Kayar in the Discord tracked down some of the more befuddling New Yorker comics that were described in the most recent episode. How Bill Maher and his guests ACTUALLY did at their task. Does the cab driver actually "look like a terrorist"? Does the man look "mentally disabled"? WHAT could the word we can no longer say POSSIBLY be? Well, now YOU can decide!

They're not in order of appearance in the episode, because it's Sunday and who's got the time for that.

I guess that taboo term was "blue-collar." Obviously any stereotypical working class person is a third rate person in BM's eyes. (You know I kid; there's nothing obvious about what he meant regarding said unsaid word. )

Hells yeah! Likely born and raised in the USA. Looking at the pics I think they all needed reading glasses and to be a bit less schwasted (mainly in BM's case). There's a lot of details that went unexplained, and it's not like the comics have all that much detail 🥴

So Bill got his ""humor"" from New Yorker doodles? Cool, makes perfect sense to invite celebs to stare at them in tortured confusion so he can just imply that they (and the audience) are just too dumb or not funny enough to "get" them. Now this is podcasting!
