Just absolutely beautiful. This is so just on point....lit, as you say. Bitter sweet. So sad, and everytime I hear it there's a bit of hope. I can hear, see it creeping in and just so powerful. The strings are added just as imagined. The emphasis, the slight increase/decrease(I know the term can't spell, forgive me please). I almost wanted to cry. Never felt that for a song in a long time. This is lovely, Joel ❤️. I played it on repeat on the way to work this AM, bc I just wanted to soak it in. (Side note: Glad I got something I enjoyed in before...the day. Ugh) It gave me goosebumps in so many parts of the song. I played it for my elder child tonight and they immediately said, "SO GOOD!" When it ended. High compliments from a 14 y.o.
