Hi everyone. This week, a Stone Roses classic. This one has been requested by a number of people. I'd half learned the track a few years ago, but it was good to revisit it and fix a few things that I'd been getting wrong.

I've tabbed it all out below. The tab is of my performance at the start of the video, which is a one-guitar version of the song combining a few different parts that I hear on the original recording along with a few ideas I picked up from listening to live performances. The backing track will be in the next post.

Hope you enjoy!

Thanks Adrian. I usually play this with a capo at the 7th fret. Looking forward to trying out this way. 👍🏻

Trick Fall

Excellent choice, I'm looking forward to picking up a few things from this.

Adrian, this is absolutely fab….thanks so much….brings me right back to ‘89 when that album was on constant replay :)

Ignatz Maus

Thanks Adrian, this is a classic. Love the opening and that solo.

Chris Grohe

This is awesome ! Love it! Bye Bye Badman would be great too. Actually - the whole first album !! Thank you 👍👍

Eric Garr

I keep waiting for Ian Brown to start singing

Jeff Sims

Had a laugh when you were talking about removing the capo for later performances. Probably something to do with Ian Brown not being able to sing it for shit live

Glyn Barnes

What a fantastic version Adrian, brilliant that really great to see you play that 👍🏻👍🏻

Hey Adrian! Recent Patron enrollee - I joined as you easily provide the most eclectic range of tutorials and I'm a sucka for Surf! Dunno if you read these for future requested topics but I'm going to try push two of my heroes. First Eddie Hazel from Funkadelic, I'd love to see a lesson on I've got a thing you've got a thing as I don't think I've quite nailed the whacked wah intro. Second goes to the legend that is Bernard Bulter - any Suede really - highlights Animals Nitrate, Moving, So Young... Man I wanted to sling a cherry 355 around my neck after 'discovering' him! Anyway thanks for what you do, thanks for being unique and awesome on YouTube!
