This is so cute and hilarious I love it! 🤣💖 I thought that Skye was ok with "extra creatures" in her relationship with Sunny? I swear they were poly, maybe I remember it wrong, sorry 😅 But wherever, I just adore her expression, yes she's smiling but with intention to kill, you just portrait the jealous dog state in all it's glory 💯👍 It's funny because this remains to this anime (which name I always confuse with others) that the female protagonist even if have her moments of doubt like everybody, she only gets extremely jealous of other guys that are very friendly with her boyfriend, she's like "nah no girl is gonna take my man, besides I trust him, BUT THOSE GUYS NO WAY! Those flirting sluty homewreckers always trying to steal my babe, I won't lose too some handsome face! I protect my babe!" Is a funny misunderstanding, yep he's popular with men with in a "let's be friends" way, the thing that unlike the girl friends, his guy friends are more affectionate and touch feeling that you can think they are flirting, but nah just besties being besties.

Yep, Skye and Sunny have an open relationship. They're committed to each other romantically, but sometimes have (or share) new partners in the bedroom. They are both polyamorous, but have never actually tried to have a full-fledged romantic third enter their relationship, they'd have to have a long talk about it first. They don't really feel the need to ask each other permission to fool around, just keep the other informed and respected- but Skye does, on occasion, have her objections to Sunny's potential partners. We already saw her get a bit possessive around Honey. Skye likes Bruce (especially bullying him), and at first she thinks it's funny how annoyed he is by Sunny's constant affection and disregard for personal space. But when it eventually seems to perhaps appear there may be something between Bruce and Sunny (weird unspoken romantic/sexual tension), Skye picks up on it quickly, and she has...f e e l i n g s about it. She's territorial and doesn't want Sunny to get hurt. These 3 have a weird, complicated relationship that's gonna take multiple drawings to fully flesh out.

Given that Skye works with Jupe, would she be likely to try and re-hook him and Bruce up? Or try and hook him up with someone else to protect Sunny? Also Sunny's beans give me so much joy 😊

Yooooo but this is TRUE LIFE when your dog finds you cuddling with another dog. I was loving up on my step brothers dog (a MASSIVE black cane corso named Bane. He is babbu) and I glanced over and my dog was just *heartbreak, betrayal, right in front of my salad mom?* and I briefly felt like a middle age stock broker that threw away his comfortable marriage and half his money for a cheap thrill Skye shhhhh honey bun. Hear me out…cuddle Bruce’s other side. Look at those moobs. That wonderful fluffy gut. The sort of sleep you would get from the comfort of a Bruce-and-boyfriend snuggle pile is beyond words

Nah. Skye thinks Bruce is a prickly lil gremlin, and can't believe ANYBODY would want to get with him, especially not her fabulous and fastidious fox friend. She doesn't actually dislike Bruce, she finds him pretty fun to say, annoy into painting her toe claws, or harass into playing a board game upon which she will CERTAINLY cheat. Sometimes she can kinda get why Jupe found a little novelty in Bruce. She thought it was funny, even a teeny bit sweet, how Bruce is subjected to Sunny's antics and affection, and she'd even tease them about it, "oh my god, they were roommates" cue a furious "skye get the fuck OUT" by Bruce. But when Bruce and Sunny start to have something more resembling an actual friendship, when she sees how their interactions have developed a certain domestic softness to them now, when she notices Bruce jerks away less from Sunny's touch now, and maybe even snorts at Sunny's jokes once in a while, and Sunny so clearly WANTS Bruce's attention like the dumb dog he is- well, that's when the switch in Skye's own dumb dog brain activates, and Bruce switches from "my bf's grumpy roommate" to "COMPETITOR/POTENTIAL THREAT". And thus the Kill Bill theme starts up in Skye's head

To be perfectly honest, Skye isn't bothered so much by the fact that she isn't the center of Sunny's attention right now, but more so by the fact that she isn't the center of THEIR attention right now. Have they forgotten who's top dog around here? She thinks she's jealous, but really she doesn't like that she feels left out. If she were invited into the cuddle pile, she'd probably say no (she still doesn't know Bruce THAT well yet), but she'd relax a bit and lose the murderface.

Welllll I'm not gonna confirm or deny anything, but I do want to explore the relationship between these three more in depth. It definitely gets more complicated than 2 roommates and the girlfriend

So is the difference between Bruce and any other temporary partner Sunny has spent time with, in Skye's mind, the degree of Actual closeness? Like- the two guys are fully living together, and that's a personal/domestic thing that she is. not a part of. In some ways a partnership in its own right because the two of them are sharing so much. Is the sticky part for Skye the fact that. Bruce and Sunny have this bond on the side that she's not a part of? Like. "oh my god they were roommates" was a joke until it started to feel like less of a joke!! (Bruce is obviously. aware of Skye's sentiments, but to what extent does he know the Why? Does Sunny know about her discomfort, or is it something she directs mostly at Bruce?)

You're right on the money! Skye and Sunny don't live together, so Skye maybe feels the teeniest bit threatened (not that she'd ever ADMIT that) by the easy domesticity Sunny and Bruce have going on. Your questions make me realize I've jumped the gun a bit, and need to explore the development and progression of Bruce and Sunny's friendship, as well as Sunny and Skye's unique bond, AND Bruce and Skye's semi-antagonistic dynamic. Sunny doesn't know about Skye's feelings, because Skye doesn't like to admit to weakness, especially something as silly as feeling jealous, or god forbid, "left out". Bruce is no threat to a gorgeous, professional, put-together dog like herself! She does NOT feel threatened. >:( Not even a little! Sunny eventually figures SOMETHING is up cuz Skye gets really touchy-feely possessive with him whenever Bruce is around...

You have no idea how much I love this answer! Relationship of any kind are so fun to explore for me, since I'm aroace people think I hate romance or people in general, no way! People are a little scary for me, but if they into the same thing as me or are fun to talk, I do want then around, it just I'm bad in making presence present? Like sometimes I forget others exist because if I don't see it I don't remember it. Love is a beautiful messy thing that I adore as a concept, the same way with "physical intimacy", yeah I don't care about for ME, but I looove read and learn about it, it's not different that any genres of media for me. It's so entertainment see this different ways of romance~😁

i remember the first time u started fuzzbutts and how skye was a completely different character, and now shes this whole fleshed out gal!! your progression as a writer was so fun to watch. i also would love to see the goobers being poly (even if i imagine skye and bruce would be dating sunny, and not each other) in a silly little what if scenario.
