After much fanfare... after some fanfare, I have completed the Thief 2 saga. I wish it hadn't taken so long but certain other things get in the way, like not wanting my only other video during a month of YouTube shorts about TNT to be an even lower-performing Thief video. This one felt special because the first two maps are trash and the last is unique among Thief levels in that it's a ball-buster. A steel ball-buster. A destroyer of Newtons Cradles. I'd never done it on expert but hey, whatever, I'd never done a bunch of this game on expert and it wasn't nearly as difficult as I expected. Soulforge was exactly as difficult as I expected.I've got a slew of videos lined up for the next two months including finishing that damn What's Civvie Playing on Blood: Fleshed Out, one or two new releases coming out in the next few weeks (I really hope Boltgun isn't boring), and soon, hopefully, I hope to answer the age-old question "What the fuck is a Blake Stone?"Sneaksy humans, taffing manfools, good day to you all, and remember:

Nice work on that final mission - bruh! I remember playing Thief 2 up to Casing the Joint and then quitting… for reasons. Glad to get to see the final bits of the game. Fuck Karras! Also: Blake Stone! - childhood memories of the shareware ep 1 unlocked! A Commander Keen total conversion of Wolfenstein, starring vending machines, friendly NPCs, Bobby Prince’s tunes and a gold-hungry main antagonist whose original name will be sure to elicit a theory from Cancer Mouse… The game had as unlucky a release date as Cubic/Equilibrium did around the time Matrix came out; you don’t get far as a toy factory if you’re just resleeving electric toothbrushes while the competition throws in a Sybian. Going to be a good episode!

These Thief videos aren't everyone's bag of chips (or "crisps," whatever), but I enjoy the heck out of them. I look forward to your dissertation on the subject of "Blake Stone: Igneous, Sedimentary, or Metamorphic?" It ought to be a barrel of laughs -or at the very least a bucket or three.

It might not be my thing, but watching you play games that aren't in your BoomShoot wheelhouse is always fun. Plus, if you continue through the Thief game series, we're going to see you play through Shalebridge Cradle, which would make for a fun Halloween video.
