Hi everyone,

We have some good news for you. The new update will be available very soon — within the next hour. We’re currently uploading everything to the cloud.

While that’s happening, let’s go over what we’ve done and what has changed in the game.

🔧 Changes & Improvements

1. Combat System

The combat system has received some visual improvements.

Instead of regular text, floating damage indicators now appear during combat. You can see what they look like in the video below. We think this makes combat look much better and more polished.

We’ve also fixed the HP widgets. Previously, when a character had very little health remaining, the widget could display 0 HP even though they were still alive. This has now been fixed, and the health bar accurately shows how much HP you or your enemies have left.

2. Messenger

The messenger has also been redesigned and improved. It now has a much cleaner and more polished appearance.

The interface was adapted for us by the Bloody Ink team from their own game. You can see the updated messenger in the video below.

There were also a number of other smaller improvements, though we honestly can’t remember every single one of them at this point. 😅

🆕 New Content

🌆 Real World

The following storylines received new content:

The girlfriend’s storyline

The Boss and Rick storyline, where Rick is pursuing her

The Boss and MC storyline, where the MC is pursuing the Boss

⚔️ Fantasy World

Several new quests have been added:

The tavern dancing quest

The stableman’s son quest

A longer quest involving an unexpected threat hanging over the village — this is also the final quest for this location

We’ve also added a dungeon to the fantasy world.

⚠️ Important: Dungeon & NTR Content

There are no NTR elements in the dungeon in this update. We felt that this kind of behaviour from the MC wouldn’t make much sense at this point in the story.

For now, the dungeon can only be completed as a party with your girlfriend.

However, this dungeon will be replayable in future updates, and later you’ll also be able to form a party with Jamal and your girlfriend’s friend, which will lead to different outcomes.

⚠️ Important: Abilities

We also haven’t finished the ability system in this update, so abilities cannot be upgraded yet.

We’ll return to this system and fully implement it later. It simply requires more time than we currently have available, so we decided to postpone it rather than delay the update even further.

🗺️ The Dungeon System

What you’ll see in the dungeon — particularly the way exploration itself works — is actually a foundation for mechanics we plan to use much more extensively in the future.

The same system will be used for the world map, which is planned for the next update, as well as for future dungeons.

You can move around and zoom in and out of the area, and overall we think the result looks really cool. We believe this kind of system will fit the game extremely well, especially once we introduce the world map.

🔮 Future Plans

Now let’s talk a little about where we want to take the game next.

⚔️ 1. Fantasy World

Dungeons

We’re going to continue expanding the dungeon system and make it much more interesting.

There will be multiple different dungeons, and each of them will be replayable.

You’ll be able to enter dungeons with your friends and companions — your girlfriend, Jamal, Amanda, the MC’s sister — or team up with random players from the VR game.

And those random players won’t always behave appropriately toward the MC.

We think you can probably guess what we mean. 😏

Tavern Jobs

The tavern job system will also be added in the near future.

We already have an almost fully completed script for it. It just needs some additional polishing to make sure everything works properly.

Skills & Talents

We also plan to introduce a proper skills and talents system and make it as interesting and unusual as possible.

Combat

We’re still thinking about the combat system.

It may change further in the future, because we’re not entirely happy with how repetitive and simple it currently feels. We’d like to make combat more dynamic and engaging.

Reputation, Relationships & Romance

The game will also feature reputation and companion relationship systems.

We plan to make some companions romanceable — possibly not all of them.

We’d also like to eventually introduce romances between companions themselves, as well as polyamorous relationships.

That’s something for later, though. For now, these are just ideas we’re considering.

Archives

In the near future, we’ll unlock the third section of the inventory, which is currently unavailable: Archives.

This is where you’ll be able to find books and notes you’ve discovered throughout the game. They’ll contain information about the lore of the fantasy world, as well as important events and other details related to the story.

🌆 2. Real World

The real world won’t have quite as many gameplay systems as the fantasy world, but we still have plenty of plans for it.

Phone & Computer

First, we want to expand the functionality of the MC’s phone and computer.

We’d like to add some basic apps inspired by things like Instagram and Tinder, along with perhaps a few smaller features, so that the real world doesn’t feel empty.

At the same time, we don’t want to spend too much development time on minor details like these. They’re meant to make the world feel more alive, not unnecessarily complicate or slow down development.

Money, Dating & Relationships

Second, we’ll most likely introduce additional ways to earn and spend money.

Alongside this, we’re planning a proper relationship and romance system built around dates, gifts and other interactions.

In other words, if you want to win someone over, you’ll actually have to court them, rather than simply clicking through dialogue until the relationship progresses.

That said, we don’t intend to go overboard with the interactive elements either.

❤️ Final Words

Of course, this isn’t everything we have in mind. We simply wanted to share some of the ideas and systems we’re most focused on right now.

There’s always a chance that some of these ideas may change or even be dropped as development continues. Or maybe they won’t. We’ll see where development takes us.

For now, our main goal is to get back into a normal development rhythm and maintain a stable update schedule.
