Here's my backing. This was fun to put together. The bass line is excellent and quite hard to play - I didn't have time to totally nail it, so this is my rough approximation. Enjoy playing along!

Just went through this. I actually always loved that riff but never tried it myself and now I'm just like, this is some brilliant guitar paying. Kinda reminds me of some Nile Rogers style triad chord changes.

Awesome lesson! Great to get back to some brit pop. I love the weird stuff. Have you ever considered looking at any of Wayne Hussey's stuff, either from Sisters or the Mission? First and Last and Always would be fun to learn. Great mix of 6 and 12 string.

So many times you pick songs that I sorta kinda knew ....but truth be told I didn't This and Girl Afraid being just two

Yes, I know what you mean - I often find there's quite a bit more to songs than I thought when I sit down to figure them out for these videos!

Yes, there's definitely some funky Nile Rogers kind of thing going on here. I wonder if that was a conscious influence on Coxon's part?

I have to confess I'm not super familiar with Mission/Sisters stuff - though I do know and like the odd track. I'll take a listen to First Last and Always!
