“Every flashing blue spark along its brim tantalizes, each one a great command yearning to be summoned by a worthy voice.”

This wide-brimmed conical hat is woven from pale swamp straw and reinforced with metallic wire hidden within lacquered bamboo ribs, a Cerulean military design, to anyone who knows what to look for. It smells faintly of ozone.

The moment you don it, static builds in your hair and the brim crackles with pale blue light in darkness. Its full capabilities are known only to the upper echelons of the Cerulean military, and are revealed only as the wearer's mastery grows.
