Hi Adrian just subscribed to your channel Can you please tell me what Amp and any effects that you used for this lesson?

Hi Paul! Good to have you on board here. Since it's quite an old video I can't remember off the top of my head. I usually talk about the gear I'm using right at the end of each video, so unless I forgot there should be a quick rig rundown in the video itself.

Paul Whiting

Hi Adrian can you please tell me what model of Telecaster are you playing in the Brand New Cadillac?

Mik Shawyer

Have you been reading the notes on my phone? Only last week I put this on my list of thing to learn and Lo and behold here it is, thank you thank you thank you 👍

Chris Kueny

Yes, Adrian is like that.

Dan Michener

Love it. Gonna start digging in

Paul Brown

Lovely stuff. Have only heard the Clash's version before

anyonecanplayguitar

Haha yes, nice to have these moments of synchronicity. Think a lot of people here are on a very similar musical wavelength.

anyonecanplayguitar

Thanks Paul. Yes, for a long time the Clash version was all I knew. But do check out the original - different but equally great I think.

Fishrock

And there are so many ways to play this

anyonecanplayguitar

Yes, think it would make an interesting exercise to experiment with different ways of doing it.

Clayton Dexter

Another great tutorial Adrian! Have you ever done a video exploring alternate tunings? I notice that many of the songs I enjoy like Pavement, B52s, and Sonic Youth tracks are in tunings I have never heard of..

anyonecanplayguitar

Hi Clayton. I've done a few videos in alternate tunings, but nothing really exploring them in depth. Love all the bands you mention. All known for their quite eccentric approach with alternate tunings - think a lot of them are just one-off experimental tunings for specific songs. Will definitely try and look at some of that kind of stuff soon. Challenging though as the approach is so unorthodox.

I have always loved the rockabilly sound but don’t have idea where to start so when I saw you had done this Adrian I was so excited! I find your posts very interesting and like regular surprise treats. Thanks for this one.

Thanks Gary. Yes, I can't think of a better way into the rockabilly, rock n roll sound than learning this solo. Good luck learning it!

James Wagner

Thanks! This song really bridges my interest in punk and rockabilly. It's starting to make sense to me!
