I got into Rookie because I found clips of Stanton on youtube being a racist bitch. I won't say anything else because those clips spoil stuff you haven't seen but basically those clips made me interested in watching the rookie.

11:47 one thing (out of many) that i love about the rookie is that they have so many random side characters played by really talented actors. it really makes a lot of the interactions/scenes feel real and human ifykwim. the side characters don’t feel like they’re just there to progress the main characters’ stories, they feel like actual people with their own lives that exist outside of their connection to the main characters.
