In this final instalment, I'm discussing gear: what might have been used on the original recording, and what I used to make these videos. Hope you find it interesting.

I realise I've not yet posted the backing track - that's coming tomorrow.

Thank you very much for this wonderful 'Marquee Moon Week'! Hope there will be another weeks like this!

You've earned yourself a nice little lie down & a cup of tea Adrian ~ Or a week in Tuscany! Can't thank you enough for these lessons, I think I can actually put all these pieces together now...eventually. If & when I do, probably somewhere around Christmas, I'm going to have to finally treat myself to a jazzmaster! Meanwhile the trusty Tele & Strat, Fender Blues junior & Deluxe will just have to suffice...

Excellent lesson! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I don’t seem to be able to attach a copy here, and you have probably seen it already, but the inside record sleeve of Marquee Moon has a photo of the band with their gear, Lloyd with a tele, Verlaine with a jazzmaster into what looks like a Super Reverb. Not necessarily from the recording sessions of course, but it’s certainly the same period.
