Hey Patrons (Set Building Edition)

Airyckah Lane

Thanks for the update.. and todays live.. Q: do you think it’s going to start getting to you having a set always up in your main living space now? Almost like there’s no real area in your home to escape work. Or do you have a safety plan in place to keep yourself from feeling like you’re always stuck at work/in the office?

loonylovesgood

Q: I see you went golfing recently. Did any of your golf balls end up in the water? (Or sandpit?)

CK DeP

Hii Joel, how are you doing? How's the L.A life lol @Roomie

Cas

The Genelec interview was fun! Q: You said something in the interview about renting a warehouse. What will that be for?

Jess Haggstron

Thnks for sharing all this w us🤍 Q: Do you have plans to make new merch? Have a great weekend.

MediocreAtBest

A set with two dueling keyboards!? Sounds like another dad joke contest with Jonas is in order! Q: do you have any US national parks on your travel bucket list? Lots of the big ones out west c:

Clair (Teampanda)

God I hate this app sometimes, I apologise if my other message appears at some point 😔. Thanks for the update and the smile, even though you feel headachy, your smile always makes me feel better! Q: You mentioned about physical visualization and how much it helps you focus on a task once you see it come to life. Have you considered putting all your notes/thoughts into a mind map (or similar) program where you can print out a big picture for your wall? Seeing it blown up and put into order can help you wittle out the tasks that aren't priorities and bump your memory on others.

Q: If you could travel back in time just once, would you: A) change something which then alters your future/current timeline, or would you B) not change a thing and travel back to relive a happy core memory?

Stephanie Bruso

Q: would you ever consider going to Vidcon as a feature creator (again)?

Dannielle O'Neill

Keep some space to yourself. Don't build let work take over your whole house.

Dannielle O'Neill

I stole the "I appreciate you" when you said it in a video ages ago. I say it to ppl all the time and they ALWAYS look at me like I have 3 heads and then smile really big. <3 I appreciate you, btw :)

Magalie Leplus

Hi Joel, hope you're doing well. Q: I'd like to know if you have tips to stay motivated, in work, in everyday's life ... ? We appreciate you too, don't forget it.

Miriam

Thanks for the new update!! I definitely should look into note taking apps since it would probably make me much more organized. I’m old school with writing everything down since it seems to sink in better if that makes sense lol, but my notes are definitely disorganized! 😅 Q: Do you have any upcoming plans to stream on Twitch again?? And if so would you consider doing a songwriting one? 🙂

Helga 🦊

Your answer (about smiling) to my question actually made me smile back so thank you for that 😁. Q: How do you feel about surprises? Do you like to be surprised?

Jen 🦙

Really appreciate you and the fun updates Joel 😊 sounds like you’ve been super productive and hopefully your headache passes soon so you can unwind! Q: You said recently that you’ve been eating healthier so I was wondering if you’ve got any quick and easy healthy recipe ideas for anyone stuck in a beige food rut right now? 😅

Have you been to some of US national parks, Ashley? What would you recommend if any?

Mona

You looked great today, Joel! 🧡Thank you for all the little tips on productivity and organization, finding a good system and note taking is surely a must! And yey LOTR, such a favourite! Q: Is there anything you enjoy doing occasionally that you haven't talked about? Like a little hobby or a certain interest?

♠️ Aslyn Jobry ♠️

Q: Have you tried using acupressure points to relieve your headaches? Personally, I've made use of Li4 and B2 points. I'm trying not to depend on painkillers unless the pain is unbearable. Thank you for this short video update. I hope you'll get to finish the setup soon and relax over the weekend. Till then, please take care~~💜

YES!! I would LOVE to see another Joel vs Jonas “Dad Jokes Duel”!! Or Joel vs any of his friends Dad Jokes Duel!! Music edition and non-music edition. Those are fun videos to go back and watch!! Also the pee & poo jokes video with Jonas and August…can also be done with Daniel & Jack or Gabe (BlackGryph0n)!! Great “blast from the past” idea, Ashley!!

I hope everyone can see my entire first reply to you…when I posted it, it didn’t say “read more”; instead it looks (to me anyway) like it cut off some of my original comment. Then I clicked to edit it, and saw the whole thing, x-ed out of editing, but still only see the partial comment (on my end). #Frustrating

Dorie

Q: Do you mostly think in English or Swedish now, or does it depend upon what you’re thinking about?

Hayley

Not really a Q: as such but just want to make sure you're looking after your eyes with all this screen time? (I work in opthalmology and see people with tired and dry eyes all the time through screen work. We don't want to damage those beautiful Bahama blues 😊 )

Definitely not!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Though he has worn his glasses in some of his videos in 2021 & 2022…and he looks very handsome in his glasses, imho. 🥰🫠

Melissa Rogers

Joel, when you answered someone’s question about being recognized in public, you said that you have been recognized. You also said that there’s a statistic (or something to that effect) that “for every one person that recognizes you, there are x number of people that don’t say anything about recognizing you”…which you further said that kinda makes you feel paranoid. Now, this is only my opinion/thought/theory about the ones that don’t say anything: those people can be trying to respect your privacy, or they might be star struck and scared or very shy. Or a mix of all the above. You have even mentioned being shy about meeting (new) people irl…as recently as the “Spicy Wings, Songwriting Contest” video with Daniel and Jack, where you guys had to have strangers vote on their favorite…you appeared visibly intimidated by the idea when you read that. Again, that is just a theory, a possibility…meant to hopefully ease a bit of tension and paranoia about those who do recognize you but don’t come up to you. Thank you so much for sharing these updates with us!! We appreciate your so freaking much!! I hope your headache eases up soon!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Fearless

Q Would you ever consider a worldwide tour? If so what countries would you go too?

JustSomeJK

Thanks for the update 🙂 I'm so excited about the upcoming videos! That songwriting duel sounds like a lot of fun 😊 I hope u didn't get rid of the red T-shirts when clearing out unnecessary stuff 😳😅 Actually I'll make a question of it 🤪 Q: Do u still have red T-shirts after clearing out some stuff? Ur note system is impressive 😲 I have a pile of sticky notes with random thoughts... I should probably come to this century with making notes lol. That Genelec interview was a nice surprise 🙂 I was just about to start sleeping yesterday when I got the discord notification (thanks to Vikki for letting us know about it 🙂 ).. That Genelec guy looked as he was left wanting more though (he might not have been the only one either, says someone suffering from stream deprivation) 😂 Have a nice weekend 🙂💙

Brandt

Hey just watched your latest, the “One song…”-video, congrats on reaching 400 000 views! So well deserved all though I think it should have been up at around 1 million already! Q: are you listening to any Swedish music, and is there a song or an artist that you think should make the international charts that hasn’t?

I've been to some, mostly as a kid. Would go back to nearly all of them. Been to and would recc'd Acadia, Shenandoah, Glacier, Yellowstone, Yosemite. Top of my list for ones I haven't been before are Crater Lake, Redwoods, Sequoia.

Bookdragon 43

Thanks for the update!! Your set for your YT videos sounds awesome. Love the LOTR series!!💗👍 Q: Do you have a favorite Rollercoaster in the U.S.? Not a fan of Rollercoasters myself. Hope you have a great week😊👍

Franceska

Q: Joel, what’s your take on social media nowadays? I’ve noticed you stepped out Twitter (or X..). In Europe/EU countries we are not allowed to use Threads (yes, I know about VPN lol). Anyway, watching your YT videos seems still the best option (for me YT is rather just „media”, than „social” ), Patreon is also ok. P.S. your chat with Genelec was great! As well as chatting with Daniel and Jack - I hope for the next ones! 😊

For you and other Europeans he only posted a few times on threads the day it started. Then nothing in the past 2+ months. You guys aren't missing anything

I just miss the days when Joel posted on Twitter - he was hilarious there (you know, about Crazy Frog and other funny stuff 😂)

what if mother of your children try to kiss your best friend believing that he is you, what would you do? Would you still invite your best friend to visit you at home? I wonder how many doubts he has now😂
