I haven’t watched yet… but just saw HTHaze’s review to the wldlfe album ‘repaint my mind’ & he is awesome!

Can't wait to watch this after some of my daily roomie💖

RIP camera. You and Troy complement each other well. I enjoyed some of the editing with you flying around onto different surfaces. Also appreciate some of your music nerd takes. Solid vid.

Nona

loved Troy’s energy a lot of fun

LOL 😁, it’s been a while since Joel’s camera has died. Nice throwback to his 2020 Daily videos era.

yeah I feel we bounce off each other really well, if we do more I can see myself getting sillier lmao

Omg I’m so happy you’re finally reviewing APT and Die With A Smile!!! Bruno has been on a ROLL lately APT is definitely perfect for chanting in a group. I completely unintentionally started an APT cult at my school the other day because me and my friends were singing it and accidentally collected some followers 😂😂 Apateu apateu!!

The mouth clip was doing my head in 🤪. Other than that, this was fun and energetic

Such a fun video! 😊 I agree that the Lady Gaga/ Bruno Mars song has the same theme as 'if the world was ending', but that one I only put on when I need a good and hearty cry, while the Bruno Mars one I'd put on when I want to dance and sway like your buddy did 😂✌️

Fun to listen to, halfway the video went on vacation. Enjoyed the play off each other. Troy is the right fit, nice job, Roomie. The other colab was the one word guess. Liked it so much forgot his name🤭. Thank you for the video ✌️❤️😂

Clair (Teampanda)

What a shame your camera died 😂 Everything except for Jimin is in my Spotify playlist so I enjoyed listening to your critique! More with Troy please, he's great! And I also shed a tear to Billie Ellish - Birds of feather, but it's the version in the Animated Film The Wild Robot!

Naomiskyyy

This was super fun to watch! It was enjoyable hearing you and Troy's honest opinions on the songs too!

Ooh.. Your camera.. RIP. Maybe it's timely to get the latest camera. Love seeing Troy! It's interesting to watch you in a different angle/perspective (no pun intended. lol) with Troy and observe what kind of nuances each of you picked up and listened to how you both dissect the songs with individual hot takes which as a casual listener, I wouldn't have paid attention until you guys pointed out some details. I got lost a lil bit on some geeky terms but those doesn't bother me really. I do enjoy this vid! Thanks for this early access, Joel~~💜

“ show me your big a ** and your harmonica” lmaoo 😂😂😂 great video. The rating of the songs were accurate in my opinion. The Bruno mars/lady Gaga song deserves that top spot. Bring back real authentic music in 2025!

Enjoyed the video and the double commentary, it has a "listening music with friends" energy; the first song sounds really good, I love that "rich" sound Also the sponsor add/commentary is intriguing fsr, it's funny 😄 kind of want the pillows ☁️

Loved the video!!💗👍 So fun hearing the commentary on the songs between you and Troy. Thanks for making my Thanksgiving so much better!😊

Thanks for the early access. Always enjoying these podcasty things where you share your thoughts about songs. I hate one of those songs with a passion and two others are boring. My thoughts about those songs are a bit edgy, so I guess it's better to keep my thoughts to myself, don't want to upset anyone who might love those songs/artists. Wouldn't mind watching more of these types of videos though. You guys hear/pay attention to different things on the songs than average musically dumb dumb, which makes it really interesting.

What I particularly like about this series is that it’s the perfect balance between opinion and musically technical knowledge. Like, you’re able to fully explain why you don’t think something works on a level that is understandable to everyone whether they’re musically inclined or otherwise. It’s an added bonus that you have someone to bounce off of too 🙂

I always enjoy seeing “silly Roomie”…watching you have fun during your videos is always extra special. 😁

Yeah, I did not like that clip at all. Too much of a closeup, and it went on for way too long. A bad choice of aesthetic design for whoever thought out that particular video. The song wasn’t bad, just the video clip wasn’t that great. Kinda reminds me of that Gwen Stephani video where the song is playing in the background, and she’s being filmed up close.

Melissa Rogers

Joel, thank you so much for the early access and for introducing us to another one of your friends. I enjoyed seeing you two bounce off of each other with your opinions about each song and video clip. I didn’t mean to sound like a “Debbie Downer” in my reply to another patron about the “mouth” clip. I was agreeing with her in that it was a bit much. Hoping that the rest of the video, for that song, isn’t just a closeup of her mouth…similar to the Gwen Stephani clip you had in a previous video. I hope you have Troy in more videos in the future. When your main camera died, I got a nostalgic vibe from when they’d quit several times in your 2020 videos. 😁❤️ And the editors would animate a picture of you until the camera came back. Fun times and great videos!! 🥰

I actually really liked the colab with HTHaze. You have just enough by way of similar tastes... but also have differing opinions, but vibe so well and are so respectful of each other. I really enjoyed this one. I loved the break down of the music too. Thanks guys!

I. Adore. Troy!! More collabs, pls!!
