Sadly I can relate to Barbara's bloody Mary story. Back in December I was flying to Cancun, and at the first beverage service I ordered a tomato juice, and I got about two sips in before I spilled it and then it went all over my lap, about an hour in to a 6 hours flight. I didn't have enough napkins and when I landed in Mexico I had to use my bag to hide a GIANT red stain all over my pants. Had to quickly change into something clean before going through customs

The coolest lake ice skating I've seen is a guy with hockey skates and a chainsaw (with a blade cover). Bend his knees and rev the chainsaw tip into the ice and took off at like 20 mph.

Barbara, there is a system called Mazes, which is very rules light, and simple to run. Each player chooses an archtype and depending on that, they will only roll a single type of die, a d4, d6, d8 or d10 if I Remeber correctly. Really fun, and super simple

My favorite part of DnD is the roleplaying, but the rest of my party in my current campaign are more interested in the combat. Nonetheless I'm having so much fun, and I love playing my silly over-the-top character. I was nervous at first, but I think I'm getting the hang of being my character and not myself

I demo’d Mazes at Gencon one year. It was super fast and loosey goosey with the rules. Very fun.

I ran or for my gaming club at the school where I work. The hardest part to get used to was, as the GM, you don't roll anything. Solid system for one shots.
