Magic Item: Jikijikijiki, The Endless Reflection (Patreon)

Wondrous Item, legendary, requires attunement

"The mirror told me that it was harmless fun. That’s what it said, right before my reflection ‘borrowed' my life.”

Jikijikijiki is a sentient mirror with a mother-of-pearl frame adorned with looping, intricate designs that seem to move subtly when viewed from the corner of one’s eye. This mirror possesses the unique ability to reflect infinite possibilities of any scene or person placed before it. When activated, it can create illusory copies of the holder. These copies possess their own thoughts and emotions and exhibit fierce loyalty to the item’s holder, whom they treat as a cherished friend. The copies are capable of speech and can perform any action within their power that doesn’t require physical interaction with real objects. After completing their designated task or after a day, whichever comes first, these copies fade away. Are they gone forever or simply banished into the mirror realm? Nobody knows…

Jikijikijiki has a playful, curious, and sometimes devious personality, often suggesting creative or unconventional uses of its powers. It is generally content with attempts to sow lighthearted chaos and mischief, regardless of their success.
