Last week, I introduced the new mission system. Today, I’d like to go into more detail about how it will work and what you can expect from it.

🔓New Mission Unlock System

This week, I implemented the new mission unlock system.

With this system, you only need to enter a mission once to unlock it permanently. Once unlocked, you’ll be able to replay it whenever you want without having to return to the NPC who originally gave you the mission. This will also work even if you haven’t completed the story yet.

Of course, missions you have already unlocked will remain unlocked. You won’t have to start the game from scratch or replay the story to access them.

I’m also considering adding an item for new players who simply want to jump straight into the endgame content without playing through the story. This item would allow them to skip the entire main story.

This is something quite a few people have asked me for, so let me know what you think about it in the comments!

🎮Different Game Modes for Missions

At the beginning of each mission, you’ll be able to choose between several game modes. Some of these modes will need to be unlocked before they become available.

Here’s a preview of the first modes I have planned:

Spy: Avoid all combat and traps in order to prevent losing points.

Commando: Fight as many enemy groups as possible while avoiding traps to earn points.

Exhibitionist (Unlockable): Similar to Commando mode, but without any clothes.

🏆Mission Completion Ranks

At the end of each mission, you’ll receive a rank that determines the rewards you earn.

The available ranks will be R, B, A, and S, with S being the highest rank.

An S rank will grant you the maximum rewards available for that mission and mode. However, keep in mind that not every game mode offers the same rewards.

Spy mode will provide the lowest rewards, but it will also allow you to complete missions much faster.

On the other hand, Exhibitionist mode will offer the highest rewards, but it will also take considerably longer to complete.

This means you’ll be able to choose the approach that best suits you: complete missions quickly for efficient farming, or take more risks and spend more time to maximize your rewards.
