The lyrics are still a bit cheesy/verse is just mumbles so gonna look it over but right now:

we're doing a video each that go up the same day. Yeah I'm gonna keep looking at the verse, I do like that it's more low key tho, I think that's why so many are reacting strongly to the contrast into the chorus :)

Guitars.. or a synth.. or drum something… more.. deeper pulse.. I think… if that’s the route that fits the rest of the lyrics.. it’ll give it a more late 80s vibe though, so gotta be careful with teetering that line to not feel dated

Someone is probably going to spank me for spamming with this second comment 😝 But I have now been listening to this demo "couple" of times 🫣 on my headphones at work and had to come back to say that I'm obsessed about the ends of those OHs! The creek, fry or whatever that is called is so cool in your voice! (Please someone tell me the correct term for it, I suck at the musical terms and it annoys the heck out of me when I can't describe what I mean correctly 😅) Also that "belting" really hits a sweet spot! I like that build up and contrast a lot.
