Here's the backing for this week's lesson. Real drums, provided by my friend Steve Duffy. Sounds really good (if I do say so myself). Enjoy playing along.

Thx for this Adrian, I really enjoy the early FM stuff. Do you mind if I make a request? I'm into Commander Cody/Bill Kirchen and wondered if you could get your twang on and have a look at Truck Stop at the end of the World, off the Seeds and Stems album. So much telecaster goodness...All the best, Joel

Adrian its like you are in my mind when you choose an artist or song. I love Danny Kirwans guitar playing and just like you did with Mick Ronson you choose the song that really brings their style to the forefront. He had a great way with harmonies Kirwan and was much more jazz influenced than his mentor Peter Green. Thank you so much and if you havent heard it heres another lost gem from Danny Kirwan and the very early FM ;) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eH7UnKjlyYs

Requests always welcome Joel. Like this idea. Bill Kirchen is one of the Telecaster greats, but I've never really explored his playing before. Will take a listen to the track you mention and see what I can do.

Thanks Daniel - not heard that before, what a great song, great singing too!

Thx for the reply. I think the album Seeds and Stems is a rerecording/greatest hits but the songs are really cheesy cool with loads of memorable guitar parts. Hot Rod Lincoln is quite funny with a tennis effect at one stage?!? All the best, Joel

Huge thanks for this Adrian.
