Hello beautiful patrons!

I get quite a lot of requests for Pixies songs but until now I've not got round to looking at any of their songs in a video. So here's my take on Debaser. It's another chance for me to use the Les Paul, and we have also have a nice Telecaster rhythm part too. Here's the link:

I've just finished tabbing it out (PDF can be found below). I've tried to write out all the pertinent bits, and if you listen to the record you should be able to piece it all together.

Hope you all have a great weekend. I'm off to Devon for a couple of days with the family (the Les Paul's coming too though...)

Speak next week,

Adrian

My Friday ritual: get up, make coffee, check out Adrian's new post - one of the highlights of my week! Thanks Adrian, Devon is lovely & you've earned it...

Adrian, did we just become best friends?

WOW, so glad you're entering this territory 🤪 I can't believe I'm learning some Ventures and Pixies sounds at the same time, it used to be my A/B side on my favorite cassete tape in the middle 90's... I think you read people's mind here Adrian, many thanks.

Oh God, one Pixies song Adrian. Really? Dig For Fire, River Euphrates, Hang On? All these songs that revitalised the indierock wave.

Thanks for sharing matey. Great track and great video as ever. Are you going to Pixies at Ally Pally in Sept?

Johan Beyens

If you need any more ideas for videos, I suggest everthing from Come On Pilgrim, Surfer Rosa and Doolittle albums ;) Thank you Adrian, enjoying and learning a lot!

Thanks Simon. Not currently going, but I really should try as it's just down the road. I'll see if I can get hold of tickets!

Haha. Yes, I could easily spend the next few months just doing Pixies songs as there are so many good ones!

Thanks guys. Glad to hear I'm becoming a part of people's Friday rituals!
