I originally was gonna upload this as part of a sketch dump, buuut I like it enough to post solo. :3 Featuring dear Princess Celestia and her hater ass cockroach wife. The urge to doodle ponies still grips me every now and then <3

just in case anybody wanted to see what my notebook sketches look like before I clean them up:

u can kinda understand why chrysalis was willing to abandon villainy. She and Celestia were able to reach a truce based on their mutual love of cake (though perhaps a different sort of “cake” for chrysalis…)

I looooove this one 💖 The designs of the wifes are *chef kiss*, I adore how both of them look old yet still you can see they are long life beings. It makes me laugh when the "reformation" of some villains is "I'm not trying to take over the world, not causing damage and I prefer to chill, but I despise you still hero, I'm the biggest hater I hate the way that you walk, the way that you talk, I hate the way that you dress blablabla evil monologue" 🤣 Honestly getting back about their design, I just I'm in love with Celestia, she looks so happy, squishy and pretty, this scene is in vacations? In the future? After the cast are parents? Because even if it's before it so cool, also so interesting that since the fashion trends are usually based in the Celestia&Luna I wonder how the sister react to the wild and unhealthy standards of beauty and fashion? But wherever still laugh as a maniac with what the bug queen said, she kinda looks like a mix of Izma and a very ehm unique Morticia Addams but dried by the sun, still she has her charm.

I still think it would be such a good premise to have a villain to stop being one because they found a cutie that made them go "you know what? If I can have that snack fuck plan evil plans, I'm eating good tonight and for the rest of my life! I put a ring on it ❤️‍🔥" extra fun if it was the hero/rival. More shows need to that more often, in manga is so fun and hilarious.

Sorry for my ignorance but I thought in general a death via fire is still very awful and painful, why is worse a grease fire? I mean is still a awful way to die. But still damn saying that, Chrysalis is really a hater queen eh? 😅

Grease fires are often hotter than other common types of fires and, because grease is oil based, can't be put out by water. She's basically saying that she wished she died in a really hot fire that she likely wouldn't have the ability to put out successfully 😅

A part of me wants to resist answering this because it's still clinging to the hope I may finish the pandoraverse someday (stranger things have happened!), while a part of me knows that's not very realistic. So I suppose I can give a verrrrrry abridged version of what was going to happen...um, noting that it's been years and I kinda don't remember the plot very well. :( I'll post it as a reply below.

Okay, so the last time we checked in with the pandoraverse, Moondancer had just tried (and failed) to absorb Fluttershy, an attempt that ended with Chakra Blossom absorbed instead and Fluttershy left in a coma. Pandora used her magic to grant sentience to Midnight Abyss' pet zombie Bertram, who revealed that Midnight was assimilated by Moondancer. I wrote a draft of the next chapter here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/headaches-draft-30018257 , in which Pandora reveals this info to her mother Twilight, and heads to the Crystal Empire to recruit King Sombra to seperate Moondancer from what she believes is the corruptive influence of Sombra's old horn. In the next chapter, King Sombra (shadowed by Pandora and Cupcake) confronts Moondancer to warn him that dark magic has a high price. They track the trail of his volatile magic down to a cave in the mountains, and find a highly whacked out Moony crying and shaking and trying to return a soul to one of the statues. At seeing Sombra, Moony falls into hysterics and babbles that he's so so sorry, he's TRYING to make it better but the voices are TOO LOUD and he can't remember which soul is which and oh god it hurts please make the voices stop. Sombra attempts to calm Moondancer and recount the tale of how himself once lost his way to greed and madness, but Moondancer is convinces himself that this is a ploy for Sombra to steal his magic back. In desperate "self-defense", he stabs Sombra through the throat with his horn, shocking Pandora and Cupcake. Sombra fights back viciously, but the wound is too great, and he too, is absorbed. When the smoke clears, Sombra's old horn has been fused with Moondancer’s unicorn horn. Pandora rushes in, but Moondancer is far too powerful at this point and wipes the floor with her, coming close to killing her- that is, until Cupcake kicks through a supporting rock structure in the cave, causing a collapse that she and Pandora barely escape. As they lament having lost Sombra and crushed their childhood friend, he suddenly BURSTS free from the rubble and launches across the sky in a streak of burning red light, heading straight for Canterlot. "Oh, biscuits", whispers Pandora. Moondancer at this point violently swings between shadow lord hell bent on his goal, to terrified and going insane with pain and terror young stallion that barely remembers his own name anymore. Like Sombra tried to warn him, this magic as a price...you. You will succumb to its power just like the ponies you attacked. It eats at your soul and mind until it can use your victim's terror and pain to consume you, and then IT takes full control. The only solution is to purge yourself of your own magic...something Sombra failed to do. Everytime Moony is somewhat lucid he tries to release the souls he collected, but the dark magic fights back until its in control again. This lapse in control is eventually what Pandora sees when SHE battles Moony, and at one point he begs her to just kill him and please return the souls to their bodies...he's so sorry...he never meant for it to get this far...he'll make it right even if he has to die. Now here's where I'm foggy on what was meant to happen next. I know that Moondancer, fully mad and maniacal at this point, goes to Canterlot to attempt to subjugate and kill his father, Duke Blueblood...but is thwarted by his half-sister Vogue, who defies him and stands in front of their father. I know that Pandora desperately tries to convince her mother Twilight and the remaining Mane 6 not to launch a fatal attack to stop Moondancer, arguing that he's still her friend underneath all the madness....all for Tirek to show up (he and Sombra are husbands in the pandoraverse) and declares his intent to violently avenge his husband's murderer...and anypony who dares stand in his way. Twilight forbids Pandora from interfering while they try to figure this out, and Pandora pretends to obey, before she and Cupcake privately decide to interfere anyway, with Cupcake vowing loyalty to the princess of chaos, no matter what. Pandora is touched, and they head out. Ummm....after this, I believe the princesses prepare to combine their power to kill Moondancer should Tirek fail in his vengeance ploy. Tirek and Moondancer battle, with Pandora and Cupcake popping in to turn the tide in Tirek's favor (while stopping him from ever dealing a killing blow, enraging Tirek). At one point they screw up though, and Moondancer manages to blast Tirek unconscious. Pandora, desperate, exhausted, and enraged, decides to battle Moondancer herself, despite being horribly outmatched. She tries, aided by Cupcake...and is horrified when a stray magic blast knocks Cupcake to the ground, seemingly dead. Pandora abandons the fight entirely to rush to Cupcake's side, nudging her still body and weeping that this is all her fault, she was a fool, selfish and stupid, a nuisance to ponykind, and now her best friend is DEAD and she never even got to tell Cupcake that she loves her- All this blubbering causes Cupcake to stir, and she weakly rises to boop her hoof to Pandora's snout to silence her, and whisper that Pandora may be a selfish and stupid nuisance, and definitely a questionable boss... but Cupcake has never loved anyone more. They share their very first kiss, which prompts a super saiyain style transformation where Pandora ascends into her goddess form, Lumina, who represents the balance between harmony and chaos. She proceeds to wreck Moondancer’s shit, but of course cannot deal the needed killing blow, instead agonizing over how to use her magic to purge him off dark magic without incinerating his very being- and this is when Tirek comes to. 1000% done, he seizes the barely conscious Moondancer, and rips off his horn- Sombra's old horn. Hundreds of souls pour forth from the wound on Moondancer's head- and Tirek drops Moondancer’s limp body, focused instead on the horn, and how he can use it to bring back Sombra. Something something, cut to black. Now I'm VERY foggy on how the story ends. I know that Moondancer wakes up in a hospital, scarred, hornless and repentant, forever without magic- and is brought to tears when his mothers Trixie and Maud show up and forgive him anyway. I know all the souls are restored to the crystal statues that were once their bodies, bringing Moondancer’s victims back to life- including Midnight Abyss. I know that Blueblood (urged by Vogue) makes the case for Moondancer’s rehabilitation, rather than imprisonment or execution. I know Pandora depowers from her Lumina form back to her goofy ass base form, deciding that remaining the princess of chaos with Cupcake beats being a real princess. I know she and Moondancer talk, with him desperately apologizing, and her of course forgiving him, with room now for them to finally become true friends, rather than rivals. Midnight Abyss certainly does not forgive Moondancer, but she is reunited with Bertram, and PB Sandwich, and her mothers, and does not waste time hesitating to say how she's missed them all (opening the door for a healthier relationship between herself, Starlight Glimmer, and Sunset Shimmer). Twilight and Pandora talk, and Pan asks Twilight if she's proud of her now that she "saved the world".....Twilight simply envelops her idiot daughter in a hug and says she's ALWAYS been proud of Panny. And....that's about all I got. Apologies if it's disjointed or rushed in areas, this really is all I remember. :(

That’s ok! Yeah this definitely would’ve been a LOT of pictures to do, but I really like the general ideas in it. But, thank you for sharing this. I didn’t want to ask at first cause I know we have Fuzzbutts now (and that is all great trust me), but it’s nice to have some kind of closure to what the Pandoraverse would’ve had in it

I love me some FuzzButts but it's always fun to dip back into the pony world too ^_^ (they really are fun for drawing practice) I love what you've done with Chrysalis and Celestia and now I'm trying to picture this theoretical Twilight visit xD Chrys slowly adding weird or gross things to Twilight's tea and Celestia just, undoing it as they go in a sitcom style

No worries. :3 I would say the main theme of the Pandoraverse is that while ambition is not inherently evil, it's important not to lose sight of what one already has. So Moondancer would've learned that he doesn't need powerful magic to be worthy of love- growing to appreciate his mothers and ultimately becoming a teacher. Pandora forges a true bond with her mother and abandons her inferiority complex, dropping her misguided dream of becoming a Twilight clone and simply coming to like herself the way she is, flaws and all. Cupcake, having once feared herself as plain and boring, comes to view herself as undeniably strong- a hero of Ponyville- no longer insistent on being Pandora's knight/minion, but now simply her dear friend (and partner). It's a messy ending, but largely a happy one.

Great Value is a generic store brand of Walmart products. Like, Walmart sells the recognizable official Coca-Cola, but also a cheaper slightly lower quality version called Great Value Cola, which a person may buy if they're trying to save money. As a massive cheapskate, I am a big proponent of buying generic store brand products instead of the more expensive brand name items. >:O

You have that type too?! 😃 That's so cool! In Chile we have our favorite, cheap and ironically much less damage generic brands. When I was a little girl in birthday parties we have the foods our moms baked and candies/snacks/drinks of Fruna. Fruna is an old company of sweets that is famous because all their products are cheap, sell in everywhere and also have less "chemical" stuff that the expensive brands. We have our brands for people with food allergies now but Fruna was famous because it was more gentle for the sensitive tummies like mine 😅 I can eat Fruna cookies and drink their cola soda without the feeling that I need to vomit. We also have Acuenta, that it the brand for all the house food, like rice, noodles, beens, oil, etc, everything you need to cook a meal, and again it's cheaper and have less stuff, oh but also have potato chips, cookies and sodas. We Chileans, well latinos in general, we are big into saving money in food, like going to the street markets? I don't know the name in english but every community have one, they sell in the vegetable and fruit as principal, but you can find everything there, from clothes to electronics. Usually fruits and vegetables are expensive in supermarkets and if I'm honest... They aren't as good as the ones in street markets 😑

Thank you so much for this Lop. One of the things I hate most as a reader is when I get really really hooked by a story and it never reaches its conclusion. I never blaim the author. Inspiration is important and sometimes it’s better to just leave the story be instead of continuing because of a sense of duty. But as a curious reader I can admit, it’s agony. 😅

Finally I know what happened with the statue cursed ppl and with moondancer and that he got a ”kinda” happy ending after all that spiral in to chaos. And pan got over her mommy issues. Yay!

Loved it the whole way, and always felt kinda sad that it seemed we wouldn't see the end of the pandoraverse (totally understandable of course, you have more than the right of wanting to explore other interest!).
