I meant to do a Mimi pinup doodle for milftober (the way better version of inktober that nobody ever told me about for some reason???), but ended up with this, go figure. These two have canonically hooked up at least once. Bruce has definitely got some mixed feelings about going to the bone zone with a kooky aye-aye lady who is 1.) his work colleague, 2.) more than a decade older than him, and 3.) the mother of Oddball, Bruce’s teaching assistant….and yet. Bruce seems to have a weakness for people who annoy tf outta him, lol

Yo tits.

Queenie

YEAHHHHHHH MIMI!!!!! IVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT HER GOOFY ASS LETS GOOOOO

lopoddity

literally the whole reason I made this, sometimes u just wanna draw tiddies

FloweryFruitFangs

Mimi’s tummy and stretch marks AHHHH I always adore how you draw older women <3 <3 <3

PD19

understandable, thighs save lives and tits cure depression

MiyaLaFlorDorada

I wonder if Bruce has ever question himself and why he likes what he likes 😅 Sometimes I wonder the ways of some people come to terms when their parents date/sleep with someone that is their friend, like I don't know. I'm not shaming, as long as everyone is a adult and is consensual, I just don't know why many make such a big deal about it, but maybe that just me. It's more like if that happens to me I would be more concern if my friend is treating my parent right but also kinda joking judge like "dude really of all the old people you go for mine? Damn and I thought my parent have standards but you are ok I guess" 🤣 I'm sorry

mirarevias

Oh my god I'm obsessed with this dynamic of smug (and hot and kooky) old lady and exasperated younger man who's into her in spite of himself Mimi's face is SENDING me god I love this

SketchyBug

Hol up, there’s MILFtober? This whole time I’ve just been focusing all my MILF drawing energy into May like a basic bitch. I still have much to learn.

lopoddity

Imagine my surprise! I was going through monthly prompt lists hoping for a morsel of inspiration...Inktober, blegh. OC-tober, blah. Ponytober, bleck (Februpony is superior). Kinktober, hnn...wait MILFtober??? Where has THAT been all my life. Though it doesn't seem to have specific prompts, the challenge seems to be in just drawing a different milf character of your choice every day. :3

SketchyBug

I have a whole roster of MILFs that I draw throughout the year so in May I focus on drawing other people's MILFs. Tho I've been swamped with comms in October anyway since people have been getting in on their Halloween pics so that's been taking precedence lmao

pookaWOODS

OMG YES. I didn't know how much I'd actually like these two as a pairing! It's actually really cute!

Gleeman and Artist

Lopoddity more like lopotitty (im so sorry for this joke haha)

Sorceringing

I love the little heart in mimi's hair 😭 get it girl!!

lopoddity

They're more coworkers/sorta-friends/occasional bang buddies than an actual couple. Bruce can only handle so much of Mimi rambling on about conspiracy theories and scarfing live bugs (usually at the same time) before he wants to hurl himself off a cliff. Mimi meanwhile does genuinely like Bruce as a friend, but finds him too prickly and surly to be serious dating material

pookaWOODS

VERY valid. I think that's a fitting dynamic for them 😁

lopoddity

she's smug cuz he's bitching so much and 100% free to leave at any time AND YET >:3

gh0ulishly-d3lightful

as a wise person once said... "world hard and cold. titty soft and warm."

WeirdAsIzzie

What would Odd's reaction be if he ever found out that Mimi and Bruce hooked up sometimes?

lopoddity

Great question! Odd would NOT be okay with it, and furthermore he'd be frustrated that he's not okay with it. At the very minimum, he'd think Bruce and Mimi were being wildly unprofessional. He's also aware that Mimi has been taken advantage of in the past, so he can't help but feel overprotective of his mother, and it doesn't help that Bruce most certainly isn't in this to marry his mom and sweep her away to a happily ever after. Odd knows that logically his mother is a grown woman with autonomy and can surely take care of herself and make her own choices, buuuut he still feels wary. He'd also feel some betrayal toward Bruce as his teaching assistant, like Bruce is kind of Odd's "boss", at the very least an academic Odd trusted and respected....who then slept with Odd's mom. >:( Odd would also have the typical childish disgust response to find out his parent is sleeping with ANYBODY, let alone Bruce. And lastly....Mimi raised Odd as a single mom and prioritized her research over dating for Odd's entire life, so Odd is used to being the center of her attention, her one and only most special baby binturong boy. Bruce would wake Odd up to the fact that he's fully grown now and may have to potentially share his Mimi-mom with a partner someday and Odd would haaaaate this, hate it so much. He'd probably try to meditate on it for a while before giving up and deciding it's easier to put arsenic in Bruce's morning coffee

PrairieGhosted

Shes hitting him w the "u like krabby patties don't u squidward" and she's so right to. I love Mimis confidence like she has scientific proof Bruce is compelled by her lmao she will only prove to be more obnoxious about it in the future I'm sure (also makes me feel :^) to know she knows she's hot shit after being treated so crappy for her sexuality in the past !!! ) Did she ever explore her sexuality / milf destiny much b4 Odd was all grown or did she Logic her way into recognizing she was a hot tamale before her finely aged Milfdom?

lopoddity

XD do y'all think my username is pronounced lopo-dittie? It's the words "lop" (like lop-eared rabbit) and "oddity" smushed together, so it's pronounced lop-odd-it-tee. Far be it from me to police y'all tho, lopotitty is dope ngl Mimi's mimis are def on display here, but in my original idea she was straddling Bruce and y'all were gonna see MIMI BUSH >:3. She and Bruce would both be semi-undressed in like the office supply closet and the gag would be Bruce asking Mimi (who's skirt is hiked up around her waist) why tf she isn't wearing underwear at work, to which Mimi says silly Bruce, she never wears underwear anywhere! :3

lopoddity

Mimi juggled raising Oddball with pursuing her doctorate, and that kept her far too busy to date. It's not til Odd is fully grown and outta the house, and Mimi is fully secure in her tenured professor position, that it occurs to her it's finally time to get her freak on. >:3 As an autistic woman, Mimi has historically been infantilized a lot/written off as a ditz, so she likes to be really forward when she likes someone. In her meager romantic ventures in her younger life, people have often treated Mimi like they were doing her a favor in paying her any manner of romantic/sexual attention, and usually ghosted her when the got to see her full unihibited self up close. She's used to being "too much" for people, so she doesn't expect much out of relationships, and doesn't often approach people with anything more than a quick fling in mind. Flirting is fun for her, and though she does like Bruce, she mostly flirts with him for her own amusement. She certainly didn't expect anything out of her (younger) work colleague. So she's surprised (and delighted) when one night after an office holiday party, she flirts...and Bruce actually makes a move. Bruce may be a grump, but he notably becomes less of a dick to Mimi the more he gets to know her, and when they're alone and intimate he's very considerate, even a good listener (she KNEW he was only pretending to sleep through her ramble! >:D). Bruce takes her weirdness at face value and does not expect her to suppress herself, and in his weaker moments, even entertains her conspiracy ideas and argues with her over them. All of which elevates Bruce from "person of interest" in Mimi's mind to "person I can be myself around", which is why Mimi considers Bruce her friend, not just a coworker or occasional hookup partner.

PrairieGhosted

Always appreciate how well u conceptualize the relationships and personality writing in ur cast 🧡 I love Mimi being unhinged & Bruce's love (friend fling) language being changing how he bickers w her haha. True tazzy devil energies haha He is Not Bruce without the fight and bite

hollis

LETS GOOOO

ummhallelujah

Bruce, don't you know it's weirdos like Mimi who make life worth living?

Gleeman and Artist

I actually didn't know how it was pronounced until now haha. But that other idea for said bruce/mimi drawing sounds great. Mimi is an icon for sure.

Robo87

Yeaaaaaah Mimi!! She got the cake!!!

Gleeman and Artist

Aw I actually really love hearing that about their relationship. It's nice Mimi has someone like that in her life. I'm on the spectrum as well and I hate when people infantize autistic people. Just cause I collect anime figures and wear pokemon merch doesn't mean I'm a child. >:o

knickknacks

TOP TEN TWISTS I WAS NOT EXPECTING BUT LOVE

lopoddity

Bruce is dazed and shell-shocked and experiencing extreme cognitive dissonance afterward watching the freaky lemur lady who just rocked his shit carefully arranging her nightime plushie squad Just So ✨️ around herself so she can sleep

Mastodon

Is Mimi a squishmallow-type plushie collector or a Little Guys (beanie babies, jellycats, etc) plushie collector? the people have to know 🎤

lopoddity

I originally pictured squishmallows, but realistically Mimi is probably a plushie purist that insists on three-dimensionality and proper form in her plushies and thinks squishmallows are just overrated pillows (....while secretly impulse buying the cuter ones). She's addicted to winning plushies in claw grab machines and adores toys other people find creepy (like furbies). She also makes her own plushies! If she can't find a high-quality show-accurate plush, she'll sew one herself~

Mastodon

oh i love the image of mimi hunched over a claw machine and twitching the joystick around with her little aye-aye hands, i wish her the best of luck! also sewing her own plushies is awesome

Smoldering-ashes

She’s so like me it inspired me to finally comment. I often describe myself as “a lot” and keeping people close is ultimate hard mode. Definitely grew up the “weird girl” that people have acted like showing interest in me was some sort of favor to be extra appreciated. I have a select few people who seem to find it impossible to be actually annoyed by me, and cherish them very much

Robo87

Weeks later Bruce is alarmed and baffled when he sees a new plushie version of himself in its place with the others, and Mimi is all “chill dude I’m not obsessed with you I just had to do something to say thanks after you did that tongue thing last time. Jeeze take a compliment would ya?”

lopoddity

Ha! I figured it was a touch too risque to mention in the post, buuuuuut. 😈 I had an idea that for as forward and chatty as Mimi is, Bruce is surprised when she becomes quite timid and nervous when they actually, y'know, start to get down to it. It feels off, Bruce fully expected her to be dictating they act out crazy fanficcy roleplay scenarios and try impossible sex positions, all while scribbling down notes for future reference. He stops to check in with her, to ask what exactly she wants to do together, and she just awkwardly laughs it off. Mimi says she's fine to do whatever BRUCE wants to do. And she offhandedly mentions she's used to sitting back and letting someone else take the reins, she's never had a partner prioritize her pleasure before, or even really ask what she wanted. But it's fine! It's fine. :) Really. She says it so cheerily, as though it's both expected and normal- that Bruce is at once sad for her, but also....mad? Really mad. Mad at every shitty partner that made her feel like she didn't deserve to have her needs met, or even acknowledged. And he tells her this, that if he wanted to get off with zero partner input he could've just stayed home...and that he KNOWS she's bullshitting him, that she's got a million freaky-pervy Mimi thoughts and desires in that bug-eyed noggin of hers, so might as well let em out. He....wants to know. And make her feel good. Or whatever, hmph. From the way Mimi BEAMS at him he knows he's probably just made a mistake, but y'know, pretty worth it in the end. Some of Mimi's weird fanficcy bedroom ideas and dirty talk turn out to be kinda hot. Pretty neat to do that aforementioned "tongue thing" and feel her thighs locked tight around his head and get all her academic vocabulary to devolve into gasps and swears and good LORD is Mimi one loud lemur when she's having a good time. It's flattering? And weird. But mostly, it's pretty fun. And cozy? Ah hell, did he and Mimi just become actual friends...?

Robo87

Awwwww that’s actually so damn cute!!! It reminds me of my bestie after a terrible break up. That piece of shit made her feel so undesirable that she confided in me that the thought of being naked in front of someone again made her feel sick (which is heart breaking. NO ONE should ever feel that way) Well after some time and therapy she slowly began dating again and met a great guy, eventually spending the night together When I saw her the next morning she just had this glow and confidence to her I hadn’t seen in so damn long, and when she grinned at me I got so excited I chased her around the house with a pillow hitting her all the while cheering that I was so proud of my dirty whore It might be “just sex”, but if that’s a part of your life that you enjoy then it’s so important to find a partner/friend that makes you feel heard and respected and comfortable, someone that cares about you enough to make sure you feel good in ALL ways when you’re together

Toadboss Ida

Oh man im getting spoiled tonight! Ty for the read Lop 🤩💕

knickknacks

This made me smile so WIDE stop it

Scorp

I'm just saying, an aye-aye could do crazy stuff with those fingers, Bruce should take advantage of that.

Cerulean

I love learning that Bruce is actually a really loving and concerned partner in the sheets! He wants to enjoy fun times, but making sure Mimi is having fun too? And making her needs and wants be heard? GENTLEMAN BRUCE. I love the way you draw hair, Lop! Mimi's hair is absolutely gorgeous 😍

lopoddity

Thanks! :3 And yep, Bruce is secretly a softie that cares about people, blegh. Tho really it's a win-win for him, considering he's a guy that really likes to eat out. In both senses of the word Mimi: Sit on your face? Well gee, I don't- I mean, I want- it's just- what if I, y'know....suffocate you? Bruce: I mean. That's the general idea, love. Mimi: :D!

Robo87

Mimi: *face in hands*…Bruce…I am SO sorry Bruce: *getting neck brace put on by the EMT. Grins and gives a painful wink at her* Worth it

mirarevias

The way I find I've been pronouncing it CORRECTLY for almost a decade, I'm so proud of myself 😭

Res Hound

"Bruce has trouble making eye content with Odd" good thing Odd doesn't make a lot of eye contact (i'm guessing)

lopoddity

Nah, check out Odd's art tag. :3 He tends to stare, just like Mimi. When Mimi was a child, she avoided eye contact and tended to mumble. She was snapped at by one of her primary school teachers, who felt that she was being disrespectful and inattentive. And so Mimi overcorrected and now engages in a somewhat unnerving amount of constant, prolonged eye contact, to show people they have her full attention! Funnily enough, sometimes she's so focused on making eye contact and not fidgeting that she forgets to listen to what the speaker is saying. Oddball picked up this behavior from his mom, I think I made a drawing a while back comparing their respective staring habit
