I'll be honest; I'm experiencing a bit of a Billy Corgan thing here, where this Club Random episode is actually making me slightly more fond of the guest than I was coming into it. Bear in mind I'm writing this with roughly thirty minutes still to listen to, but while Tim Allen's politics are odious, I feel like anybody could sit in a room with him and have a perfectly normal time. He also revealed he's a train guy, which is maybe not so surprising when you look at his other interests.

Okay I finished and it just sort of spirals into mind numbing dog shit. We do get a new example of Bill Maher calling something, if we're reading between the lines, gay.

JFC they sound just like my older relatives at Christmas. The only safe place is the kids table, at least the conversation is based in reality

Scat Cannon

In this ccover art the reflection of stripping between his hair and his shirt is supremely clownish. It's wonderfully sheit! 🤩🤌

Kelli Rule

I was absolutely interested in Tim's luxury train story. Wtf Bill

OMG the climate change and dermatologist bit at the end. What a way to finish this rollercoaster of stupidity 😂. Truely, it's like they recorded my family at the Christmas table, and I'm a total sicko for reliving it. In fairness I do live in a place that was over 44 celsius / 111 fahrenheit yesterday, my brain is melted

Lay off the booze lady

I bet Tim Allen was confused that all the buildings in Egypt weren't pyramids.

The Laugh Factory website has a poll to find the 100 funniest comedians of all time. Vote for your favourite. Alternatively, vote for Bill Maher.

A dunt

I should NOT listen to this podcast in my therapist’s waiting room.

"A tool man loves tools, to the very end." I laughed so much during this episode.

Chuck Grape

I wanted to write that but I couldn't figure out how to spell it.

If I wanted to hear crying when I change a diaper I'd get MARRIED

Alexandra Schultz

All babies first hate having their diaper changed (it's cold!), then like it because you're smiling at them (around six months) and then get mad at it again around a year when they're trying to walk around and you're cramping their style by making them get changed!

I was trying to find the joke about the first circumcision... couldn't find any answers, but I thought this joke was pretty good. (not from Bill) Two men are sharing a hospital room. "What are you in for?" the first guy asks. "I'm getting a circumcision," his roommate replies. "Dамn," exclaims the first man. "I had that done when I was born, and I couldn't walk for a year."

Looks like the Tool Man was kinda right about it, though it's not as definitive. from https://www.etymonline.com Hebrew late Old English, from Old French Ebreu, from Latin Hebraeus, from Greek Hebraios, from Aramaic (Semitic) 'ebhrai, corresponding to Hebrew 'ibhri "an Israelite." Traditionally from an ancestral name Eber, but probably literally "one from the other side," perhaps in reference to the River Euphrates, or perhaps simply signifying "immigrant;" from 'ebher "region on the other or opposite side."
