*lovingly holds ur boob*

Miffed at how so many of my lesbian couples are stuck in stupid pining mode or otherwise kinda dysfunctional, so here’s a happily married couple. It’s Lulu (Tibbs’ mom), and her big goat wife, Mona. Mona is a kindly and soft-spoken artist, spending hours crafting everything from watercolor landscapes to hoofmade jewelry to artisanal cheeses. Lulu works hard at her motorcycle repair shop so that dear, delicate Mona (who is part fainting goat) doesn’t have to work a standard 9 to 5, instead getting to devote herself to her great loves- art, cheese, homemaking, and of course, Lulu. The pair met a bit later in life, in their early forties, but clicked instantly and easily. Both have sons from prior relationships- Lulu with Tibbs, while Mona is the mother of Teddy.

Teddy and Tibbs, of course, are stepbrothers.

How do Tibbs and Teddy feel about their stepmoms. They both seem like they'd love them no matter what, but I'm just curious. Was there ever any kind of rivalry between the two?

This has melted my heart just in time for bed. Thank you. 🥰

Ahhghh!! 😍 This is actually my wife and I’s dynamic (and we’ve both taken turns being Lulu in this sort of embrace, for sure)…Fantastic work as always; you’ve helped to make my Lesbian Visibility Week even more fun than usual! 🙂

Between Tibbs and Teddy? Not really. Ted is the younger of the pair and, having grown up rather sheltered, was pretty eager to befriend his soon-to-be stepbrother. Tibbs however had a verrrrry rebellious youth and was in and out of juvie at the time. Mona tried to gingerly set some boundaries for Tibbs (as opposed to Lulu, who kinda let Tibbs do whatever he wanted), which immediately earned her her stepson's contempt and increased rebellion. Tibbs also HATED Teddy's wide-eyed bids for friendship, he found his little brother dorky and annoying beyond belief. Tibbs pushes Ted and Mona away again and again, buuuut they're both people with a lot of love to give, and though the going is very rough, eventually Tibbs tough punk exterior does crack, as he comes to believe he is worthy of this love. Given enough time, he returns it, and as adults he and Ted absolutely do consider themselves blood brothers.

I love it! While pinning and relationship drama in fiction can be fun, sometimes it’s nice to see a healthy happy couple just be in love. I’d like to see how their contrasting interests interact.

Gleeman and Artist

Love seeing happy lgbta families as much as I like seeing drama. I'm also glad that tibbs and teddy started to get along eventually too. I was pretty close with one of my step siblings too I like seeing that represented too.

Mona is so pretty!

Whereas Jude and Savannah are chaos lesbians, Lulu and Mona are the order lesbians. Balance has been restored once more..... Also Mona's design is great! Can't quite tell but does she have them spooky goat eyes?

Scyllarus

Ooo, sweet lesbian moms are lovely! While I do love me some drama, stable and supportive relationships are near and dear to my heart <3 I do kinda wonder - how did fainting goats come about? I can understand dogs kind of...domesticating themselves into breeds, but fainting goats seem like something you wouldn't want to perpetuate. I looked at the wiki article and it seems like they originated in Tennessee, so...is this a case of accidental inbreeding via isolation? Or just a weird genetic issue that pops up in the general population?

PrincessMuffinArt

Goat! :D She’s so pretty! They seem so sweet! <3

SmilesPerHour

Aww, I like Mona already! She seems like such a kind and clever soul, and I do have a soft spot for goats

Robo87

I just want what they have 😭❤️ sometimes you just want someone that loves you and just wants to gently hold your boob (They both want to stomp Liv into the mud after Perry comes into their lives )

Perry: Oh yeah, and then my mom said she should've dropped me off on the side of the road back when she still had the chance, haha- Teddy: That's horrible! >:O Lulu: Pauvre ti bête! Are you sure you're okay, kitten? Because pardon my french, but your maman sounds like a real coocoon. >:/ Perry: ....A real what? Mona, ripping the fattest hit: It means 'cunt', dearie. <3 Perry: !!!!! Wha- that's- that's not nice! Tibbs: It's also not inaccurate

Oh dogs didn't domesticate themselves. Domestication happened largely by happenstance, the result of specialized rural communities being insular and isolated over many generations. Or at least, that's one theory. I personally prefer Mimi's conspiracy theory- that mysterious aliens called "hoomans" used artificial selection to guide some species evolution. In any case, fainting goats came about the same way they did in our world- by accident. Their characteristic fainting is the result of a congenital mutation, and since it's a dominant trait it's easily passed down. Fainting goats get their name because the behavior is very observable within their breed, but they are not by any means the only herbivore that seize or collapse when startled or frightened. The "freeze" instinct is common to prey animals in FB, and can be further exacerbated by anxiety disorders. Victoria, for example, tends to bleat and keel over when frightened, quite like a fainting goat.
