on his home environment. Mr. E grants permission to the team to assess his home. And so, a social worker, a therapist and Mr. E went over to his home. This was some weeks before official home discharge since the team needs to plan and make arrangements for Mr. E's post-discharge care and services. Turns out that Mr. E is a bookworm. He has a massive book collection. Every inch of space was occupied with books. Even his bed was made up of stacked books saved for a thin mattress, bedsheet, blanket and a pillow placed atop. There wasn't any space for proper furniture. His clothes were minimal and neatly folded in enclosed plastic boxes. His kitchen and bathroom/toilet were the only spaces that there wasn't any books. There's a small fridge, stove, washing machine, a chair and a table in the kitchen for him to eat or read or watch TV. Mr. E's appliances or belongings was mostly minimal. Sometimes he cooks, other times he'll buy food. The TV was located nearby, a short distance from the kitchen entrance. Overall, Mr. E's home was clean and there were clear pathways for him to walk in-between his bedroom, kitchen, bathroom/toilet, living room and home door. This gentleman has always been independent, self-sufficient and have savings to live a simple life. But the team notices signs of loneliness and given his age and present mobility (he can walk but needs a quad base walking stick), he needs extra care to move around in his home or elsewhere and social support services. The team had a hard time to convince Mr. E that he needs proper bed, a small sofa for him to sit comfortably while watching TV, a small wardrobe/cabinet for his clothes and a mirror in his bedroom (so he doesn't have to go to the bathroom to use a mirror). He must remove a lot of books to make way for all these changes. The team took a while to reach upon an agreement with Mr. E that his books will be donated to libraries and hospital (for staff and inpatients), also to allow him time to choose what books to give away while the team helped to get furniture items and rearrange the remaining books. While choosing books for donation, Mr. E would look or rather.. admire at each book, occasionally flipped pages on some books, heaved a little sigh and then proceeded to put into boxes. He neatly arranged all those books into categories. All plans and arrangements went on smoothly. Mr. E was discharged home from the hospital safely. I wish I know how to summarise without losing details. Sorry to bore you or anyone reading my posts. Not sure what type of topic is suitable for this life story. Maybe about hoarding tendencies, living a simple life, things book lovers can relate to, book lovers' quirkiest habits, etc? My brain's feeling tired now. It's time for me to sleep. Lol. Historical Events with a Twist: Topic: A historical event like the French Revolution, but with a comical twist, like if Marie Antoinette was a gamer who accidentally triggered the guillotine. Song: A catchy, upbeat song about "losing your head" over a video game. Something everyone can relate to 2. Everyday Annoyances: Topic: A mundane activity like doing laundry, but with exaggerated, absurd characters and situations. Song: A humorous song about the struggles of laundry day. Elon’s new robots basically copying I, robot and his rocket ship stuff.. this is relevant.. and scary… and in the Q conspiracies.. you have a ton to go with 3. Sci-Fi Concepts Gone Wrong: Topic: A futuristic concept like time travel or space exploration, but with hilarious consequences and unexpected outcomes. Song: A catchy, upbeat song about the "adventures" of space travel or time-hopping.

Oh nice, are you thinking of making more than one video about relationships? If so, maybe you could make different videos about different relationship dynamics such as siblings, friends, work colleagues, etc. And yay, It Was Worth It is one of my favorite songs you have written!! Hopefully we can get a sneak peek with the added vocals?? 🙂🙏🏻

I agree, when speaking in person, it’s not only the sound of someone’s voice but also their facial expressions and body language that gives the intent of what they’re talking about. I find it very hard to figure out what people mean through text a lot of the time.

Here is some more drama. My late husband had a half sister who was eight years older who was a lesbian. She dated a substantially older bisexual woman for a number of years named Karen. When their mother was dying over three years of lung cancer which metastasise horribly, Karen was there with the family the entire time. Then after the mom died, the sister and Karen split up and Karen got together with my father-in-law, They are still together and very happy. Oh, and the sister? She killed herself two months after my husband died and left a horrible suicide note. She insinuated that my husband killed himself, which he did not. It was a heart attack, but she claimed that she killed herself in reaction to his ‘suicide’ - which she did with a fentanyl overdose in the abortion clinic she worked at, btw. Personally I think that she was always mentally unstable & depressed, but possibly the guilt of never talking to him once we moved across the country and not even attending our wedding was too much. When he was dying in the hospital, she was constantly calling me and extremely freaked out/clearly feeling guilty of negligence- even though she had never called me before.

I really love this idea! The "ugly," as you say, animations can make some stories just so hilarious! Especially if you record them as you read them for the first time cause then we get your genuine reactions which make things even funnier. Well ok... That's IF you're going for funny. I suppose if you're reading drama or sad stuff then that's... oh... But to be honest... I need humor in my life. Too much drama of my own that it would be nice to just listen to you reading funny things. It helps bring me out of my darkness. I'll have to think up some funny ones for you because... from some of the ones I'm reading above... that's just friggin depressing. honestly, the stress of my work right now is so insane, its comedic though its one of the main things making me absolutely depressed (and now I see a therapist XD). But if anyone else was to watch this work life in like a movie, they may as well call it Office Space and label it a comedy. =_=
